In Step1, several areas of interest were established, namely <politics · economy>, <society · education>, and <arts · physical education>, and a project reference library was also opened. Step 2 is currently being undertaken, entailing convergence/creativity interdisciplinary research. Through the process of carrying this research agenda forward, it will be possible to more comprehensively understand the overall ecology of the Korean-Japanese diaspora, and also to establish the cultural topography of this diaspora from the perspective of ‘glocality’.
