These actions also apply to family members of soldiers who died while performing the duties of their service. These projects are associated with retraining, career counselling, employment agency services and work placement. They are intended to assist people eligible for help in finding employment. Thanks to the results analysed, recommendations were presented regarding the reconversion of the personnel of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland, allowing the competence potential of soldiers at retirement age to be used. In order to be able to use the competence potential of retired officers on the civilian labour market, there is a need to improve solutions for developing their potential. This is justified by the aim of the work, which is as follows: the analysis of activities undertaken within the framework of the reconversion of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland and the presentation of the personnel of proposals for the development and use of the competence potential of Polish Army officers in the context of employment at retirement age. The research question was formulated in the form of a question: What measures should be taken in the course of reconverting the Armed Forces personnel in order to use the competence potential of officers after reaching retirement age? The research was carried out primarily with the method of analysis and criticism of the literature. The multifaceted influence of social media postings is demonstrated by leveraging the Toyota Motor Corporation example. An explanation of how defamatory incidents have impacted the company’s social media atmospheric image is also included. Evidence of how negative intervals of social media presence could have been intelligently reversed through efficient content infusions is presented. Among numerous instruments allowing for analysis of marketing strategy results, “Social Mention”, “Talkwalker” and “Mentiolytics” were selected in order to demonstrate the efficiency and utility of social media monitoring methods using freely available tools. A notable aspect is the use of autonomous vehicles to enhance the quality of decision-making processes as well as flexibility and efficiency. The implementation of new solutions will lead to improvements not just in transportation and delivery, but also in warehouse management. The growing demand for autonomous solutions, both in the industry and in the daily life of an average consumer, necessitates efforts to ensure their safe operation and use. The present literature review synthetically describes the history of the development of autonomous vehicles and machines. The standards and norms that should be met by products allowed for use as well as threats to cybersecurity, along with examples, are presented herein. The analysis of the collected materials leads to the conclusion that with the development of new technologies and the growth in the importance of autonomous solutions, the number of threats and the importance of systems securing the functioning of devices in cyberspace are increasing. Artillery in this armed conflict is used by both sides with great intensity and is an essential means of fire support, often decisive for the success of the implemented operations. The aim of the second part of the article is to present ways of using field artillery units in selected operations of the Ukrainian war. As before, the subject of the research is the missile forces and artillery of the warring parties, but in this case, above all, the way they carry out their tasks. In his research, the author wants to answer the following problematic questions: How did the field artillery units of both parties involved in the conflict carry out combat tasks in selected phases of the war? What conclusions can be drawn from this for the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland, which are currently increasing their capabilities, especially their artillery capabilities, as well as for other NATO armies? {"title":"Soldier duties as a form of shaping the ethos of military service","authors":"Aleksandra Skrabacz","doi":"10.5604/01.3001.0054.1630","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.5604/01.3001.0054.1630","url":null,"abstract":"The war which broke out on February 24, 2022, as a result of the military aggression of Russian Federation against Ukraine once again shattered the state of relative peace in Europe and reevaluated the perception of threats, shifting focus from non-military threats to military ones. Thus, the issue of the readiness of the state, including the readiness of its military forces acting as its armed wing, for another potential military conflict came to the forefront of all discussions conducted in the political, scientific and social world. Events on the international arena coincided with measures undertaken as part of the Ministry of National Defence. These consist primarily in increasing the number of soldiers in the Polish Army (ultimately up to 300,000 soldiers), increasing combat capacity through modernisation and purchasing modern armament, as well as improving combat capabilities, as assumed by the Development Program of the Armed Forces for 2017-2026. It is worth noticing that the process focuses not only on supplying the army with modern equipment, but also on shaping in soldiers those features that will be useful both in peacetime and in wartime. What is meant here is soldier duties understood as fulfilment of a certain moral obligations to the Homeland, nation, as well as both military and civil environment. Duties can also be understood in the context of a specific vocation, mission, or responsibility to be fulfilled towards those who established a particular entity, in this case the Polish Army, to fulfil tasks prescribed by law and put their trust in them.
