In a grid connected VSI, the active and reactive powers injected to the grid are controlled. The control dynamics of a synchronous machine may be mimicked to control the active power injection by a VSI, resulting in a Virtual Synchronous Machine(VSM) operation. Here the reactive power injection is controlled using a simple PI controller. This paper evaluates the performance of a virtual synchronous machine in a weak grid. Simulation results show that the virtual synchronous machine is able to track the active and reactive power references when the grid impedance is less. It is observed that when the distributed generator is far away from the grid, the effective grid impedance seen by the VSM will be larger and it adversely affects the performance of conventional VSM.","PeriodicalId":338586,"journal":{"name":"2023 Third International Conference on Advances in Electrical, Computing, Communication and Sustainable Technologies (ICAECT)","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121788969","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It has been found that the most promising catalyst is one coated with iron and cobalt oxides. The presence of cobalt oxides in nickel foam leads to easier oxidation of ethanol and reduction of oxygen. At the same overvoltage, in the alcohol layer at a potential of 100 mV, the current density on nickel foam with cobalt oxides is at least 2 times higher. In the salt layer, the process of releasing oxygen on nickel foam with cobalt oxides begins at potentials 250 mV more negative than on pure nickel foam. The use of a copper support as a support for the catalyst is justified due to its good electrical.","PeriodicalId":338586,"journal":{"name":"2023 Third International Conference on Advances in Electrical, Computing, Communication and Sustainable Technologies (ICAECT)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116892667","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, many steps are needed before the start, one of these is the autonomy of the Earth. Thus, among the problems to solve this, the development of experiments to make viable crops outside the Earth is one of these. For this reason, in this proposal, the Center for Space Emerging Technologies presents an emerging conceptual design project, which is to study the effect of microgravity on the growth of plants with fruits like Cherry tomatoes during their whole growth cycle from the seed to ripe and analyze the differences between Earth and 3D-clinostat with 3-degrees of freedom simulator conditions. Moreover, some new conditions like a different substrate and guiding the plant growth will be added to simulate inert fertilized soil and reduced free space on the ship or greenhouses of the colonies. This project presents the methodology information to be a guide used for aerospace agricultural engineers and physicists in order to perform a future test with high efficiency, considering many factors such as the constant rotational 3D movement, the biology-physiology of the plant, their struggle to maturate in unnatural conditions, and if they are edibles. In conclusion, if favorable results were achieved; consequently the next step for this project is to improve the autonomy of the clinostat with auto-irrigation and light controls, besides the test with other plants like beans, peas, watermelons in order to improve the source of food for astronauts' nutrition during spaceflight for future missions.","PeriodicalId":338586,"journal":{"name":"2023 Third International Conference on Advances in Electrical, Computing, Communication and Sustainable Technologies (ICAECT)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124960076","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The digital space has evolved greatly with the innovations and new state-of-art-technologies where all domains adopt this dynamic change to explore and deliver to the people in many ways. A great interest thrived in us to explore the digital evolution in Indian mythologies. The basic notion is to connect the people with the mythological stories and to make it more innovative and creative to create a better and smarter world with manifold technologies available now. To give life to the stories, a few characters exist and people remember them forever a decade. Nowadays, it appears to be a challenging task for the youth to be aware of various mythological stories and the characters involved in those stories. The ignorance level of this kind of story seems to be more and it might not fascinate in the near future. Hence, to educate and create awareness about the mythological characters, the need for a learning model is required. The objective of this work is to deploy various models to do classification and detect Mahabharata characters like Arjun, Bheem, Karan, Krishna, etc. Moreover, experimental analysis has been done on state-of-the-art models like traditional Resnet50 and detection models like yolov5. Performance metrics such as training accuracies, validation accuracies, and then test accuracies are examined.","PeriodicalId":338586,"journal":{"name":"2023 Third International Conference on Advances in Electrical, Computing, Communication and Sustainable Technologies (ICAECT)","volume":"94 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122532704","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We also showed a path to Optical Character Recognition. Optical Character Recognition (OCR) is basically a technology which can change over a computerized image of content to editable content i.e. it can change digital image to editable text. An OCR by using image processing and classification for Bangla dialect is proposed here. The primary step of this project is that to recognize and detect ‘text’, the usage of image classification and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is implemented. Characters are separated from the Corpus and then the most decisive and challenging of the project step is implemented which is the verification of the word or corpus. The Bengali word or corpus is then extracted from the digital image and then it is converted to digital font and then the digital font is compared with our accumulated data set to verify whether the word is absolute or not. To enrich the diversity of Bengali language in the field of technology the project plays a very significant role from its own view.","PeriodicalId":338586,"journal":{"name":"2023 Third International Conference on Advances in Electrical, Computing, Communication and Sustainable Technologies (ICAECT)","volume":"71 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114271512","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Here, the present distribution system is moving from being passive to active in nature because of increasing penetration of Renewable Energy Sources (RESs). This is resulting into formation of microgrids (MGs) having its own sources and loads. Now, the grid connected and islanded mode are operated in MGs. The working of MGs in presence of motor loads is very crucial control problem due to low inertia in the RESs. This paper introduces the integrated ac/dc MG that are applicable in a real-time controller design, which include renewable energy conservation and motor loads. When the hybrid microgrid is separated from the utility grid, it is works in special mode for acceptance of intermittent generation of the RESs. This calls for storage of the energy to provide good quality power supply to the loads especially the motor loads. It proposes the power flow control of the ac/dc hybrid MG with the help of converters which are of bidirectional nature. An AC/DC dual-powered converter is capable of cutting off active and passive power which are connected to ac to dc bus and it controls the frequency of the MG system and power flow. The output from generator is connected to the solar by the function of maximum power point tacking which is high by using a DC/DC booster converter. The battery banks that are attached to store the energy and increases the stability of the system. Because of low inertial characteristics of power electronic converters, the working of motor load is emphasized. The test results are presented to confirm the proposed AC/DC hybrid MG control scheme.","PeriodicalId":338586,"journal":{"name":"2023 Third International Conference on Advances in Electrical, Computing, Communication and Sustainable Technologies (ICAECT)","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128762284","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A correct cancer type diagnosis enables the professionals to select the best course of action and save the patient's life. The significance of an automated tumor classification system incorporating image processing should go without saying. The classification of different forms of brain tumors using magnetic resonance images (MRI) has been improved in this paper utilizing deep learning and a group of machine learning algorithms. The Brain Tumor MRI Dataset can be divided into four groups, which include three types of brain cancer (Glioma, Meningioma, and Pituitary), as well as non-cancerous, or normal type, tumors. o extract detailed information from the MRIpictures, a VGG-19 convolutional neural network is created. Then, to classify among various cancer kinds, these filtered deep characteristics are put into multi-class ML classifiers. The outputs of each ML classifier are thencombined to improve performance using a weighted average ensemble of classifiers. A total of 7022 MRI scansfrom four classes make up the dataset for the system. The accuracy of the Brain Tumor MRI dataset has improved, with a a Meningioma class accuracy of 97.88%, a Pituitary class accuracy of 98.76%, Glioma class accuracy of 99.78%, a normal class accuracy of 99.00% and an overall accuracy of 98.87%.","PeriodicalId":338586,"journal":{"name":"2023 Third International Conference on Advances in Electrical, Computing, Communication and Sustainable Technologies (ICAECT)","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128363703","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
