First a GT-power model of the gasoline engine with EGR system was built and verified. Then a PID controller was built using Simulink/Matlab and coupled with the GT-power engine model. A suitable tuning strategy for the PID controllers is also developed. Its response characteristics and performance are investigated in details. During the flow process of Data Matrix barcode decoding, barcode localization is the first and non-trivial step for the latter steps, like affine transformation adjustment, fine-level foreground region extraction etc. In this paper, an innovative method for Data Matrix barcode localization based on boundary tracking and Radon transform was proposed. The superiority of the proposed method lies in three-folds: 1) it is independent of geometrical constrains of the shape of the barcode region; 2) boundary tracking is performed hierarchically with heuristic rules without complicated predicting method; 3) the points for operating Random transform can be initiated after edge tracking to save computational complexity. Bullwhip effect amplifies the demand, boosts the inventory and increases the total cost of the supply chain. In order to decrease the stock and improve the efficiency of the supply chain, this paper studies the bullwhip effect on the inventory of three-stage supply chain with and without risk pooling respectively. Through derivation it proves that risk pooling can reduce both safety stock and average inventory of three-stage supply chain whether the three warehouses’ demands are correlated or not. Statistical analysis was carried out on 191 valid questionnaires concerning the general opinion on the impact of light pollution at sea on ship navigation safety at night, as well as feelings of navigators with different age and positions about light pollution at sea. Detailed analysis was given to the relation between ship navigation safety at night and the impact by light pollution at sea on human visual ergonomics and identifiability of signal lights. However, from 3 dimensional point of view, it is far away from the fact that the effect is come from many points along the rail while the trains move through rapidly. Two-step is defined to simulate environmental vibration. In the first step, the train-track system is simplified as a series of subsystems. Taking into account the track power irregularity, each subgrade reaction under ballast block was calculated when trains move on the track. All the forces constitute point source array to simulate the source. In the second step, the foundation is simulated as isotropic layered media, combined with artificial boundary conditions in the calculation border region, using the decoupling finite element method to calculate the surface environmental vibration. The simulation result was compared with those from field observation in Beijing, China. Secondly, the paper considers the impact on the multiindex decision, establishes the standard index decision-making matrix and positive-negative ideal solution decision-making matrix, and researches the analyzing model for transport network optimization which takes the objective functions as set of indexes and alternatives as set of domain by quantitative analysis according to the TOPSIS. According to the cumulative prospect theory and gray relational analysis, the prospect value function is defined, an optimization model is built, the optimum weight vector is solved, and the order of the program is determined. The merits of the ROIC include small layout area, CTIA (capacitive transimpedance amplifier) integrator, selectable integration capacitors, adjustable operation bandwidth and anti-blooming. Through the snapshot mode and adjustable integration time from 1µs to 33ms (calculated by 30Hz frame frequency), the dynamic range can be extended efficiently, which provides high and low background operation abilities to the whole system. Based on the Gray code theory, random window access, dynamic image transposition, and 1, 2, 4 selectable channel outputs, can be realized by digital control circuits of the ROIC. The 32×32 array with pixel area of 30×30µm2 was successfully manufactured by 0.35µmCMOS process of HHNEC.
