One of the important resources of this organism in nosocomial infection is related to hospital personnel. The objective of this research was is to investigate the frequency of MRSA gene in staphylococcus aureus isolated from Hospital staff in Darab by multiplex PCR. In this study, 150 hospital staffs were investigated and specimens of staphylococcus aureus which isolated from those were confirmed by biochemical and microbial methods. The disk diffusion method was used to determine the susceptibility of the isolates to methicillin and mupirocin antibiotic. Then, the presence of mec-A, mup and nuc genes were investigated by using of Multiplex PCR method. of Hospital was relatively low. Increased expression of Bcl-2 gene in cancer cells has anti-apoptotic effect. In the present study the effect of Spirulina extract on gene expression in cancer cell line was investigated. In this cell The brain cancer cell line was procured and cultivated Iranian Biological Cells were divided into two treatment and control groups. Spirulina alga extract was affected on the treatment group and its toxicity was measured using MTT assay (compound 3-(4,5-Dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromidefor). The reference gene in this study was GAPDH. RNA was extracted from control and control cells and cDNA was made. The expression of genes was evaluated using ∆∆Ct in Real-time PCR. The result of MTT assay showed that the IC50 (Median Inhibition Concentration) value was 10.01 mg/ml for the 48 hour treatment. The result of Real-time PCR showed that the expression of Bcl-2 and the anti-apoptotic gene significantly decreased 3 folds in treatment group. Screening of PCs is carried out in the Iranian quality control plans as it is essential for detection of bacterial contamination. With regard to quality control, this study investigated the frequency of bacterial contamination of PCs through Gram staining and microbial culture methods. In per for in agar and agar under aerobic and microaerophilic for detection of both Gram positive and negative cocci and Gram positive bacteria. Cultures were also made in MacConkey medium under aerobic conditions to identify Gram negative bacilli. In cases of bacterial growth and colony formation, differential tests were performed to detect the bacteria. bags collected from donors in Jahrom Blood Transfusion Organization, from which two platelet cord (880 samples) had been isolated on the first and third days. Accordingly, a contamination frequency of 0.23% was detected for platelet products in Jahrom city. Aim of this study was to determine the pattern of antibiotic resistance and biofilm formation by Escherichia coli and Klebsiellapneumoniae isolated from urine of pregnant women in Kerman, Iran. 107 urine samples were collected from pregnant women. Identification was performed by biochemical tests. Antibiotic sensitivity by disc diffusion method and minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) by agar dilution method were performed. The cell surface hydrophobicity (CSH) behavior of those strains and their ability to form biofilm on glass and propylene surfaces was evaluated in static and shake conditions. The effect of antibiotics on biofilm formation ability was also determined on the catheter surface. From 80 positive cases, 35 isolates of Escherichia coli and 15 isolates of Klebsiella pneumoniae were selected for this research. The Maximum resistance and sensitivity of isolates were observed about amoxicillin and imipenem, respectively. All isolates with CSH higher than 70% showed better biofilm formation even though on propylene in shaking state.
