Among the methods that can help in memorizing are the Tahsin and Tahfidz methods. The focus of the study is the method used by the MBS Bumiayu Islamic Boarding School in fostering its students in Tahsin and Tahfidz Al-Qur'an. The research was conducted with a qualitative approach, and data collection by interview, documentation and observation techniques. The results of the study found that MBS Bumiayu used several methods in fostering its students in following Tahsin and tahfizd of the Qur'an, namely by reading listening to the ustadz reading verse by verse to be memorized and dividing it into several parts and reading it repeatedly so that it was memorized (juz' i), deposit or listen to the newly memorized memorization to the ustadz (talaqqi) and deposit it into three parts, namely sabqi (new memorization), sabaq (repeated new memorization) and manzi (old memorization), and the other memorization process is by murajaah ( repeating) memorization that has been memorized in order to prevent the loss of memorization and strengthen the memorization that has been memorized so that it becomes mutqien. This topic is among the least touched in discussions related to Islam and science. This article is the result of a literature review that raises classical Muslim intellectual thoughts related to the classification of science. During the heyday of Islam, this issue received serious attention from many Muslim intellectuals at that time. The important findings from this paper are that: First, the repertoire of thought in the classification of science in Islam shows the great enthusiasm of Muslim scientists in the development of science whose impact can be felt today. Second, although there are various variations in the classification of science, they still provide respect and space for metaphysical or religious sciences. Third, there are two patterns in the classification of science as stated by Muslim scientists, some are strongly influenced by the Greek tradition, and some are based on Islamic treasures. The form of this research has focused on literature research (library research) by using literature as a source of research. The method used is an analysis of documents by conducting content analysis. This within-case analysis is followed by a thematic analysis across the case. The data patterns emerging from the within-case and cross-case analysis of theme, the information of Temiar’s world view is compared from several documents. Having discussed the relational systems in shamanic society and religious encounters and modernity amongst Temiar, this paper concludes that: Firstly. Shaman creates the cultural experience in the inter-subjective space of the ritual as the flow of the spirit guide through the healing ritual. The shaman is the spirit medium, a person who can receive songs from the spirit guide during dreams. Secondly, singing and dancing is an activity that in itself bridges the gulf between the physical world and the metaphysical. Among the teachings of this monotheism are the verses that inform that Allah is close to His creatures, even Allah Himself is with His creatures wherever they are. These verses and their meanings can cause some Muslims to misunderstand them. Because, the verses seem to state that God is in the heart or God is united or together with His creatures, even God is everywhere. Information on the verse of the Qur'an that mentions Allah is near or Allah is with His servants, of course it cannot be understood simply that Allah is close as close to one thing as another. Or God is one with man as understood by some Sufis. If this is the case, it is clearly contrary to the principles of monotheism taught by the holy Qur'an. Ibn Rushd did the same, but he had the view that in the afterlife there would only be spiritual awakening. This is different from the thoughts of theologians who hold fast means lafzi from the verses of the Qur'an and Sunnah which states that the resurrection in the hereafter will be both physical and spiritual. From the philosophers' thoughts arise various understandings of opinion in discussing the day of human resurrection in the afterlife. This type of research is the library (library research) while there are two sources of research data, namely primary data sources and secondary data sources. Primary data sources were taken from Ibn Rushd's book, namely: Tahâfut At-Tahâfut, secondary data sources were taken from books, research reports, papers, scientific journals related to this research. The results of this study, according to Ibnu Rusyd, eschatology is the science of the resurrection in the afterlife. Ibn Rushd's argument about the resurrection in the afterlife is spiritual or spiritual. So what will be resurrected is the soul, while the body that has disappeared will not be resurrected because the soul (soul) is eternal and eternal. Hal ini terbukti dengan banyaknya kajian tafsir al-Qur'an dalam corak yang sangat bervariasi. Masing-masing berusaha mengungkap kandungan al-Qur'an dari berbagai aspeknya. Namun demikian, variasi kajian tafsir al-Qur'an ini, belakangan dipandang belum mampu memenuhi kebutuhan umat dalam menjawab segala permasalahan secara memuaskan. Hal ini karena kajian tafsir al-Qur'an yang mendominasi selama ratusan tahun ini, lebih menekankan kepada analisis redaksi terhadap ayat-ayat al-Qur'an yang kemudian dikenal dengan metode tafsir tahlili. Metode ini dinilai masih menampakkan al-Qur'an secara terpisah bukan sebagai satu kesatuan utuh yang setiap aspeknya memiliki keterikatan satu sama lain. Karenanya, pesan-pesan pokok yang dikandung al-Qur'an belum dapat digali secara utuh. Berangkat dari kenyataan diatas, lahir inisiatif untuk menciptakan metode alternatif dalam kajian tafsir al-Qur'an yang kemudian dikenal dengan metode Tafsir Maudhu'iy. Metode ini berusaha menampakkan al-Qur'an sebagai satu kesatuan utuh yang tidak terpisah. Mencoba menawarkan solusi lewat pembahasan tematis terhadap pesan-pesan al-Qur'an. Dengan metode ini, al-Qur'an dapat dipandang secara menyeluruh sehingga kelemahan dalam menarik pesan inti dan kandungan makna al-Qur'an secara utuh dapat teratasi. Sebab, adalah fakta yang tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa al-Qur'an senantiasa memandang setiap permasalahan secara menyeluruh dan tuntas. But, unfortunately, they cannot reconstruct what they propagated as the ‘Islamic sociology’. One of main factors of their failure is neglecting the Qur`an as the starting point of the reconstruction. Employing a thematic interpretation, focusing on the issues of norm, tradition, and social change, this article is aimed to reconstruct the so-called ‘sociology of the Qur`an’. The discussion will be started from initiating the ‘philosophy’ or the rationale for the integration between Qur`an interpretation and social sciences, then it will discuss those issues, and finally will drawn some main points in the term of the Qur`anic sociology and idealized methods for the integration. This article arrives at the conclusion that a society in the Qur`anic perspective are characterized by being prophetic in the term of seeking ideals and by involving of closely related elements of God, man, and ‘history’ (man’s creativity) in in the term of social change. It is suggested to employ a scientific and thematic interpretation applying semantic approach in interpreting Quranic verses to reconstruct Quranic concept of society. Abstrak Penjelasan ilmiah tentang masyarakat, sebagaimana yang ditawarkan oleh sosiologi Barat, telah dikritik oleh sebagian intelektual Muslim karena beberapa kelemahan. Akan tetapi, sayangnya, mereka tidak bisa merekonstruksi apa yang mereka serukan sebagai ‘sosiologi Islam’. Salah satu faktor utama kegagalan mereka adalah mengabaikan al-Qur`an sebagai titik-tolak rekonstruksi. Dengan menerapkan penafsiran tematik, berfokus pada persoalan tentang norma, tradisi, dan perubahan sosial, artikel ini dimaksudkan untuk merekonstruk yang apa yang disebut ‘sosiologi al-Qur`an’. Diskusi akan dimulai dari upaya menjelaskan ‘filosofi’ atau alasan yang mendasari pentingnya integrasi antara penafsiran al-Qur`an dan ilmu-ilmu sosial, kemudian akan mendiskusikan isu-isu itu, dan terakhir akan menarik beberapa point utama dalam hal sosiologi and metode yang diidealisasikan untuk integrasi. Artikel ini sampai pada kesimpulan bahwa suatu masyarakat dalam perspektif al-Qur`an memiliki ciri bersifat profetik dalam hal mencari yang ideal dan dengan keterlibatan elemen-elemen yang terkait erat antara Tuhan, manusia, dan ‘sejarah’ (kreativitas manusia) dalam hal perubahan sosial.
