The purpose of the proposed article is the justification of the pedagogical aspect of working with hagiographic literature, with its emphasis on the semantic, ideological framework of hagiography to solve problems of spiritual and moral development and education of students in the lessons of the basics of the Orthodox Faith. Materials and methods. The leading research methods were the analysis and synthesis of information from contemporary scientific articles, historical and pedagogical literature, normative documents in the field of education, school textbooks; comparison of scientific ideas and concepts, pedagogical experience of the past and the present. Results. The article substantiates the importance of hagiographic literature for solving the problem of spiritual and moral development and education of schoolchildren. The authors of the article proceed from the fact that the task requires at the first stage of its solution the formation of value representations of students, which have a high degree of abstraction, uncertainty in the wording of the relevant concepts. These problems can be solved by hagiographic literature, illustrating in visual and verbal form spiritual and moral qualities of personality, values which are difficult to define precisely, but whose manifestations can be observed through thoughtful reading and analysis of hagiographic literature. The authors of the article offer readers an analysis of pre-revolutionary editions of hagiographic literature for children and focus on the diversity of modern books on the lives of saints, as well as features of the modern presentation of hagiographic text that complicates the work of the teacher and requires him to carefully select books in accordance with the tasks, age and individual characteristics of children. Also the authors offer a sequence and the maintenance of stages of work with hagiographic literature at a lesson with the purpose of realization of a knowledge component, the emphasis on relevance and simultaneously complexity of work on a conclusion of a moral conclusion from the read hagiography is made. Conclusions. The proposed ideas about the importance of hagiographic literature for the formation of ideas about the spiritual and moral qualities of personality and the value foundations of Christianity can be put into the development of a separate topic of scientific research related to the study of hagiographic literature in the pedagogical aspect. The article states that this vector makes it possible to understand spiritual education as an integrated polyfunctional concept, in which quality is ensured by the synthesis of dogmatic and creative vectors of development (according to V. A. Yasvin).Materials and methods. Based on the experience of a qualitative and substantive examination of the educational environment of the Penza Orthodox Theological Seminary, the conditions and opportunities for developing the ability to self-organize, increasing independence and responsibility in the learning process in a higher theological educational organization are revealed. The features of the adaptation of students of the zero and first years of study to the dogmatic and creative educational environment are described. The results of assessing the ability to self-organization of students of theological seminary studying in the field of study 48.03.01 \"Theology\" (undergraduate level), obtained using the questionnaire E. Yu. Mandrikova, are presented.Results. The article presents the experience of forming the educational environment of the theological school and describes the organizational and pedagogical conditions that contribute to self-organization at the stage of professional training of theologians. The results obtained indicate that the organizational independence of students is formed with a different view of the personality, which means that it allows building other learning strategies in a reasonable combination of strict rules of the dogmatic environment and elements of the creative environment with the possibility of building an individual development trajectory.Findings. The author highlights the motivational-value component as one of the priorities in the structure of the professional culture of the personality of the future music teacher. Russian sacred music is chosen as a means of influencing the motivational sphere of students and the professional culture of the future teacher in general. The paper defines the importance of the chosen means, emphasizes the special educational potential of Russian sacred music and the insufficiency of its use in the professional training of the future music teacher. The motivational-value component of the professional culture of the personality of the future music teacher is realized in the process of analyzing, performing and listening to Russian sacred music, and music is presented as a value of the world musical culture. The article presents the results of a study of the levels of the motivational-value component of the professional culture of a future music teacher. The author reveals the features of the study of Russian sacred music, presents the forms and methods of working with students, demonstrates the results of his work to increase the level of the motivational-value component of the students' professional culture. In all periods of Russian history, Orthodoxy has been the most important force of our people, which allowed us to form the worldview of citizens in a format beneficial to the state. And today it continues to play an important role in the life of Russian society, broadcasting traditional values – patriotism, faith in goodness, honor, striving to fulfill moral duty to the Motherland and family, personal dignity, justice, etc. Russian Russian Orthodoxy is the spiritual foundation of Russian culture, provides the national and cultural identity of our civilization, determining the behavior and thinking of the Russian people. The role of the Orthodox Church in the formation of a sense of patriotism is especially important.The educational potential of traditional spiritual and moral values, which are formed in a religious environment, should be used in the formation of a sense of patriotism among cadets of law enforcement agencies. This process is especially important because cadets are the basis of the command staff of power structures, and the main transmitting link for the transfer of spiritual and moral values to their subordinates. It is from the cadets of law enforcement agencies that the subjects of patriotism education in the system of working with personnel are formed in the future. The article analyzes the reasons for the successes and failures of patriotic education, reveals the peculiarities of the interaction of the Orthodox Church and law enforcement agencies in the education of patriotism. L. Rubinstein, the leader of Soviet human studies in the mid-twentieth century, and the contribution of his scientific school to the formation of this research center are analyzed. The relevance of the article is determined by the need to study the impact of this school on modern human knowledge. For it is still one of the largest in Russian psychology: seven of its main participants were elected full members or honorary academicians of the RAO, and three of them were directors of the NIOPP APN of the USSR and IPAN / IPRAN. The novelty of the article is that for the first time it systematically summarizes the personology of the life creation of S.L. Rubinstein and a number of participants of his school in the institutional conditions of the development of psychology of the Soviet/post-Soviet period. The cultural and creative achievements of the founder and participants of the school in the study of general and pedagogical psychology of abilities, giftedness, thinking, personality, social interactions and education in a number of leading scientific and university institutions (LGPU, MSU, PI RAO, IFAN, IIEiT, IP RAS) are characterized. The constructive role of cognitive and organizational activity of S. L. The first part of the article is devoted to the substantiation of the term \"Church History\", its relation to history as a science, as well as its place among other fields of sciences. The historical retrospective reveals the emergence and development of the subject of the God's Law in Russian schools and its structure, in which several sections were distinguished, among which were studied: catechism, the doctrine of worship, prayers, Sacred history and Church History, which was considered a continuation and complement of the latter. The main content of the article outlines the purpose, objectives, significance and some methodological features of the study of Church history in the pre-revolutionary period, which were a kind of basis for the development of the study of Church history in modern Orthodox schools in Russia. In the final part, the author gives an overview of the main manuals on Church history in the pre-revolutionary and modern period, identifies modern curricula and other individual aspects directly related to the teaching of Church history in Orthodox schools, such as the psychological and pedagogical characteristics of students studying the section of Church history and interdisciplinary connections. The formation of educational literature in Russia fixed the tradition of reflecting the purpose of the book on the very first pages, so that students could understand what result they should come to in the learning process. Over the course of several centuries, this practice has undergone changes, which has become the subject of research in this article. Thus, the first educational books were a reflection of the global social and political processes taking place in the surrounding reality. The most noticeable changes are connected with the ongoing secularization, when the spiritual and moral principle was gradually ousted from education. Preserving in many respects the general structural plan, the first educational books gradually acquired purely didactic forms. Structurally, the article consists of two parts, in the first one a brief overview of the periodization of publications is made with the highlighting of the main features, primarily related to the reflection of the educational goal, in the second - the identified features are considered on specific examples. Zenkovsky’s Christian-anthropological concept of education was revealed. The conceptual core includes ideas: Christian anthropology, Orthodox culture, holistic synthesis. These ideas determine the content of the basic pedagogical concepts, the goals of education, the principles and content of education.Person in the Christian-anthropological concept of education V.V. Zenkovsky is the bearer of the Image Divine, the main expression of which is the beginning of personality. Education in the concept of the scientist is defined as helping the child in individual spiritual growth, in revealing the the Image Divine and mastering the “gift” of freedom through churching. The goal of education is to restore the integrity of a person.The following principles of the Christian-anthropological concept are defined: recognition of the Image Divine as the beginning of personality; Christocentricity; a holistic personality; hierarchies in the human constitution; individuality; catholicity; freedom; churching. The content of education in the concept of V.V. Zenkovsky covers all aspects of a person and includes: religious, intellectual, physical, education of discipline, moral, aesthetic, sexual, social, national education. Religious education has a priority among other directions, as it is aimed at developing the spiritual sphere of the individual, which has primacy over the psychophysical in accordance with the principle of hierarchy in the human constitution.","PeriodicalId":334788,"journal":{"name":"St. Tikhons' University Review.
