The decomposition rate of paracetamol increases when the temperature is raised and if it is exposed to light directly. The habit of people in storing drugs after the packaging is opened and will be used again raises concerns about the quality of the drugs contained in the drug. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of paracetamol stored at room temperature and chiller temperature using the High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) method. The study was conducted by testing the levels of paracetamol syrup on the first day and after being stored for three days. Samples were divided into two groups of storage temperatures, room temperature and chiller temperature. The HPLC system used is the L1 column, the mobile phase water-methanol P mixture (3: 1), the flow rate 1.5. The average paracetamol levels at day 1 storage at room temperature and chiller temperature were 104.61% and 102.38%. The average paracetamol levels at day 3 storage at room temperature and chiller temperature were 102, 44% and 98.81%. Storage of paracetamol syrup at the chiller temperature produces smaller levels than at room temperature. Storage for three days shows a significant decrease in levels both at room temperature or chiller temperature (pvalue <0.05).","PeriodicalId":333392,"journal":{"name":"SANITAS : Jurnal Teknologi dan Seni Kesehatan","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115367019","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therapeutic devices are also very much needed to cure facial stiffness besides of giving medicines. One of the most widely used therapies is warm therapy, however, this therapy takes a long time and quite expensive too. This research proposed a simple and affordable bell’s palsy therapy device use LED temperature heating media and a time controller based on the microcontroller ATMega 8535. The test is carried out at a time and temperature series, the result shows the circuit accuracy reaches 100% on a 15-minutes test. Testing on temperature stability also showed achieving a stable temperature at 420C in the 15 minutes. Device function tests are only carried out at a time and temperature series, the patient safety test has not been carried out. Defect or loss of the ear can be caused by birth defects, acquired diseases or accidents. So, it takes a prosthese that functions to replace the lossing ear part, namely auricular prosthesis, so that the patient will feel confident again with his appearance. Temporary prosthesis is an alternative method that can be used in the short term before the use of a permanent prosthesis (definitive prosthesis). The purpose of this paper is to find out how to make temporary auricular prosthesis acrylic resin with retention eyeglasses to improve aestetics in patient with ear loss case. The method used is a case study (model) which is conventionally made, with moulding using donor techniques. In making temporary auricular prosthesis consists of several stages starting from the acceptance of the work model, the making of the wax pattern, flasking, boiling out, coloring, packing, curing, deflasking, finishing, polishing and sticking of retention. The results obtained are temporary auricular prosthesis can sticking well with eyeglasses stalks, there is no porous, the color does not match the work order and the polishing results are less smooth but quite shiny. The conclusion is that temporary auricular prosthesis in cases of repair of ear defects can be made using acrylic resin with mechanical retention of eyeglasses.","PeriodicalId":333392,"journal":{"name":"SANITAS : Jurnal Teknologi dan Seni Kesehatan","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130471321","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
