Stein de las obras Investigaciones lógicas e Ideas I","authors":"Cristián Núñez Durán","doi":"10.46553/tab.15.2019.p60-78","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.46553/tab.15.2019.p60-78","url":null,"abstract":"The present study aims to be an approximation of a particular aspect of the relationship between Edmund Husserl and Edith Stein that helps elucidate the reasons for the distance between the two throughout their academic career. Specifically, the research focuses on the reception of two specific works of the Husserl in Stein's thinking: Logical Investigations (IL) where the philosopher had the first encounter with phenomenology and gave himself to this new method with passion and the first volume of Ideas: Ideas: General Introduction to Pure Phenomenology (Ideas I) with which she began to distance himself from the position that E. Husserl began to adopt. The great contribution that Edith Stein attributes to IL is mainly the idea of absolute truth and the objective knowledge proposed by E. Husserl in his new phenomenological method, which underwent all the relativisms that she saw in modern philosophy. However, with Ideas I, the philosopher distances herself from some aspects of Husserlian thought, since she sees in them rather a reissue of Kant's proposals of idealism, rather than a continuation of what she had initially conquered. What Stein experiences with the development of Husserlian thought is disenchantment, for the contribution that E. Husserl's early thought made to his constant search for truth was dissipated with later works, which for the philosopher were mainly focused on making a convincing foundation of Idealism. On the other hand, the approach to the thought of Thomas Aquinas opened the way to a \"philosophy of life\" that he was not finding in the phenomenological method proposed by his esteemed Professor Husserl.","PeriodicalId":33854,"journal":{"name":"Tabano","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-04-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46277806","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

His work has been recollected in works related to the psychoanalysis of the elements: water, air, earth and fire. These four elements are present and manifested in the psyche was poetic images of the substances and cosmic forces, principle of the primitive cosmogonies, the placement of men in the cosmos. In this present work we have focused in the element fire given its mystic feature and influence it has had in the primitive symbolism. Illuminated by fire, Bachelard assures that the symbol is charged with history and that it is given in the conjunction of multiple traditions. The flame of the fire would compel man to imagine, to dream. Every dreamer of the flame finds himself in a state of original dream. The symbol of fire would transport man not only to his own past, which is not his own, but also to the past of the first fires of the world.","PeriodicalId":33854,"journal":{"name":"Tabano","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43736579","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

En este sentido, la idea de “movimiento de la vida” resulta fundamental para la comprensión de una reconfiguración de la existencia y del sentido del encuentro con el otro en su discurrir en el mundo. La oposición “ser con” y “ser contra” se presentan como manifestaciones de un mismo proceso de cosificación que, a partir del “sacrificio”, pueden ser superados en una dimensión más plena y auténtica de la existencia que es, al mismo tiempo el encuentro efectivo con el otro más allá de toda determinación funcionalista y utilitaria.","PeriodicalId":33854,"journal":{"name":"Tabano","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43710020","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To demonstrate this, we will dedicate ourselves, first of all, to develop the main concepts of the transcendental stage of reflection such as the Ricoeur proponents. Then, we will try to see how and to what extent they confront the Heideggerian proposal. With this, we intend to highlight the methodical and thematic differences present in the phenomenological-hermeneutical projects of both philosophers.","PeriodicalId":33854,"journal":{"name":"Tabano","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42865970","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Firstly, I present the key elements of the Husserlian consideration of philosophy in Crisis and then I try to outline the violence towards alterity that his position would imply. Secondly, I delineate Levinas´s appraisal of contemporary ontology and his idea of giving preference to ethic as a way of dealing with the violence of thinking. Finally, I revisit Derrida´s critique on Levinas and Sepp´s reflection on phenomenology in order to underline the in-between as the proper place of thinking.","PeriodicalId":33854,"journal":{"name":"Tabano","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70563240","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
