To assess the impact of intense algal blooms in the water of the Argun River, a 956 km long section from the city of Khailar (China) to the village of Argunsk (Russia) was selected for the time period from May to October 2020, corresponding to the growing season. Based on the analysis of spatio-temporal changes in the surface algal bloom index (SABI), the main areas of eutrophication and time intervals of the greatest deterioration in the quality of the waters of the Argun River were identified. The maximum values of the SABI index indicate the development of algae near the water surface, and low or negative values are an indicator of the development of algae in the deeper layers of the water column, or their absence. It is noted that the SABI index is best suited for assessing the intensity of blooming of river water, which does not have a significant depth, in cases of predominantly superficial concentration of algae. In order to separate the mask of the water surface of the river to ensure the extraction of the SABI index only from the pixels related to the water body, the spectral water index MNDWI was used, the positive values of which indicate belonging to the water surface. To assess the possible sources of algae biomass entry into river waters, a comparative analysis of SABI changes in the system of floodplain lakes along the Argun River – Khara-Nur, Burgat-Nur, Khuretuy, Bara-Nur, Pandza-Nur, Khorubo-Nur, Hulun Lake located in China, was carried out","PeriodicalId":332716,"journal":{"name":"Transbaikal State University Journal","volume":"58 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126658171","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The subject of the study is the direction of flow at the top and bottom of the lower mantle. It is determined under the known geodynamic structure in the upper mantle, the known direction of the flow at its roof and in the presence of a lifting flow in the mid-ocean ridge area. The aim of the study is to reveal the character of interaction between the upper and lower mantle large-scale free flowing cells. At the upper-lower mantle boundary, two types of interaction of upper- and lower-mantle flows are possible: either unidirectional flows - cocurrent flow, or oppositely directed - counterflow. Horizontal large-scale currents at the 670 km boundary are a consequence of the horizontal temperature gradient under conditions of free convection. Heat transfer from the flow interface occurs under conditions of free convection, and the intensity of heat transfer at this boundary is determined by the vertical temperature gradient. The analysis of heat transfer in upper-mantle and lower-mantle flows at the 670 km boundary with cocurrent flow and counterflow is presented. The decrease in the average flow temperature for the lower mantle thermal boundary layer near the 670 km boundary with a counterflow at this boundary is estimated. The density and temperature differences in the mantle under the continent and the ocean, providing an excess of the surface level of the continent above the level of the ocean floor, equal to 7 km, are presented. Comparison of the estimated characteristic temperature difference with data on heat flows in the mantle under the ocean and the continent leads to the conclusion that there is a cocurrent flow of upper mantle and lower mantle flows at the 670 km boundary. The influence of the cocurrent flow at the 670 km boundary on the structure of large-scale mantle flows is analyzed. For two different situations of interaction of upper mantle flows under the ocean with the mantle under the continent, large-scale flows in the upper and lower mantle are presented","PeriodicalId":332716,"journal":{"name":"Transbaikal State University Journal","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122380175","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

BAT manuals, for example, for the mining industry are basic documents that provide a step-by-step description of BAT, ensuring compliance with obligatory environmental performance indicators. However, these are isolated, unrelated short versions that do not allow for a comprehensive solution to the problems of available mineral resources (AMR) deficit and reduction of environmental degradation risks. To solve the above problems, it is necessary to develop an integrated system for the disposal of man-made waste from mining and mining processing enterprises, geographically united, in order to identify, select effective technologies from alternative proposals and their implementation. The purpose of the study is to develop an integrated system for the disposal of technogenic waste from mining enterprises that are geographically united. Research objectives: study of waste disposal facilities included in the State Register of the Russian Federation; development of a technological scheme for the joint processing of technogenic raw materials of various types; development of a stationary cuvette for year-round heap leaching (KV) of gold in the cryolithozone; conducting experimental studies of KV gold with an effective reagent complex; development of an integrated industrial system for the disposal of technogenic waste from mining enterprises, geographically united; development of alternative options for the production of gold in order to choose an effective technology, depending on the nature of gold mineralization and the form of finding the precious metal in man-made waste. The authors have scientifically substantiated and developed the variants of the integrated industrial system of the closed cycle, using mobile operatively tunable flow lines consisting of independent modules for technogenic waste processing of Darasunsky mine - the enterprise for extraction and ore enrichment of Darasunsky, Teremkinsky and Talatuysky gold deposits (Tungokochensky and Transbaikal regions). According to the cadastre of technogenic accumulations, the sources of mine wastes with the volume of 14410.2 thousand tons are waste dumps of overburden rocks and poor ores, technogenic raw materials of tailing dumps, other accumulations of technogenic raw materials. Experimental studies of gold heap leaching (HL) by the reagent complex including solutions of sodium cyanide and hydrogen peroxide in the ratio – H2O2:NaCN=10:1 have been carried out. Optimal technological parameters of ore preparation and gold leaching process from waste pelletized granules of different types at a ratio of 1:0.5:0: 5 are established, accordingly, out of balance ores of the Talatuy deposit (βAu – 0.7 g/t), underlaid tailings (βAu – 1.45 g/t) and tailings of the current ore processing of Dara","PeriodicalId":332716,"journal":{"name":"Transbaikal State University Journal","volume":"132 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122427868","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Soils provide the basis for the growth of trees and woodlands, and are an essential component of forests and forest ecosystems, as they are involved in the regulation of such important processes as the absorption of nutrients, their decomposition and maintenance of water balance. By reducing the risk of soil erosion and the threat of landslides and avalanches, the sustainable use of forest resources greatly contributes to the functioning of the systems responsible for maintaining the planet’s clean water supply, as well as a balanced water cycle. In the soil environment, trees develop root systems and in turn, forest trees and vegetation in general are an important factor in protecting the soil cover. The authors have examined the natural and anthropogenic degradation of brown mountain-forest soils under a beech forest, brown mountain-forest soils under hornbeam and oak forests in the north-eastern part of the Lesser Caucasus in the Babadjan river basin. The erosional relief of the studied region is represented by highly dissected low mountains, middle mountains and mountain basins, which are rather densely indented by mountain rivers. In conditions of such a relief, soils are well developed in dry low mountains and in the humid part of the middle mountains. To clarify the effect of soil properties on the growth and development of tree species in forest communities of the study area, soil sections were laid. The influence at altitudes of 950-1800 m above sea level, the slope of the relief, the exposure of slopes, the composition of the forest cover, the lithological composition of the parent rocks, the physic-chemical composition of the soil and other factors on the intensity of the degradation process in different ecosystems have been studied","PeriodicalId":332716,"journal":{"name":"Transbaikal State University Journal","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122791241","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The article describes the role of transport communications in the development of the region, free economic zones created within the ATI, prospects for countries’ participation in the creation of a regional value chain. The authors have tried to apply a mathematical method of analysis, in particular Game Theory, to assess the strategic behavior of the RTI member countries in conditions of conflict of interests. The authors provide an analytical and predictive assessment of the multilateral relations development of the initiatives’ participants. The Augmented Tumangan Initiative, approved under the auspices of the United Nations Development Program based on The Tumannay River Area Development Program, is an intergovernmental mechanism for regional cooperation in Northeast Asia, in which four countries are currently participating: Russian Federation, People’s Republic of China, Mongolia and the Republic of Korea. The program bears the same name as the Tumangan River, which separates three border states: Russia, China and North Korea. Until 2009, North Korea was a part of the participants, but due to, as the North Korean side indicated, the lack of effectiveness of the project, it announced the termination of its participation. Japan initially did not join the ATI, since it considered the possible contribution of each of the countries that have different stages of economic development and, accordingly, different levels of financial potential will be unequal. It should also be noted that there are territorial disputes between the participants and the unstable situation on the Korean Peninsula. However, due to possible relative economic interests, each of the countries, including the DPRK and Japan, does not exclude the possibility of using the ATI site to obtain their own benefits","PeriodicalId":332716,"journal":{"name":"Transbaikal State University Journal","volume":"44 3","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114059872","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
