This disease's mortality rate continues to rise. Early detection of malignant tumors is essential for treating patients and improving survival rates. The evaluation and treatment of brain tumors rely heavily on the accurate categorization of the tumors. To spot malignant growths in the brain, neuroradiologists employ a variety of imaging methods. However, Magnetic Resonance Imaging is widely employed because it has a high picture quality as well as its absence of reliance on ionizing radiation. When it comes to classification and segmentation difficulties, among the machine learning subfields is deep learning (DL), which has lately demonstrated impressive results. Utilizing techniques of DL in the context of a big dataset medical field has shown to be quite advantageous, opening up completely new pathways and opportunities for the development of novel methods for the detection of illnesses. During this investigation, we are going to discuss a deep learning model that was created with the help of a CNN architecture to identify and categorize various forms of brain tumors from data found in the open-source dataset. The identification of brain tumors is accomplished with the help of a simple convolutional model, and the categorization of the primary kinds of brain tumors is carried out with the assistance of a transfer learning model known as ResNet50.","PeriodicalId":338586,"journal":{"name":"2023 Third International Conference on Advances in Electrical, Computing, Communication and Sustainable Technologies (ICAECT)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133200607","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this work, an Optimal Three-Phase (OTP) MRI segmentation framework is proposed for an effective interpretation and classifying the varied MRI dataset for further investigation and improved results. The OTP framework brings diverse popular segmentation frameworks to undertake MRI investigation process. An Optimal Three-Phase (OTP) MRI segmentation framework is intended to assortment the services of most popular FCM clustering framework, Watershed Segmentation framework and EMG (Expectation Maximization and Gaussian) mixture framework for an automatic and precise analysis and diagnosis of tumor in MRI. The proposed Optimal Three-Phase (OTP) Framework has a comprehensive tumor analysis structure which comprise of three phases for identification, segmentation and extraction of disorder region in MRI. The OTP framework has automatic identification of disorder in MRI images consecutively tumor region segmentation. The first level deals by the manifestation and identification of brain tumor in input MRI datasets. The second level deals with segmentation of tumor and analysis of tumor region in MRI images. The third level is constructed on tumor region extrapolation which is capable to extract the tumor core, active tumor and whole tumor region. The standard input MRI dataset comprises of 1000 patients brain MRI images which is composed of T1C MRI images form BraTS. The assessment results of proposed framework for analysis tumor achieved an accuracy of 98.23% ± 1.1% compared with existing techniques. These favorable outcomes demonstration that the offered framework is most efficient and robust with respect to conventional classification techniques in terms of efficient results on standard BraTS dataset.","PeriodicalId":338586,"journal":{"name":"2023 Third International Conference on Advances in Electrical, Computing, Communication and Sustainable Technologies (ICAECT)","volume":"76 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124809591","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In social interactions, emotions play an important part as well. Our facial expressions play an important part in expressing meaning along with spoken words. It is quite easy for us to recognize facial expressions; but for a computer algorithm, it is a challenging task. Automatic facial recognition using deep learning is one of the technologies with which one can easily recognize human emotions from the interlocutor. As a matter of fact, deep learning architectures such as CNN display extraordinary results for the detection of facial emotions. Presented work discuss development of CNN model for the recognition of facial expressions. Based on existing work, we utilize a dataset named “Face expression recognition” for training and testing the proposed CNN model. Using relevant technologies, we developed a system that is able to detect multiple facial expressions at a given time.","PeriodicalId":338586,"journal":{"name":"2023 Third International Conference on Advances in Electrical, Computing, Communication and Sustainable Technologies (ICAECT)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130257027","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In several circumstances it is beneficial to recuperate all individual sources from the mixed signal, or partially to segregate a particular source. In laboratory conditions, most of the algorithms work acceptably where input signals, number of source present in the mixture, mixing methodology etc. are well known to the separation process. But in real-life scenarios the problem is much more tangled and it begins with the input signal, a mixture where most of the parameters are unknown. Several approaches have been proposed for the solution of this problem but development is currently still very much in progress. Some of the more fortunate approaches works well when there are no delays or echoes present. The paper summarizes these approaches taken previously to solve this problem and an experiment of source separation which will mix and then de-mix those source signals using various methods like Conv-TasNet, Demucs, IVA, etc. The novel method implemented in this paper involves using LMS filters to enhance the weaker signal strength, thereby improving the quality of the estimated signal in separation through upgradation in signal to noise ratio.","PeriodicalId":338586,"journal":{"name":"2023 Third International Conference on Advances in Electrical, Computing, Communication and Sustainable Technologies (ICAECT)","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130002888","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
