It is noted that a new round of interest in the ideas of the great Russian teacher is due to conceptual changes in domestic education, understanding the problems and priorities of its development, and the search for new models and strategies for pedagogical interaction. The object of the study is the problems of man, dialogue and artistic creativity in the legacy of Ushinsky and in modern psychological practice. The influence of the ideas of Ushinsky is noted both in the course of accumulation and systematization of knowledge about a person, and in the process of building psychological anthropology. It is considered how the problem of the influence of one personality on another in the legacy of Ushinsky develops in the dialogical approach of T.A.Florenskaya, based on the spiritual and moral guidelines that have been established over the centuries and are inextricably linked with the traditions of Russian philosophical thought. Particular attention is paid to dialogue, which is understood as a creative, spiritually transformative communication. The constitutive principles and basic concepts of a spiritually oriented dialogue are considered. The vector of personal development of a person in the conditions of internal dialogue is indicated and the consequences in the situation of its deformation are named. The influence of Ushinsky's idea about the role of artistic creativity on modern art therapy practice, which combines various types of art with therapeutic, correctional and developmental goals, is shown. The reasons why artistic creativity is necessary for the full personal development of the child are listed. It is concluded that the problems of a person, dialogue, artistic creativity, which worried the great Russian teacher, remain the epicenter in the field of modern scientific and practical research. The purpose of this study is to comprehend and substantiate the cognitive tasks of the environmental content of the academic subject «Geography» for the successful education of schoolchildren's careful attitude to nature. The essence of the concept of «cognitive task» is clari-fied. The relevance of the pedagogical search in the problem field of education of a careful atti-tude to the nature of the potential of the subject «Geography» is substantiated. Attention is fo-cused on mastering the issues of «co-creation of man and nature for the sustainable development of society» (N.N. Moiseev) in the course of geography of the main school by means of cognitive tasks of environmental content. Four groups of cognitive tasks have been identified: determining the meaning of nature, identifying ways to use nature by man, mastering the directions for trans-forming nature, and implementing measures to protect nature. Examples of tasks for the education of environmentally-oriented foundations of value-based knowledge of nature by schoolchildren are given. The results obtained indicate that the education of a caring attitude towards nature by means of cognitive tasks allows one to build strategies in understanding one's role as a citizen and consumer in the context of the interconnection of natural, technological and social environments.","PeriodicalId":334788,"journal":{"name":"St. Tikhons' University Review. For the first time, the periodization of his life creation in the socio-cultural conditions of the interrelation of external institutional and internal personological determinants determining the formation of the subject of scientific activity and the productivity of his self-realization in the scientific study of history and in the development of a comprehensive methodology of modern psychological cognition has been developed. The system-forming role of the interrelation of formal and informal communications in the formation of professional self-consciousness of the subject of scientific creativity is shown. The interrelation of formal and informal communications in the formation of the professional formation of the subject of scientific creativity is shown. Formal communications were carried out in the institutional space of V.V. Umrikhin's professional education as a student (at the Faculty of Psychology of Moscow State University – Lomonosov Moscow State University) and a graduate student (in the sector of social psychology of science, headed by the scientific supervisor of his diploma and dissertation research, the leading Russian historian of psychology M.G. Yaroshevsky) of the Institute of the History of Natural Science and Technology (IIEiT) of the USSR Academy of Sciences named after S. I. Vavilov, as well as research activities both in this sector and in parallel – teaching the history and theory of human studies at the Departments of General Psychology of Moscow State University and the Orthodox Humanitarian University. V.V. Umrikhin's informal communications were carried out by him with MSU students and IIEiT graduate students who participated in the system-methodological circle on reflexive psychology of creativity, led by I. N. Semenov in the Scientific Student Society of the Faculty of Psychology of Moscow State University and in the All-Union Section \"Psychology of Creativity\", which worked under the chairmanship of Ya. A. Ponomarev on the basis of the Institute of Psychology of the USSR Academy of Sciences. The development of this course took place within the framework of the Project \"DNA of Russia\", implemented with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. A significant event for teachers of humanities in September 2023 was the release of textbooks and methodological manuals \"Fundamentals of Russian Statehood\". The course differs in content and functionality from the generally accepted complex of humanitarian subjects in higher school. There are still disputes between philosophers, historians, political scientists, economists about its information content, but all experts agree on the recognition of the need to update the content and revise the principles of teaching social and humanitarian disciplines, which are read not only in the humanities, but also in technical universities. The challenges of the current time in the field of education require an adequate response from the academic community of higher education - the use of new forms of comprehension of factual material and the organization of cognitive activity of students, filling these forms with new meanings, including educational spiritual and patriotic potential. The purpose of this study is to comprehend the prospects for the formation of students' ideas about the formation of Russian statehood through the prism of Christian ideals. Short–term singing courses are one of the forms of musical and pedagogical education, which was widespread in Russia in late XIX - early XX century. The organizers of the courses and teachers at them were famous musical figures. The purpose of this article is to expand information about church singing courses in Russia and the musical and pedagogical activities of A.N.Karasev. Karasev, an outstanding music teacher, regent and author of numerous manuals on church singing, was invited to Vyatka to organize folk singing activities. During 1903 and 1904, he organized three streams of singing courses in the city. The main objectives of the courses were to train the leaders of folk choirs for the Vyatka province and to train teachers to teach church singing in schools. Teachers and regents from different counties of the Vyatka province came to the courses. There were no professional musicians among them. During the courses, students studied music theory, learned to sing by notes, trained to manage a choir, studied spiritual and secular chants, and learned to play the violin. Theoretical classes were closely connected with practice. In total, about 300 people were trained at the courses. Students of the courses have achieved great success in a relatively short time. Their achievements are confirmed by the results of final exams, surveys about their subsequent activities, testimonies of clergy and people who checked schools. The article discusses in detail the circumstances of the emergence of courses, as well as some organizational and pedagogical features. Vyatka singing courses are an example of a regional musical and pedagogical initiative, the successful implementation of which became possible thanks to the support of representatives of state, church and educational institutions, the pedagogical system and the work of the course leader, the motivation of the listeners.","PeriodicalId":334788,"journal":{"name":"St. Tikhons' University Review. A grandiose state project was launched in the country to educate a new person and develop universal aesthetic and museum literacy, which led to the museum boom of the 60-70s. The scientific result of the educational activity was the emergence of a new direction in art criticism, focused on the explanation of fine art to an unprepared viewer. The author of the article calls this direction \"ethical\", since its distinctive feature was the assertion of the ethics of art and science about it. The scientists set and solved the task of studying various social groups and developing a language understandable to everyone, teaching perception and understanding of works of art, the development of aesthetic sense and visual intelligence. The art historians of the Russian Museum justified the need to involve various psychological techniques to include art in the lives of as many people as possible, for which the first department of socio-psychological research in the USSR was established in 1974. When studying the concept of ethical art criticism, parallels with the ideas of organic criticism of Apollon Grigoriev, which are considered in the article, are vividly highlighted. A book for teachers», a comparative analysis of modern requirements for a teacher-mentor and the requirements for him by K.D. Ushinsky, generalization of research results and formulation of conclusions. The article reveals the stages of research: analysis of the works of K.D. Ushinsky «A guide to teaching on the «Native word», «The project of the teachers' seminary», «Preface to the first volume of \"Pedagogical Anthropology», «Native word. A book for teachers», a comparative analysis of modern requirements for a teacher-mentor and the requirements for him by K.D. Ushinsky, generalization of research results and formulation of conclusions. The article analyzes the pedagogical works of K.D. Ushinsky and describes his requirements for a mentor as a teacher and educator, reveals the modern understanding of mentoring by the authors as professional support of a young (novice) teacher by a more experienced mentor colleague. K.D. Ushinsky in the «Guide to teaching on the «Native Word» imposes special requirements on the mentor – primary school teacher – awareness of mastering the native language, correct, literate speech, learning to understand oral and written speech, teaching students to express their thoughts in writing. In the «Teacher's Seminary Project», K.D. Ushinsky points out that a mentor should have not only professional knowledge, but also skills, as well as readiness to carry out his duties. According to K.D. Ushinsky, a teacher-mentor should have patience and special knowledge, as well as pedagogical tact and experience. K.D. Ushinsky places high demands on a teacher-mentor. The social sharing of emotions can be defined as the expression of emotions in a socially accepted way – in a socially shared language. Having considered foreign studies devoted to this phenomenon, we have built a model of social sharing of emotions, which included the figures of interlocutors, mechanism, causes, functions, types, orientation, forms. The social sharing of emotions is carried out between two or more persons in written, oral, verbal, nonverbal, auditory, visual, theatrical form, the form of internal speech, performs socio-affective and cognitive functions, has a socio-affective or cognitive orientation, is divided into primary, secondary, tertiary. The sharing of emotions occurs not only because of the emotions themselves, but also in connection with thoughts, mental images, the desire to reduce cognitive dissonance, to cognitive integration. The mechanism of social sharing of emotions is as follows: emotions that have arisen in connection with an event retain their intensity and continue to influence a person, encouraging him to share feelings; sharing emotions with others reduces the painfulness of emotional experience.","PeriodicalId":334788,"journal":{"name":"St. Tikhons' University Review. The tasks of developing the skills of oral and written communication in the target language, expanding the horizons of students by getting to know a new culture and developing general erudition, as well as the formation of critical thinking, a deep and comprehensive study of the native culture for a worthy translation of its values into the world become the priority. The article analyzes the results of a survey of students about their ideas about what an ideal teacher should be. A modern teacher cannot be limited to tasks of an exclusively didactic nature, but must follow the development of the neurosciences that study the activity of the brain in order to effectively use methods and techniques that stimulate cognitive processes in the process of learning foreign languages. It is also necessary to take into account changes affecting the motivational attitudes of the audience and its ability to perceive information. The main change was the significantly increased need of students for the psychological support of the teacher, in a more friendly, open and emotionally balanced environment; the survey showed a desire to see a teacher who is not only passionate about his work, but also able to interest students who are not always motivated and are largely stressed. In a constantly changing world, the treasures of native culture remain unchanged and stable values that can expand the horizons of knowledge and provide strong guidelines for professional activity, the transmission of which to the world gives a special meaning to the study of foreign languages and brings the mission of a teacher to a qualitatively different level.","PeriodicalId":334788,"journal":{"name":"St. Tikhons' University Review. The use of statistical, comparative, as well as interviewing methods, conversations and analysis of materials from official websites, reports on the activities of Orthodox schools, information provided by directors, teachers and employees of Orthodox secondary schools, made it possible to establish the following. Orthodox general secondary schools undergo state licensing and accreditation procedures and are required to conduct educational activities in accordance with the basic component of the Federal State Educational Standards. To implement the religious component as part of the main educational programs and to be included in the register of Orthodox schools, it is necessary to obtain a confessional representation of the Russian Orthodox Church. Control and verification of the level and quality of training of students, their final performance in the subjects of the Orthodox cycle is carried out by the Synodal Department of Religious Education and Catechization of the Russian Orthodox Church. The Standard of the Orthodox component of primary general, basic general, secondary (complete) general education for educational institutions of the Russian Federation presents the requirements for the results of mastering the Orthodox component. The Orthodox general education schools that exist today perform the function of meeting the educational needs of Orthodox believers, the function of including students in Orthodox culture through the introduction of the Orthodox component into the main educational programs of general education and the implementation of the sacral component of spiritual and moral education.","PeriodicalId":334788,"journal":{"name":"St. Tikhons' University Review.
