It analyzed the data collected by using the Pearson’s correlation coefficient and a hierarchical multiple regression. \u0000Results : Their perceptions on the nursing work environment have positive correlations with the patient safety management activities(r=.49, p<.001), and the nursing performance(r=.48, p<.001). The patient safety management activities also have positive correlation with the nursing performance(r=.59, p<.001). \u0000Conclusion : This study found that nurse’ perceptions on the nursing work environment hospitals dedicated to infectious diseases are the factor influencing both the patient safety management activities and the nursing performance, suggesting that administrative and institutional efforts for improving the nursing work environment are required to enhance more effective patient safety management activities and nursing performance than those in the COVID-19.","PeriodicalId":338575,"journal":{"name":"Korean Society of Nursing Research","volume":"217 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114851388","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The survey was conducted from January 13 to February 7, 2021. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS/WIN25.0 program. \u0000Results : The mean score for turnover intention was 3.42±0.75. The turnover intention was correlated with reality shock (r=0.28, p<.001) and workplace bullying (r=0.45, p <.001). The variables affecting turnover intention were the general ward (β=0.25, p=.049), nurse career spanning ≥ 6 months (β=0.16, p=.031), lack of experience in clinical practice at workplace institutions (β= 0.16, p=.026), and high workplace bullying (β=0.36, p<.001). The total amount of explanation for turnover intention was 25%. \u0000Conclusion : In order to reduce the turnover intention of newly graduated nurses, hospitals should implement systematic personnel management programs and actively participate in student internships. Additionally, at the government level, effective policies should be introduced to decrease excessive workload among nurses as a measure to reduce workplace bullying among new nurses.","PeriodicalId":338575,"journal":{"name":"Korean Society of Nursing Research","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130878276","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Data were collected using a questionnaire from 257 students participating in bio-medical ethics education from December 15, 2019 to January 15, 2020. \u0000Results : The subjects’ ethical disposition were 42.21±5.18 for idealism and 38.91±5.96 for relativism. The average professional self-concept was 3.72±0.43, and the CPR attitude was 3.83±0.47. The overall average of bio-medical ethics was 3.17±0.44. The relationship between idealism (r=.54), relativism (r=.28), professional self-concept (r=.39), CPR attitude (r=.26), and bio-medical ethics of nursing students showed a statistically significant positive correlation. The significant predictors of bio-medical ethics were idealism (β=.04) and professional self-concept (β=.18). \u0000Conclusion : Based on the research results, the development of various types of educational programs that can improve bio-medical ethics capabilities should be developed. First, comprehensive education on ethical principles and concepts should be provided in ethical decision-making situations. Second, educational content that can foster professional self-concept and idealistic ethical disposition should be included to understand ethical beliefs. It is necessary to apply educational programs, such as simulation, discussion, and problem-solving teaching and learning methods, so nursing students can actively participate in and judge bio-medical ethics situations.","PeriodicalId":338575,"journal":{"name":"Korean Society of Nursing Research","volume":"86 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122016810","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Each facility has selected one resident for each of the eight groups. The functions of daily living, cognitive function and physical function, and functional recovery training service providers of 453 selected residents were recorded on a checklist based on the past week. \u0000Results : The degree of assistance for activities such as bathing and shampoo increased proportionally from Group 1 to 8 in the eight categorized groups. The proportion of cognitive and physical impairments also increased. The analysis of the average time and frequency of functional recovery training conducted by residents in Group 1 to 8 over a one-week period revealed that the average time of physical activity training was 9.56 minutes with 3.34 sessions, movement and walking training had an average of 6 minutes with 4 sessions, and activities of daily life training had an average of 12.04 minutes with 4 sessions. \u0000Conclusion : The average time and frequency of functional recovery training conducted for the residents can be utilized for the development of standardized guidelines for functional recovery training.
