By means of cloud computing technology, the reliability of IT infrastructures can be significantly improved; the technique on power dispatching can be easily standardized; and the advanced functions can be rapidly delivered. It also shortens the cycle of deploying new power system automation facilities and reduces administrative costs. First, the impacts of different characters of landform and load density on the PSM is analyzed; Second, Power Supply Framework(PSF) indicated interconnection structure of substation is established according to landform and load density; Then, integrated PSM is formed by the analysis of PSF and connection mode; Finally, the attribute and external characteristic of PSM is gained with quantity of power supply unit and power supply capability. Several micro-grid test beds in the forms of either hardware or software simulation have been developed around the world. In Taiwan, one 20KVA 3W3Ø micro-grid test bed has been conducted in National Tsing Hua University (NTHU). This micro-grid consists of various fundamental power system components, including two synchronous generators (SG), one fixed speed induction generator (FSIG), and one doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG). In this paper, simulation results of the NTHU micro-grid system in distributed real-time simulation platform OPAL-RT are reported. Dynamical modeling of various distributed generations (DG) will be studied. A comprehensive set of factors in the integrated smart building and utility grid system is taken into account in developing the negotiation model. In addition, the learning capability of the negotiation agent is developed to adaptively adjust the trader's decisions according to the opponent's behaviors. The feasibility of the proposed negotiation agent is evaluated by the simulation results. We first present an optimal RTP scheme which is based on two-layer optimization processes performed separately on consumer side and retailer side of an electricity network for social welfare maximization. We further proceed to classify consumers based on their load profiles and level-of- participation in demand response program under RTP scheme. The economic benefits of the RTP scheme to different types of consumers are analyzed and compared with those of flat pricing and time-of-use (ToU) pricing schemes. The ultimate objective is to optimally regulate the supply and demand within the micro-grid while ensuring that individual preferences are met and the overall energy consumption is minimized. This article will only focus on the demand management within the community. A simulation environment is developed using GridLAB-D for a baseline and an improved community model. The residential end uses, including electric vehicle charging, are modeled as stochastic and controllable demands. Energy storage capacity is also included. The improved model is used to evaluate different operational alternatives on the basis of individual residential units. Experimental operating conditions are established for the optimization of energy consumption. In order to analyze the DRCs of industrial electricity consumers in the time of use (TOU) pricing program, a DR model based on the Support Vector Machine (SVM) regression algorism is proposed in the paper. With the model, electricity consumers' daily load arrangement under different price rate (PR) of TOU pricing program could be simulated. Using the simulating data, the electricity consumers' DRCs could be calculated to make further analysis. The work provides reasonably theoretical reference for designing, evaluating and amending current TOU pricing programs and gives an access to quantitively evaluate electricity consumers' DR potential. According to the traditional SVPWM control strategy, a new control strategy is presented. This new control strategy uses Fuzzy-PI control that can modify PI parameters in real-time, and using feedforward control strategy to predict variation trend which can decrease overstrike. A simulation model, which represents the converter of doubly fed induction generator system is built-in MATLAB, and simulation results which are under symmetry grid voltage fault condition are given that illustrate the excellent performance characteristics of the Fuzzy- PI compound control system. The new control strategy has concise structure and more stable performance. A large number of electric vehicles as distributed energy storage units can feedback to the grid when the grid needs to provide energy and ancillary services. Electric vehicles can either simulate the generator droop characteristic in primary frequency regulation or be based on area control error (ACE) in the power system secondary frequency modulation. At the same time, electric vehicles can be involved in the third frequency modulation based on economic dispatch. In this study, we establish signal area power system model and interconnected two-area model containing V2G and analyze the effects of V2G participation in secondary frequency modulation based on ACE.
