The values of life on which the affirmation and vitality of the individual are based are revealed in the aesthetic and ethical spheres. In the sphere of the aesthetic – it is an experience of beauty and magnificence, in the sphere of the ethical – it is love, faithfulness, dedication and cheerfulness, which are based at the active attitude of a person. Thus, ethos is closely connected with eros. The latter is used in the article in the sense of a strong, passionate AESTHETIC (rather than physiological or psycho-physiological) feeling. The aim of this work is to investigate the interconnection of ethos and eros in the life of a prominent figure of Ukrainian musical culture, Mykola Lysenko (1842-1912). The methodology of the research is to combine the cultural-historical method (elucidating the life and work of the composer through the prism of the aesthetic and ethical spheres), the method of analysis of scientific literature on the problem (to identify the degree of its development and prospects for further exploration), epistolary analysis and methods of personology (biographical and cultural-psychological reconstruction). The scientific novelty of the article is due to the fact that for the first time M. Lysenko’s spiritual world, in which ethos and eros interacted organically, is considered as a factor that had a profound effect on his musical creativity. This, in particular, has been embodied in the vocal works (solo songs) that make up the gold fund of Ukrainian musical art. Conclusions. The proposed research draws attention to the personal life of the composer, his value orientations and emotional states, in particular to the feeling of love for a woman. The results of the study make it possible to rethink the heritage of the national music culture in the context of the personality problem.","PeriodicalId":33441,"journal":{"name":"Visnik Kiyivs''kogo natsional''nogo universitetu kul''turi i mistetstv Seriia Muzichne mistetstvo","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41771450","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Among them – a video clip as a specific form of hit’s incarnation and an artiste’s image as a communicative feature of the phenomenon’s existence. The ascertainment of these aspects is the main objective of the study. The logic of achieving this objective led to the choice such a methodology: the method of analyzing scientific literature on the problem (to determine the degree of its elaboration and the prospect of further exploration), the method of intonation analysis (in the study of the musical language’s features and the principles of composition’s organization), the functional method (aimed at studying the degree of subject’s dependence on audience’s socio-cultural inquiries), the communicative method (that allows take into consideration the factor of the compositions’ existence in the public consciousness, the audience’s reaction to them and artiste’s personality), the comparative method (to study the genre and intonation and also the individual image components of the song hit). The song hit aims to reach the widest possible audience so this fact dues to the presence of such components as a media virus and a meme in its structure. They are directed at appealing to psychological “sensitive points”, the rooting in the mind and the causing of their further distribution, they can be found at all the song hit’s levels and they aim at the comprehensive coverage of the listener/viewer. Results. The song hit’s communicative nature determines the significance of its visual component represented by the video clip. In addition to the representative function, this embodiment is the most effective media virus tool. Moreover, the hit’s promoting, the marketing nature extends to its performer’s competitiveness. This aspect involves the obligatory presence the viral properties in the image, which can cause the audience’s emotional response. The artiste’s representative function necessitates constant and purposeful work on his image.","PeriodicalId":33441,"journal":{"name":"Visnik Kiyivs''kogo natsional''nogo universitetu kul''turi i mistetstv Seriia Muzichne mistetstvo","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45729520","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research is related to the issue of the specificity of the existence of Slovak-Ukrainian song folklore on the territory of Eastern Slovakia, the disclosure of the issue of the functioning of the «Makovytska Struna» song festival. The methodology of the research is to combine the methods of cognition due to the requirements of the objective analysis of historical sources, which reflect the main tendencies of the development and functioning of the cultural and artistic life of the Ukrainians of the Region of the second half of the ХХth – the beginning of the ХХІst century. Scientific novelty of the work consists in the comprehensive coverage of the Slovak-Ukrainian song ties. The interconnection between Ukrainian song and Slovak folk songs is one of the priorities of folklorists and musicologists in our time. Conclusions. It is proved that the study of ethnic history, features of the song folklore of the Ukrainian population in various fields is one of the main issues of the present. The joint ethnographic boundary between the Ukrainian and Slovak populations in the Transcarpathian region and the Presov (Eastern Slovakia) region contributed to the cultural, economic and folkloric ties between them. In the process of transformation of the forms of the existence of folk song culture and ritualism, as well as the interaction of song tradition and new creation, in particular, associated with the influence of the ingratiation of modern culture of Rusyn-Ukrainians, it was discovered that whole figurative and poetic cliches are taken from the Slovak folklore in local Rusyn production; all that is special in the content and form of Lemko and Rusyn folklore does not separate them from the general array of traditional musical-song and verbal literature of the Ukrainian people does not isolate them, but rather complements enriches this array with unique elements and features. Folk festivals of Rusyn-Ukrainians, despite the processes of assimilation, are extremely popular in the modern period among the Ukrainian population of Slovakia.","PeriodicalId":33441,"journal":{"name":"Visnik Kiyivs''kogo natsional''nogo universitetu kul''turi i mistetstv Seriia Muzichne mistetstvo","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46912859","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
