Using data obtained from documentation, direct observation, and interviews, this study analyzes with a phenomenological approach related to the living Qur'an. This study found that the tradition of reading Yasin 41 in Mustafawiyah has a reference base from a Syafi'iyah cleric named Sheikh Ahmad Al-Dairobi. The implementation ritual includes the preparation stage (preparing members and counting tools/gundal), the implementation stage (opening by reading istighfar, tawasul, reading yasin accompanied by moving the gundal and patting the right thigh with one pat), and the closing stage (reading a prayer). According to teachers and students who practice it, this ritual means the hope of salvation and prayer so that one's wishes will soon be granted. In addition, this ritual is also a practice of reviving and preserving the Qur'an at the Musthafawiyah Purbabaru Islamic Boarding School.","PeriodicalId":33507,"journal":{"name":"IJISH International Journal of Islamic Studies and Humanities","volume":"59 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"77240225","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The meaning of uli al-abṣār in the Qur’an is generally the same. The context of the verse also does not make a significant difference. The interpretation of uli al-abṣār leads to people with vision and the ability to think. Sayyid Quṭb, on the other hand, holds a different viewpoint. These differences cannot be separated from his intellectual journey and the character of his interpretation, Fī Dhilāl al-Qur’ān . His interpretation demonstrates that the heart plays an important role in drawing lessons from Allah's stories and verses. This paper will explain the concept of uli al-abṣār from Sayyid Quṭb’s interpretation. This study concludes that uli al-abṣār has four concepts: first, uli al-abṣār is not only associated with the zahir eye; second, uli al-abṣār is a person who consistently reads written verses and kauniyah; third, uli al-abṣār is the nature of the prophets; and fourth, uli al-abṣār is associated with good deeds.","PeriodicalId":33507,"journal":{"name":"IJISH International Journal of Islamic Studies and Humanities","volume":"5 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88618653","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose of this research is to examine whether the bank's intermediation function can become a mediator between third-party funds and non-performing financing on the profitability of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia. In addition, this research also examines the direct influence of third-party funds and non-performing financing on the intermediation function and profitability. Using time-series data for the period January 2013 to February 2021, with purposive sampling technique. The analytical method used is path analysis, with the Bootstrapping technique. The results of the research show that the intermediation function has not been able to significantly mediate third-party funds and non-performing financing on profitability. Meanwhile, the direct effect of third-party funds and non-performing financing on the intermediation function is significant. As for the direct influence between third-party funds, non-performing financing, and the intermediation function on profitability, only third-party funds, and non-performing financing are significant.","PeriodicalId":33507,"journal":{"name":"IJISH International Journal of Islamic Studies and Humanities","volume":"37 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81613699","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose of this study is to analyze the meaning of nasyiyah in the interpretation of Salman from a neo-science perspective. The development of neuroscience and Islamic education in this modern era is in line with the emergence of new findings, namely research about the meaning ( nasyiyah ) in the Qur'an which some commentators define as \"the crown\" (prefrontal cortex) . This research data is sourced through literature observations related to scientific journal descriptions as well as scrutiny of references to research works, both manually and digitally, which focus on discussing the meaning of nasyiyah in Surah Al-Alaq verses 15-16. This research is a literature study with a qualitative method. Research results prove that the meaning of nasyiyah is identical to the meaning (forehead). In Salman's interpretation, what is meant by the crown is the brain, especially the prefrontal cortex. From a neuroscience perspective, this section plays an important role in controlling emotions as an alternative and healthy memory in the long term, which affects the pattern of thought. Giving a picture of the minds of people who believe and those who turn away from their god, has broad implications for the development of Islamic education today.","PeriodicalId":33507,"journal":{"name":"IJISH International Journal of Islamic Studies and Humanities","volume":"18 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88898610","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the current global market conditions, both Muslim and nonMuslim producers are competing to develop products to get the Muslim market. In the company's competition to compete for consumer buying interest, it has been associated with brands and marketing methods. The researcher conducted an in-depth study and then formulated how the relationship between Islamic branding and digital marketing was. Then, why Islamic branding and digital marketing can be used as a strategy to attract consumer buying interest. This research is qualitative and uses a literature study approach. As a result, Islamic branding and digital marketing have a close relationship so that it can be used as a strategy in attracting consumer buying interest, especially Muslim consumers, considering the large Muslim market. Muslim producers who become business people must follow the current rapid technological developments to compete with other business actors, of course by using the concept of Islamic branding and digital marketing relations without eliminating the complete Islamic concept.","PeriodicalId":33507,"journal":{"name":"IJISH International Journal of Islamic Studies and Humanities","volume":"77 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88558649","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper reveals the methodology of interpretation of Abdullah Yusuf Ali in his work The Holy Qur'an: Text Translation and Commentary. To obtain a broader understanding of interpretation, the author uses a synchronic linguistic approach in its presentation. His work The Holy Qur'an is quite famous in the Muslim world because of the different interpretations he uses. Usually the commentators use Arabic in interpreting the Qur'an, but Abdullah Yusuf Ali uses English so that it is easier for Westerners to study the Qur'an. In addition, he writes touch and interpretation in a poetic style at expressing a wider meaning and beauty. He tries to translate and interpret the verse with a socio-spiritual experience in which in his vision there are various perspectives, including the mistakes of human perspective to the spiritual world.","PeriodicalId":33507,"journal":{"name":"IJISH International Journal of Islamic Studies and Humanities","volume":"151 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"72543878","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
