This paper presents an open system for simulating and/or monitoring scenarios of financial crises.The method employed involves the use of a ‘thinking’ chart to document significant theories of the economy for the purpose of pragmatic analysis. Subsequently, a system’s perspective of the real economy is used to underscore a coterie of models and observations about the economy. The results were validated as the basis for unifying the outlooks of the current state of global economies. In conclusion, the current financial crisis is fundamentally a fuel crisis based on a low-level generalization. This was an observable pattern that had not been taken into full dialectical partnership, and, hence, obscured the socio-economic reading of history in its time, enthroning the mutant in the realm of human ideas.","PeriodicalId":327522,"journal":{"name":"2009 11th International Conference on Computer Modelling and Simulation","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126525663","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Component selection and component systems assembly have become two of the key issues involved in this process.There may be different alternative components that can be selected (to obtain a configuration), each coming at their own set of offered requirements. Our goal is to select the best existing component alternatives. In order to attain this goal, the evaluation of the components is a necessity. As a result in this direction, software metrics are very useful being a mean to quantify those attributes considered important for the system that will built.We formulate the problem as multiobjective, considering different metrics values. The approach is an evolutionary computation technique. The experiments and comparisons (considering different criteria and various number of individuals and iterations) shows the importance of multicriteria-based solution.","PeriodicalId":327522,"journal":{"name":"2009 11th International Conference on Computer Modelling and Simulation","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123002921","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Security and survivability of WSNs are receiving increasing attention, particularly critical infrastructure protection. Our goal is to develop a framework for secure and survivable WSN that can provide essential services in the presence of attacks and failures, and recovery of full services in a timely manner. To achieve such a goal, we propose a framework of survivability model with rejuvenation methodology for WSNs. This paper also outlines the interaction of survivability, security and fault tolerance, so that we can effectively analyze and design the secure and survivable WSNs. The system is modeled under Markov chain and numerical results are included to show the performance of the proposed methods. It will be one of the approaches for improving the survivability level in WSN environment.","PeriodicalId":327522,"journal":{"name":"2009 11th International Conference on Computer Modelling and Simulation","volume":"63 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128856239","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Two IR Modules are integrated to detect obstacles in the path of movement. This combined arrangement is simple and gave satisfactory results at smooth surfaces. At rough surfaces results are very poor and vehicle lost its calculated path due to change of direction of front wheel. Presence of Obstacles in circular path of ULV is another problem in ULV path calculations. There was no such solution for facing this problem. These problems are focused mainly in current research for making efficient low cost solution. Wheel position control is developed by providing a control loop for driving front wheel motor. It gives satisfactory result to maintain constant direction during motion. New algorithm is developed for proper determination of proposed path in case of obstacles present in circular paths. Better results are achieved after adopting new technique. This combined effort by adding no such expensive component produces efficient ULV Navigation solution. After a number of experiments it is still determined that in structured environment, better sensors with better algorithm are required. It will consider a future task for making efficient low cost solution.","PeriodicalId":327522,"journal":{"name":"2009 11th International Conference on Computer Modelling and Simulation","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124716620","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Statistical modelling is one of the most widespread methods of research of economic systems. The selection of methods of modelling of economic systems depends on a great number of conditions (modelling components) of the system being researched. The method of statistical modelling allows developing different scenarios of functioning of the economic systems. Statistical modelling may be used for tackling a wide range of economic problems (design and analysis of industrial systems, stock management, balancing of production capacities, allocation of investment funds, optimization of investment funds, optimization of insurance system etc.). Modelling is frequently associated with the factor of uncertainty (or risk), the description of which is not possible with traditional statistical modelling methods. This makes the modelling process more complicated.","PeriodicalId":327522,"journal":{"name":"2009 11th International Conference on Computer Modelling and Simulation","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115053140","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
