This paper proposes a power splitter for connecting various power grids, including distributed power grids, large power grids and passive distribution networks. It can realize energy dispatch between power grids and has power quality management functions. This paper first introduces the topology, working principle and functional advantages of the power splitter; then proposes a control strategy and operation mode for energy scheduling, and builds a simulation model of the power splitter on the RTDS system. The final test proves: The power splitter is connected to multiple asynchronous grids, and the grid connection speed is fast and the impact is small. Uncertainties of PV generation bring risks to system operation of the distribution network. In this paper, a new method was proposed for risk assessment of distribution network with consideration of multiple PVs’ uncertainties. Firstly, probabilistic characteristics of each PV generation was forecasted using dynamic Bayesian network(DBN). Secondly, multiple PV generation uncertainties were calculated with consideration of the probability of each operating state. And then power network severities in terms of thermal and voltage violations were calculated. Finally, the system risk indices were computed by using probability multiply severity. A practical distribution system with multiple PV generations was used as case study. First, the concept of distance protection rough setting depending on sensitivity is defined. On this basis, the startup information of each segment in regional power grid can be obtained, and the state matrix of connection of regional grid can be constructed combined with network topology and circuit breaker state. Then, according to this state matrix, the protection startup recorded matrix can be built and the wide area fault identification criterion can be constructed. This method simplifies the principle of setting coordination of local protection without the effect of information nonsynchronous. Furthermore, in the case of missing or incorrect startup information, the correctness of fault locating still remain. However, grease can cause swelling of silicone rubber, affecting the physical characteristics of silicone rubber. This paper researched on the swelling behavior of silicone rubber caused by silicone grease under different tensile deformations with measuring the mass, volume, density, hardness, tensile strength at break, elongation at break and elastic modulus during swelling process. The four test groups of unswelling & untensile, swelling & untensile, swelling & tensile-20%, swelling & tensile-40% had been set, and the parameters were measured every 24 hours during the swelling of the silicone rubber coated with silicone grease. Significant increase in the mass and volume had took place during the swelling process, which indicated that silicone grease could cause serious swelling of silicone rubber. While silicone rubber was in the state of stretched, the quantity and sizes of pores both increase, leading to a severer state of swelling. Based on the node impedance matrix, a voltage coupling factor (VCF) is derived to analyze the effect of faults on AC buses on voltage of inverter AC buses. Then, a method to reduce the commutation failure risk of multi-infeed DC systems is proposed, combining with the criterion of commutation failure based on the minimum extinction angle. In the design stage of converter stations, the short-circuit impedance of converter transformers should be reduced as much as possible on the basis of considering all kinds of restrictive factors. By using this method, the critical voltage coupling factor can be increased and the commutation failure risk can be reduced. More and more developments have been achieved in various subjects, such as: chemistry, life science, astronomy and engineering. In these developments, manipulation of these small dielectric particles is the main problem due to quantifying FDEP (dielectrophoretic forces). Point-Dipole (PD) and Maxwell Stress Tensor (MST) methods are commonly used for quantifying in current researches. PD method is a simplified way which can be used in the condition that particles are all homogenous and spherical, while their existences don’t change external electric fields. MST method is a more exact way for the calculation which is able to consider particles’ shape and the deformation of particles to external electric fields, however, it is limited to homogenous particles. In order to overcome the limitations above, a new method VEM (Volumetric Element Method) was introduced into the calculation. With the method, FDEP on a homogenous and non-homogenous particles with different shapes (sphere, ellipsoid, square) were calculated under an electric field. Differences among the three methods are compared and analyzed. Finally, it was found that PD method is not suitable when the deformations of particles on external electric fields were very strong, but VEM and MST still kept a good performance. The diversified load mentioned in this paper refers to nontraditional loads with active characteristics, such as electric vehicles charging and discharging facilities, energy storage systems, grid-connected microgrid and etc. For the effective planning of the diversified load integration into distribution network, an evaluation method of diversified load absorptive ability is presented in this paper based on the idea of hierarchical components. Firstly, a hierarchical component analysis method is proposed. Secondly, a rationality evaluation index system is presented from the perspective of safe operation, power quality and energy management to guarantee the effect integration of diversified load. Finally, the maximum absorptive ability of diversified load is evaluated by gradually increasing the capacity of the diversified load integration and adjusting the integration scheme, using \"exploratory adjustment + linear interpolation\" method. Rationality assessment of the absorptive capacity of distribution network for diversified load could promote the coordinated development of diversified load and power grid.
