Faris to analyze Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. We analyze elements of magical realism of the work in mapping discourses between the text and the real life. The chosen material object that published earlier than the theory we chose make this work contributes to describe the trace of the civilization development; event of in-betweeness of human consciousness. However, we have found that A Midsummer Night’s Dream is only a magical realism-like mode, since realism is dominant in the text as the trace of modernity. Meanwhile, the characteristics of Magical Realism that is postulated by Faris is in-between realism and fantasy as a trace of transition era; modern to postmodern. Abstrak: Artikel ini menggunakan konsep-konsep realism magis oleh Wendy B. Faris untuk menganalisis “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” karya Shakespeare.  Kami menganalisis elemen-elemen realism magis yang ada dalam karya untuk memetakan wacana-wacana yang ada antara teks dan kenyataan. Pemilihan objek materi yang telah dipublikasi lebih awal dari kelahiran teori yangkami pilih ini berkontribusi untuk menjelaskan jejak perkembanan peradaban Kebudayaan; peristiwa keberantaraan pada kesadaran manusia. Namun demikian, kami menemukan bahwa “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” hanyalah moda tulisan Serupa Realisme Magis, karena dominan teks lebih pada realisme yang merupakan jejak dari modernitas. Realisme magis dipahami sebagai gaya estetetik yang mengandung unsur-unsur magis bercampur aduk dengan realitas. Dalam realisme magis wilayah mistis dan realitas empiris diperlakukan sejajar karena yang fantasi dan supranatural mengakar pada realitas kultural dan historis. Kajian dalam tulisan ini berdasarkan pandangan bahwa teks sastra pasti akan terpengaruh oleh kultur masyarakat dan pengarangnya. Muatan makna yang terdapat di dalam karya sastra akan dipengaruhi dan ditentukan oleh kosmologi budaya, nila-nilai, norma, konvensi sosial budaya atau bahkan ideologi pengarangnya. Metode dalam tulisan ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, yakni prosedur penelitian yang menghasilkan data-data deskriptif berupa kata-kata atau kalimat tertulis yang menunjukkan kadar realisme magis dalam cerpen-cerpen Danarto yang terkumpul dalam kumpulan cerpen Godlob dan dalam novel Cala Ibi karya Nukila Amal. Dalam kumpulan crpen Godlob karya Danarto maupun novel Cala Ibi Nukila Amal dapat ditemukan ciri-ciri realisme magis, yakni elemen yang tidak dapat direduksi, dunia fenomenal, keraguan-keraguan yang menggoyahkan, penggabuangan antara yang magis fantasi dengan realitas dan rusaknya batas, ruang, waktu dan identitas. Dalam cerpen-cerpen Danarto, realisme magis berlandaskan mistisisme Jawa berupa konsep-konsep sangkan paraning dumadi, mulih-mulanira, dan manunggaling kawula-gusti, sedangkan dalam novel Cala Ibi, realisme magis berdasarkan mitos-mitos historis Ternate, dan sufisme Islam dengan konsep wahdatul wujud. Abstract: These article investigate the short story collections of Godlob by danarto and novel Cala Ibi by Nukila Amal from from point of view magical realism. Magical realism is being understood as an aesthetic style which is consist of magical elements that mixed by reality. In magical realism, the mistic and empirical reality treated parallely because of the fantasy and supranatural which is rooted to cultural and historical reality. The study of these writing based on a view that literature writing will be affected and determined cultural cosmology, values, norm, cultural social converence or even the writer ideology. The metode in these writing using descriptive qualitative metode, that is research procedure which is produced descriptive datas contain word`s or `written sentences pointed Godlob and the novel Cala Ibi by Nukila Amal can be found in the magical realism: elements that cannot be reducted, fenomenal world, faltering doubts, merging between magical fantasy with reality and the damage limit, space, time and identity. In Danarto’s short story, magical realism based on Javanese mistism such as concept sangkan paraning dumadi,mulih mulanira and manunggaling kawula gusti. Ulil Albab dan Nasrudin Yusuf Reza dengan puisi karya W.S. Rendra “Mencari Bapak” dan bagaimana bentuk hubungannya. Masalah penelitian ini terkait dengan reaksi pembaca setelah membaca sebuah karya yang mengkonkretkan tanggapan mereka dalam bentuk sebuah karya baru. Melalui pendekatan resepsi sastra dan intertektualitas, penelitian ini berusaha menemukan hubungan dan bentuk hubungan antara kedua karya sastra dengan membandingkan elemen-elemennya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik pembacaan dan pencatatan yang kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik komparatif-induktif, kategorisasi, dan inferensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa naskah drama Suto Mencari Bapak merupakan teks konkretisasi hasil resepsi pembaca puisi “Mencari Bapak”. Dalam prosesnya, elemen-elemen yang diresepsi mengalami pengolahan sedemikian rupa berdasarkan horison harapan dan gudang pengalaman pembaca dengan memanfaatkan ruang-ruang terbuka yang terdapat dalam teks puisi. Resepsi produktif elemen-elemen puisi di dalam naskah drama meliputi aspek person, aspek peristiwa, aspek latar, dan aspek tematik. Adapun model resepsi yang ditemukan ada dua. Pertama, model afirmatif dengan varian peminjaman pada sebagian aspek person, peristiwa, dan latar. Kedua, model ekspansi dengan varian penggantian pada sebagian aspek person, peristiwa, dan latar. Varian penggeseran pada sebagian aspek person, peristiwa, latar, dan tematik. Varian penggabungan pada sebagian aspek person. Varian pemadatan pada sebagian aspek person dan peristiwa. Abstract: This study aims to find the relationship between the drama script of Suto Mencari Bapak creating by M. Ulil Albab and nasrudin Yusuf Reza with W.S. Rendra’s poem Mencari Bapak and how it relates. This research problem is related about the reader's reaction after reading a work that concretizes their response in the form of a new work. Through the approach of literary receptions and intertextuality research attempts to find the relationship and form of relationship between the two works of literature by comparing its elements. The data were collected by reading and recording which were then analyzed by comparative-inductive, categorization, and inference techniques. The results show that the play script is a concrete text of the receptive reader results of poetry Mencari Bapak. In the process the perceived elements undergo processing in such a way based on the horizon of expectation and the repertoire of the reader's by utilizing the Indeterminate Sections in the poem. The productive receptions of the poetry elements in the drama include personality aspects, event aspects, background aspects, and thematic aspects. While the recipe model found there are two. Tradisi menulis guguritan dalam sastra Sunda banyak dilakukan sejak awal abad XX. Puisi ini masih pula ditulis dan dibaca oleh masyarakat Sunda, terutama para peminat sastra hingga awal abad XXI. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan bagaimana gaya penulisan guguritan dari tiga penyair Sunda yang pada tiga dekade terakhir dianggap tokoh penulis guguritan. Ketiga penyair guguritan tersebut yakni Dedy Windyagiri, Dyah Padmini, dan Wahyu Wibisana. Mereka merupakan tokoh penyair yang dianggap baik dalam menulis puisi guguritan seperti yang terbaca pada  Jamparing Hariring (1992) karya Dedy Windyagiri, Jaladri Tingtrim (1999) karya Dyah padmini,  dan Riring-riring Ciawaking (2004) karya Wahyu Wibisana. Penelitian dimaksudkan untuk memperlihatkan sejauh mana gaya kepenulisan dari ketiga penyair ini beserta pembeda yang dimilikinya masing-masing, terutama dalam pemilihan tema, pemilihan diksi, pengimajinasian, kata konkret, serta bahasa figuratif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif-analitik. Dari hasil penelitian ini muncul kecenderungan-kecenderungan gaya kepenulisan sebagai pembeda dari masing-masing penyair, yakni kecenderungan nuansa feminin pada guguritan karya Dedy, kecenderungan nuansa maskulin pada guguritan Dyah Padmini, serta kecenderungan nuansa netral pada guguritan karya Wahyu Wibisana. Abstract: Guguritan Poetry in the Sundanese literature is a matter of old poetry which is still written and have a good demand in current condition. The tradition of writing guguritan in Sundanese literature is mostly done since the beginning of the XX century. This poem is still written and read by Sundanese people, especially literary enthusiasts until the early of XXI century. This study describes how the style of writing the guguritan of three Sundanese poets who in the last three decades are considered as guguritan authors. The three poets are Dedy Windyagiri, Dyah Padmini, and Wahyu Wibisana. They are well-known poets in writing guguritan poetry as it reads in works Jamparing Hariring (1992) by Dedy Windyagiri, Jaladri Tingtrim (1999) by Dyah Padmini, and Riring-Riring Ciawaking (2004) by Wahyu Wibisana. The research is intended to show the extent of the authorship style among the three poets and their respective distinctions; especially in the themes selection, dictionary selection, imagination, concrete words, and figurative languages which using descriptive-analytic methods. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif interpretif dengan paralel pembacaan antara karya sastra dengan teks sejarah dan desain analisis isi. Gambaran realitas sejarah sosial dan politik Indonesia (periode 1945 hingga 1966) dalam novel Larasati dengan perspektif New Historicism Greenblatt dianggap efektif untuk mengeksplorasi fenomena teks sastra. Novel ini secara langsung berkaitan dengan manifestasi politik Indonesia yang meliputi (1) struktur ideologi yang digunakan untuk memperkuat kekuatan berbasis negara, dan (2) praktik diskursif, bahasa politik yang mengacu pada konstruksi pengetahuan melalui bahasa yang memberi makna pada segi material dan praktik sosial-politik yang melingkupinya.Kata-kata kunci: historisisme baru, ideologi, politik, praktik diskursif Abstract: This study aimed to describe the nature of social and political history reality of Indonesia in novel Larasati by Pramoedya Ananta Toer through New Historicism perspective. The research used interpretive qualitative method on the readability parallel between literary and historical texts also content analysis design. The description of social and political history reality of Indonesia (period 1945 until 1966) in the novel by using the perspective of New Historicism Greenblatt is considered effective in exploring the phenomenon of literary text. The novel is directly related to the political manifestation of Indonesia that covers (1) ideology structure used to reinforce the state-based power and (2) political discursive practices, the political language that refers to the knowledge construction through the language that gives meaning to the material aspects and social practices. Akan tetapi, dalam teks Swara Sěstra justru dimetaforakan sebagai daun senthe, yaitu alegori perempuan muda yang dimadu dengan perempuan yang lebih tua. Persoalan ini menjadi rumit ketika keadaan tersebut terjadi di lingkungan aristokrat Jawa. Berbekal disiplin filologi dengan metode penyuntingan teks dan penerjemahan, fenomena perempuan dalam teks Swara Sěstra akan diungkapkan. Telaah teks secara semiotik melalui pembacaan heuristik dan hermeneutik kemudian menjadi upaya dalam menafsirkan teks. Pada akhir pembahasan, diketahui bahwa alegori perempuan sebagai senthe merujuk pada citra perempuan Jawa yang tidak baik. Di balik pemaknaan teks tersebut kemudian ditemukan pula bukti bahwa pengalegorian perempuan ini menyeret fakta sejarah tentang maraknya perkawinan endogami di lingkungan bangsawan. Bahkan perilaku tersebut merupakan hal yang subur, terutama di lingkungan dalam tembok istana. Abstract: In general, Javanese women are well-imagery and often raised as a form of teaching in literature. However, in the Swara Sěstra text, it is actually metaphorically as a senthe leaves, the allegory of young women who being a co-wife to older women. This issue becomes complicated when the situation occurs in the aristocratic environment of Java. By the discipline of philology with methods of text editing and translation, the phenomenon of women in the text of Swara Sěstra will be expressed. The semiotic study of text through heuristic and hermeneutical readings then becomes an attempt at interpreting the text. At the end of the discussion, it is known that female allegory as a senthe refers to the image of poor Javanese women. Behind the meaning of the text is then found also evidence that this female allegedly dragged historical facts about the rampant endogamy marriage in the nobility.
