The maintainability of software products continues to attract people's attention. This paper proposes a new synthetic maintainability evaluation model basing on fuzzy entropy theory. In the model, the weight of different indexes is calculated by combining the entropy weight and expert weight. The entropy weight can be obtained through measuring the difference of membership degree of the index which reflects the consistency of the expert opinion. The evaluation result is more objective and reasonable. Our prototype system shows the image of graphical user interface on the palm and allows the user to have interaction with it using fingertip as they manipulate a common mobile device with stylus pen. We implemented this system using image processing technology and employed common projector and a networked PTZ camera. The feature of our prototype is that the system does not require user to wear any specific marker and not ask user to use additional device. Current EA approaches do not consider the behavioral patterns exhibited by stakeholders and the effects of change introduced by an EA. The failure to recognize and address the impact of stakeholder behavior as an input to, and result of, an EA manifests itself in the EA being either partially implemented or completely abandoned. This paper examines existing EA frameworks lack of recognition of stakeholder behavior as a first-class design consideration and proposes an approach incorporating ideas from the theory of structuration to address stakeholder behavior as a significant input to EA design. Although some major EAFs have been developed for more than a decade, information systems still fail to satisfy demands that organizations face and this reduces their competitive abilities. The failure may be due to the fact that either the right frameworks are not employed in architecture design or the EAFs are not complete to support specific architecture design. Organizations still have difficulties in identifying an appropriate EAF and the EAF perspectives and aspects suitable for their organizations. This paper claims that selecting the right EAF for architectural design plays a crucial role in system development as a first step in a process that turns a requirements specification into a working software and hardware system. At this rate, indexing video content manually for search and retrieval is getting increasingly difficult due to the high cost and time that it demands. In this paper, we propose a scheme for automatic annotation and indexing of video content with a goal of supporting efficient retrieval. The framework performs the annotation and indexing by operating on the key representative frames of a video sequence. The proposed framework broadly involves three major steps. The first step involves pre-processing, segmenting a video frame into objects and obtaining the boundary coordinates. In the second step, shape descriptors are computed by applying discrete Fourier transform on the centroid distance function. In the third and the last step, template based matching and fuzzy indexing of the video is performed. Simulations were carried out for evaluating the performance of both pre-processing and annotation using the database-MPEG7 CE Shape-1 Part B. To meet that demand, optically reconfigurable gate arrays (ORGAs) have been developed to achieve the fast dynamic reconfiguration. Among such studies, a MEMS ORGA has been developed. The reconfiguration can be executed not only by switching a laser array but also by switching a holographic memory. The first proposed MEMS ORGA took an analog fringe pattern for generating a configuration context, although the MEMS device is a binary spatial light modulator. The switching capability can therefore not be fully exploited from a MEMS device since a MEMS device requires PWM control for generating an analog fringe pattern. This paper presents a novel binary MEMS ORGA. The unexpectedness and unevenness of their distribution will make it difficult to use ”fundamental traffic, ” which is the conventional concept of???reference traffic, especially in Japan, based on the E.500 ITU-T???standardization series for network resource dimensioning. New radio access technologies are being intensively developed toward 4G, but the argument for traffic engineering is still insufficient. We propose a new model and new metric of reference traffic for handling such cases. The metric is called ”redundancy under general traffic in a closed network.” We also developed a calculation method approximated using a normal distribution.
