Since local wisdoms knotted in local cultures are prone to be eroded along the changing eras, an effort to bring back and preserve them should be the penultimate concern, before implementing those values in real basis. Folklores have been the media to incarnate those local wisdoms, and thus this book is worth referring to when it comes to the topic of folklores for storytelling. All folklores covered in this book are originating from Indonesia, as the name suggests, “Nusantara”, served in bilingual versions – Bahasa and English. A series of training and drilling were planned to be conducted in SMP Negeri 02 and 03 Batu so as to project the English pronunciation precision. The stages include the followings: (1) FGD (Focused-Group Discussion) between researchers and the teachers as well as the students to tap challenging sounds susceptible to be mispronounced during storytelling the folklores taken from the book; (2) mapping corresponding English-Hijaiyah sounds to train; (3) modeling by CS Team and English teachers; (4) the students’ English pronunciation training by means of Hijaiyah corresponding sounds; (5) reflection and feedback for the betterment of training activities; (6) the students’ simulation for storytelling; and (7) video taking and making.","PeriodicalId":33123,"journal":{"name":"Erudio Journal of Educational Innovation","volume":"36 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"76106328","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Universitas Paramadina is allegedly a university where Nur Cholis Madjid (Cak Nur) fosters religious pluralism ideology through the curriculum of pluralistic multiculturalism-based philosophy and religious studies programs. This is proven normatively through the curriculum policies in the Philosophy and Religious Studies Programs based on the Decree of the Paramadina Rector Number SKEP-006a/Rek/UPM/I/2008. Those curriculum policies contained the Lecture Program Unit (Syllabus) and the Outline of Teaching Program. They were also allegedly that religious pluralism was taught in one of its courses named the Seminar on Madjid’s Thought. The purpose of this study was to describe and analyze: The implementation of a pluralistic multiculturalism-based philosophy and religious studies program curriculum policy at Universitas Paramadina. The results revealed that the implementation of pluralistic multiculturalism-based philosophy and religious studies programs at Universitas Paramadina used Grindle theory as a grand theory. Normatively, Universitas Paramadina has not been proven to develop, spread, and teach religious pluralism. This means that the policies of the philosophy and religious studies program curriculum are not based on pluralistic multiculturalism but instead based on Islam of the Archipelago. That means a new concept is open, analytical, and critical to building the character of independent thinking in the fields of Islam, Indonesia, and Modernity. Moreover, field data show that Madjid never taught religious pluralism but a plurality. It means the attributes or character of Paramadina’s lecturers and students to understand religious diversity without the belief that all religions are equally true. This is the cause of “misperception” between religious pluralism and plurality for the younger generation/successors (lecturers and students) of Universitas Paramadina. After Madjid died, the younger generation/successor misinterpreted religious pluralism with this plurality, so students did not understand the core meaning of religious pluralism and plurality.","PeriodicalId":33123,"journal":{"name":"Erudio Journal of Educational Innovation","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"82999483","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of them is the Prosthodontics skills lab. A constructive feedback is expected to be provided by the instructor to the students in the skills lab. This research was aimed to evaluate students’ perception about the constructive feedback given by the instructor during the Prosthodontics skills lab in the Dentistry Faculty of Universitas Brawijaya. This study used mixed methods combining the quantitative and qualitative methods. The quantitative data showed that a majority of Universitas Brawijaya’s class of 2015 dentistry students (55.9%) assumed that the feedback given by the instructor was moderate. The rest stated that they received a level 3 feedback which is feedback in form of giving correct answers and their detailed explanation. The qualitative data showed that the constructive feedback was motivation, improvement, and recommendation that the students received. The correct way of giving feedback according to the respondents’ perception is by giving explanation, positive expressions, constructive, honest, motivational, and giving demos. The benefits are as an evaluator, motivator, and a way to show students’ mistakes. The respondents’ experience during the Prosthodontics skills lab is receiving good feedback, understanding the presence of different perceptions among instructors, and understanding that there are also instructors that do not give guidance. According to Universitas Brawijaya’s class of 2015 dentistry students, the similarity in perception among instructors in giving feedback, the delivery of the feedback, the need of videos and demo during skills lab, and punctuality in the Prosthodontics skills lab need to be addressed.","PeriodicalId":33123,"journal":{"name":"Erudio Journal of Educational Innovation","volume":"13 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"85327745","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
