Abstract
Agent technology, which derives from the combination of artificial intelligence and network technology, is a software entity with self-adaptation and intelligence that can accomplish a task by means of initiative service on behalf of users or programs. So the Agent technology is widely employed in the development of intelligent answering system in distance teaching systems.
