Repensar la práctica docente y centrarse en el alumno, implica brindarle a este último un rol activo en su aprendizaje, permitiendo el desarrollo de competencias transversales cómo la autogestión del tiempo, la autoevaluación de su desempeño y el trabajo colaborativo entre pares, con el objetivo de que desarrolle la capacidad de planificar y ser protagonista de su formación, preparándose para un aprendizaje a lo largo de la vida que le permita responder a problemas reales y complejos. El siguiente trabajo de investigación plantea el uso de la Metodología de Pensamiento en Diseño, como una de las metodologías activas y factibles a ser utilizadas para promover el desarrollo de competencias en el ámbito de la ingeniería, que supone una manera de resolver problemas reduciendo riesgos y aumentando las posibilidades de éxito. Empieza centrándose en las necesidades humanas y a partir de ahí, observa, crea prototipos y los prueba, consigue conectar conocimientos de diversas disciplinas (psicología, sociología, marketing, ingeniería, entre otros.) para llegar a una solución humanamente deseable, técnicamente viable y económicamente rentable. Cuisano, Solin Puma","doi":"10.54749/ejeerv4n1-002","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.54749/ejeerv4n1-002","url":null,"abstract":"The effects of anhydrous ethanol (E) and castor oil (R) mixed with diesel fuel (D), commercially containing 5% biodiesel by volume, were researched experimentally to evaluate the combustion process and specific fuel consumption in a compression ignition engine, supercharged, six cylinders. In total, three mixtures were used, varying the diesel content from 95% (D95) to 80% v/v (D85), obtaining the following compositions: D95B0E0, D85B6E9 and D80B6.5E13.5. The experimental tests were performed in stationary conditions (1000 and 1800 rpm), two values of effective torque (80, and 160N.m) and two conditions of intake air pressure (100 and 80 kPa). The results obtained show that the mixtures containing ethanol and biodiesel lead to an early start of combustion at 1000 rpm and a delay at the start of combustion at 1800 rpm. The increase in ethanol and biodiesel over commercial fuel does not have any influence on specific fuel consumption; however, the altitude effect generates an increase in specific fuel consumption up to 11% and 7% at 1000 rpm and 1800 rpm respectively. The specific emissions of NOX, CO and CO2are increased with higher specific fuel consumption; in addition, the effect of simulated altitude allowed to verify that at higher altitudes there is a slight increase in sfc and EE of CO and CO2, together with a reduction in EE NOX. At 2000 m of simulated altitude (APCI = 80 kPa) the maximum increases of sfc, CO and CO2, with the mixture D80B6.5E13.5, were 5%, 122% and 18%, respectively. We follow this structure for so long now because it is very efficient to allocating resources, performing coordination activities, and building relationships. However, potentially disruptive technologies such as Blockchain Technology (BCT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Internet of Things (IoT) have the potential to transform the centralized agri-food supply chain networks (SCN) into decentralized digital ecosystems, which will impact business processes and workflows alike. Still today the traditional agri-food SCN is characterized by a pyramid-hierarchic structure where decisions are being made by a central authority. It is typically headed by a focal firm which is responsible for the coordination of the network while determining the strategy and goals of the SCN. We investigated BCT use cases both in the agri-food industry and across several industries. Our literature- and use case-based research unveiled that supply chain use cases which have significantly higher operational implementations compared to their peers exhibit predominantly the following characteristics: they operate in a vertically coordinated ecosystem, they are dominated by a focal firm, and participation of suppliers is mandated by a central authority. The use cases displaying the mentioned characteristics have been found predominantly with consortium type of BCT platform implementations. O cenário atual caracterizado pela globalização e escassez de recursos, os fabricantes estão desenvolvendo ferramentas para medição do desempenho através do monitoramento online como autoajuste, controle de máquina e otimização de energia. Neste cenário a otimização da energia tornou-se foco principal da produção industrial com busca pela melhoria para o auto-ajuste, controle e otimização de máquina permitindo a transformação digital para a fábrica inteligente. A usinabilidade trás o conceito para facilitar com que esse material passa ser trabalhado de forma mais eficiente. O estudo da pesquisa foca nas aplicações de monitoramento online por meio da energia específica de corte na usinalidade do ferro fundido cinzento. O método proposto empenha a aplicação de um experimento para coleta e análise através de um dinamômetro piezoelétrico e de um tacômetro para a medição direta da potência de corte e pela medição da potência elétrica com o auxílio de um wattímetro. Os ensaios foram baseados no torneamento cilíndrico de corpo de prova de ferro fundido cinzento com ferramentas de metal duro. Design / Methodology / Approach: Due to economic issues, there was significant increase in cost with materials, low availability of credit for investment, the companies saw the opportunity for adoption and implementation of the lean production system and the green production system. The A3 Report method for problem solving was applied as the basis for research. The mindset behind the A3 method is divided into five sections for solving the definition of the business requirement, current conditions; the target situation; action plans and indicators. It must be said that this adoption makes possible not only the reduction of waste and quality improvement, but also the competitive advantage and greater profitability of the invested capital. Results: The results showed with the implementations of the countermeasures have generated reduction of cost with the transportation and destination of the organic waste and began to generate revenues with the sale of recyclables making possible to the sustainability in the transformation of environmental liabilities into economic assets. Limitations of the investigation: The research only portrays the disposal of waste from the company of collective meals. Although the entire operation is in accordance with the country's environmental regulations, it was decided to replace the company name with the choice of a fictitious name, \"The Collective Food Industry\". Practical implications: The world is going through a new industrial revolution and this fact makes it necessary for companies to proactively manage their resources.
