So much so that through this writing, will refute and reverse the understanding that the Qur’an was originally understood as a text of radical and war, into a text that demands peace for all mankind. This article analyzes the verses of war by using the method of nuzuli order, which is to understand the Qur'an based on the descending order of the verses. The results of this article state that the emergence of war verses in the Qur’an is the Qur’an’s response to the issue of war in the tradition of Arab society, known as the story of ayyam al-Arab. In the three great wars: the Battle of Badr, Uhud, Khandaq, the Qur’an has always guided Muslims in waging war. In the battle of Badr, Muslims were instructed not to start a war, done with sincerity, with intention for the sake of Allah. At the Battle of Uhud it was directed by the Qur’an to eliminate slander. As for the Khandaq War, the Qur'an shows the power of Allah: about the non-occurrence of war, that it is Allah who governs the Muslims not to wage war. From here, it can be seen that the effort to expose the 'tradition' of war of the Arab Community, was transformed into peace as they became the Arab Islamic Community. However, the description in this article is written with a special emphasis, namely that Islamic philosophy is an attempt to explain religious teaching in a philosophical manner and that philosophy is useful for defending religious doctrines through rational-demonstrative arguments. This emphasis is present amidst the persistence of negative sentiments and even rejection raised by some Muslims, as well as criticism from philosophical reviewers who doubt originality of religious philosophy.For this reason, the author tries to present a brief history of the emergence of Islamic philosophy along with the motives that prompted Muslim scholars to build this philosophy and the influence that surrounded it. Next, the author will explain how Muslim philosophers defend and proved the originality of their philosophy. Everything is conveyed to state that Islamic philosophy is not as alleged by its opponents.Tema yang disajikan pada artikel ini bukanlah tema yang baru dan terbilang lumrah dalam kajian filsafat Islam yang sudah tak terhitung banyaknya. Namun uraian tentang permulaan filsafat Islam pada artikel ini ditulis dengan penekanan khusus, yaitu bahwa filsafat Islam merupakan upaya untuk menjelaskan ajaran agama secara filosofis dan bahwa filsafat bermanfaat untuk membela doktrin-doktrin agama melalui argumentasi rasional-demonstratif. Penekanan tersebut hadir di tengah masih adanya sentimen negatif dan bahkan penolakan terhadap filsafat Islam yang dilontarkan oleh sebagian umat Islam, serta adanya kritik dari kalangan pengkaji filsafat yang meragukan orisinalitas filsafat keagamaan.Untuk itu, penulis mencoba mengetengahkan sejarah singkat kemunculan filsafat Islam bersama dengan motif-motif yang mendorong pada sarjana muslim membangun filsafat ini dan pengaruh yang melingkupinya. Selanjutnya, pengarang akan menjelaskan bagaimana para filsuf Muslim membela dan membuktikan orisinalitas filsafat mereka. The scholastic era or known medieval philosophy whose style is the philosophy of collaborating with theology in harmony. Philosophy in the scholastic era gave birth to many famous theologians-philosophers, one of whom was Thomas Aquinas, who was the subject of this paper. After the authors traced through this paper the answer found that Aquinas was the most important figure of Western philosophy in the scholastic era. Aquinas is considered to have made a real contribution in unifying the original elements of Augustine's thought, strongly influenced by the philosophy of Neo-Platonism, with the philosophy of Aristotle.The author criticized Aquinas's view that Aristotle's philosophical system contains true rational truths. Basically using philosophical methods to understand theology is very helpful. That has been done by Aquinas; it only needs to be underlined that the method for understanding philosophy without losing the nature of theology is not entirely correct either. However there are also problems that cannot be fully explained by philosophical approaches. Like the problem of beliefs related to metaphysical problems, for example. The problem of belief in matters that are metaphysical is a problem that is difficult to explain philosophical logic. Aquinas stated that theological truth is clear to human reason. For example, it is the truth about God's existence. Studi ini meneliti bagaimana sistem pola asuh yang diterapkan dalam lingkup wilayah Az-Zainiyah Pondok Pesantren Nurul Jadid. Adapun pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan beberapa poin penting dalam sistem pola asuh di pesantren. Pertama, wali asuh berperan penting sebagai pengganti orang tua selama berada di pesantren. Kedua, penerapan sistem pola asuh sebagai bentuk praksis pendidikan dalam pesantren. Ketiga, kinerja wali asuh memerlukan perhatian lebih dari semua pihak, baik dari santri yang berperan sebagai wali asuh, pesantren yang diharuskan memberi arahan dan bimbingan dalam hal kepengasuhan santri dan juga jajaran pengasuh yang mengontrol dan memberikan solusi bagi adanya program wali asuh. Through the Abdullah Saeed hermeneutics method this research aims to reveal the significance and value of the hierarchy in the story of the Prophet Yūnus contained in the QS. al-Ṣāffāt verses 139-148. The results of this study reveal that in the story of the prophet Yūnus has significance in the form of tasliyyah (entertainment) specifically for the prophet Muhammad's task and the da'wah of Islam in general. Liberal Islamic networks want a religious definition that is humanistic, broad-based monotheism, not authoritarian, and they tend to be more transparent, inclusive and egalitarian, not simply dishonest or disbelieving to other communities. This paper will focus on two studies, first, about the movement of the Liberal Islamic Network methodology. ; Secondly, explore the contribution of the Liberal Islamic Network to the renewal of the tradition of Islamic sciences. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis with an intellectual history approach. By describing what the initial scriptures were written about and when the general codification of the Koran was agreed upon became the main global reference, it could be understood by educated people, especially the laity. As we already know that the Koran in general is initially a complex thing, meaning that the process of occurrence requires stages that are not instantaneous. Various concepts related to the scriptures, such as “God, Angels, Revelations, Prophets,” are often understood as taken forgranted. Likewise the process of revelation of the Qur’an, such as narration, writing, gathering and opening, is often not a concern. This paper intends to discuss the Qur’an from a Historical-Theological perspective. Other things accepted in dogma, such as God's word, verse structure, spelling, and structure of the text, are questioned again by positioning in the historical context at the time the revelation was revealed and then written. The emphasis of this paper is on the process of sacralization of the Koran having a long journey and intersecting with the historical events of the Muslims between the aural and the codification of ‘Uthmānī. Briefly, outlining the history of revelation and writing of the Koran becomes a “holy book” for religious communities. The process of sacralization of the \"holy book\" cannot be separated from the increasingly mature written tradition of human life that is complex. But does not deny the tradition of previous writings, such as the Bible or books of the Jews and Christians. Because the tradition of writing al-Qur’an is imitating from previous books. Based on these reasons, the resecher are interested in studying this theme further. This study is a study of library research, with descriptive-analysis method.
