This approach has some deficiencies that stems from Aristotelian logic foundation behind the Vapnik Chervonenkis dimension. An alternative fuzzy logic approach is introduced that brings a concise definition of errors and complexity estimation of a learning machine. In contradiction to the statistical learning theory where errors are actually counted in the fuzzy logic approach errors are measured. It is necessary to include information about the distances of violations about the quality of prediction. The algorithm, which takes into account a model of a hybrid system described as MLD (mixed logical dynamical) system, is based on performance driven reachability analysis. The algorithm abstracts the behavior of the hybrid system by building a tree of evolution. Nodes of the tree represent reachable states of a process, and the branches connect two nodes if a transition exists between the corresponding states. To each node a cost function value is associated and based on this value, the tree exploration is driven. The system is built on several concepts used mainly in the computer graphics area (fluid simulator, particle system) and combustion simulation field (simplified combustion process model and heat transfer engine). Together they combine unique and original concepts that offer real-time simulation and visualization of the combustion process. The user may have immediate interaction during simulation and visualization - e.g. changing coal inlets and combustible properties and other input parameters during simulation. The system allows real-time monitoring of about 40 basic cell volume characteristics inside the boiler and 10 pulverized coal particle characteristics. All these features are available immediately, without needing to wait hours for complex calculations to finish. The task of the protection devices in electrical power systems (EPS) is to detect these faults and to eliminate the faulty parts of an EPS. In order to minimize the fault's consequences, different protection devices have to be coordinated. In this article, a computer-aided approach is described that should help project-planning engineers with this task and reduce the very time-consuming procedure of protection-strategy development and documentation preparation to a minimum. The main goal of the proposed concept is to make the tool as user-friendly as possible. The user communicates with a program system and device databases via a graphical user interface (GUI), which enables the visualization of a network. The clear graphical representation of the problem reduces the possibility of human errors. It calculates load share factors, i.e. the consumer shares in generator productions. Presented algorithm is appropriate for real and reactive power research and with small modifications, it can also be applied to allocation of production among consumers. A new tool for system operation and control promises to be effective for protection against voltage instability and transmission congestion management. It has been observed that addition of the C/sub 12/E/sub 8/ surfactant may increase the speed of membrane transformation, induce the formation of vesicle protrusions and reduce the lifespan of the POPC vesicles. In this paper we studied the influence of different concentrations of the C/sub 12/E/sub 8/ surfactant on the stability of the giant phospholipids vesicles and the speed of their disintegration. We have observed that at low concentrations of C/sub 12/E/sub 8/ the vesicles eventually adopt a stable shape with the daughter endovesicle and may remain in such state unchanged for at least two hours. At higher concentrations of C/sub 12/E/sub 8/ the vesicles gradually begin to shrink and disintegrate altogether within an hour after addition of the surfactant.
