ABSTRACT The prophetic and apostolic movements have produced God's servants who are called prophets and apostles (modern). The problem arises because not all schools of theology agree on the existence of prophets and apostles in the church, because in their view the era of the existence of prophets and apostles has ended with the completion of the scriptures. While other theological schools, hope that their presence will have a big positive impact on the church. The purpose of this study is to prove theologically, that the prophetic and apostolic movements have a true biblical basis, specifically based on Ephesians 2:20. The research begins with a literature review of books written by the pioneers of the prophetic and apostolic movements, which is then followed by a biblical exegesis study to examine what they conveyed.
