In this work ire develop a modular neural network simulation system based on .NET framework, applying a new training method named expert in one thing and good at many in constructing modular neural network. This method divides the training set into a certain number of subsets, each of which can be selected to train individual sub-network with different performance criterion. An empirical study demonstrates that the proposed method obtains significant generalization ability. {"title":"IDDJCC: Integrated Dynamic Delay and Jitter-controlled for Congestion Control","authors":"Liu Wei, Ying Yu-mei","doi":"10.1109/ISITAE.2007.4409259","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/ISITAE.2007.4409259","url":null,"abstract":"In this paper we developed a novel and a more generic congestion control mechanism for delay and jitter guarantees across \"single FIFO queue\" access links by controlling the parameters belong to the premium traffic and non-premium traffic to develop the classic DOM (delay queue management) .The mechanism, called IDDJCC (integrated dynamic delay and jitter-controlled for congestion control), is used for controlling traffic using information on the status of each queue and traffic in the network which optimize Internet routers to meet the application delay and jitter requirements. The IDDJCC scheme is designed using nonlinear control theory based on a nonlinear model of the network that is generated using fluid flow considerations. An IDDJCC scheme is designed for two types of services (premium service and non-premium service), and to implement nonlinear controller, with proven performance, is designed and analyzed. This paper investigated the computer resources that students have access to outside their university environment at Charles Sturt University. Although the level of ownership is very high there remains a cohort of students who totally rely on the computer laboratories for their academic needs. Cost was identified as the main factor that inhibited these students from purchasing their own laptop or from having their own Internet access. The university is considering alternate arrangements to support these students by providing subsidies and access to computer software and the internet. However academic staff also need to be consulted in any decision to change the provision of computer laboratories at CSV. This paper reports a CAI tool, RDBNorm, the authors designed and implemented to facilitate both teachers' classroom teaching and students' home practicing of the theory of relation normalization. The primary characteristic is using quadrangle search pattern as guidance to predicting direction when searching optimal result. Then, the flat hexagon, which has cross-center-biased property of moving vectors' direction in video sequences, is used. To prove the validity of the PIS algorithm, besides some theories and computation analysis, several experiments shows compressed images using PIS have similar quality to the full search (FS).
