Fruit defects are one of the main problem that decrease the performance quality of abiu. Fruit bagging combine with pesticides are expected to overcome tthe problem. This research aims to study the effect of many kinds of pesticide active compounds to abiu performance quality. This research was conducted at Desa Babakan Lebak, Kecamatan Kota Bogor Barat, and Post-harvest Laboratory of Agronomy and Horticulture, Bogor Agricultural University. The experimental design used was Random Complete Block Design one factor, with 10 replications. This research was consisted of five treatments as a single factor, those were bagging + profenofos 500EC (P1); bagging + Mankozeb 80WP and Streptomicyn sulfat 20WP (P2); bagging + propinep 70WP (P3), bagging without pesticides (P4), and control (P5). Result of this research indicated that treatment of bagging in combination with pesticide active compounds has significant effect on fruit appereance, especially in the fruit smoothnes. The best treatment is the combination of bagging with the addition of mankozeb and streptomycin sulfate pesticide active compounds, which can improve fruit smoothness 26% better than control. Bawang merah dapat ditanam dengan menggunakan media bokhasi. Bokhasi merupakan hasil fermentasi bahan organik dari limbah pertanian dengan bantuan bakteri EM-4. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari respon pertumbuhan dan produksi bawang merah terhadap berbagai jenis bokhasi. Penelitian dilakukan dari Januari sampai April 2020. Perlakuan disusun dalam Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), dan setiap perlakuan diulang tiga kali. Perlakuan penelitian meliputi media tanam bokhasi cocopeat, sekam, serbuk gergajian, dan arang sekam; dan media tanam tanah sebagai kontrol. Parameter yang diamati meliputi pertambahan tinggi tanaman (cm) jumlah daun perumpun, jumlah umbi perumpun, bobot umbi perumpun (g). Data dianalisis dengan ANAVA, dan jika ada perlakuan yang berpengaruh nyata pada taraf 5%, dilakukan uji lanjut dengan BNJD. Hasil menunjukkan tidak terdapat pengaruh nyata untuk setiap perlakuan terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bawang merah. Perkembangan penyakit dipengaruhi oleh fluktuasi iklim global. Perencanaan pengendalian secara dini perlu dilakukan sebagai tindakan awal mencegah kehilangan hasil yang lebih besar. Tulisan ini bertujuan menganalisis perkembangan penyakit luka api di Indonesia selama 10 tahun terakhir serta meramalkan serangannya untuk tahun mendatang. Data hasil pengamatan serangan luka api diperoleh dari laporan daerah sentra tebu se-Indonesia, kemudian diolah dan dianalisis regresi dengan Microsoft excel 2010 sesuai dengan metode peramalan yang dikembangkan oleh BBPOPT. Model peramalan yang diperoleh y = 0.64 + 0.63x, dengan hasil ramalan serangan luka api akan meningkat sebesar 14.3% di Provinsi Jawa Barat dan menurun di Provinsi Jawa Timur dan Jawa Tengah yaitu sebesar 18.4% dan 7.5% pada tahun 2022. The FMS application has 4 main functions, namely land digitization, soil nutrient condition monitoring system (agrooscane), climate monitoring system (agrooclimate), monitoring and automation of fertilization and irrigation (agroomation). This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using agroscan, agroclimate, and agroomation tools on cultivated land in Kumendung Village, Muncar District, Banyuwangi Regency. This research method uses the experimental method. The results of the study, namely the FMS agroscan technology, are effectively used to recommend improving soil pH, adding N, P, and K fertilizer inputs according to the needs of cultivated plant commodities. FMS agroclimate technology, effective for monitoring microclimate (temperature, humidity, rainfall, irradiation duration, and wind speed). The data displayed in the FMS agrooclimate can be used for consideration in determining crop timing, using varieties resistant to pests and diseases that develop in cultivation environments, crop rotation, fertilizing and irrigation times. Agro-industry activities produce waste that has not been handled properly, but it is rich in lignocellulose content that can provide nutrients for edible mushrooms. The purpose of this study was to find out the best combination of agro-industrial waste media for growth and yield of edible mushroom (Volvariella volvaceae) and to determine the correlation of fruit body length, fruiting body diameter, weight per fruiting body, and number of fruiting bodies simultaneously and partially on total fruit body weight per plot. The experiment was arranged on a Completely Randomized Design (CRD), consisting of four treatments that were replicated for six times. Data were analyzed by Analysis of variance (ANOVA) at 5% level and multiple linear regression analysis. The media consisting of 50% rice straw, 25% cotton fiber, and 25% coffee husk had a significant effect and the biggest fruiting diameter of the mushroom which was 2.26 cm. Indonesia memiliki dua musim, yakni musim penghujan dan musim kemarau. Musim dan ketersediaan air mempengaruhi ketersediaan hara tanaman dan kualitas buah yang dihasilkan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengkaji perbedaan kualitas buah pamelo yang dipanen pada dua musim, yakni musim penghujan dan musim kemarau. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober 2018 sampai September 2019 menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) 1 faktor yaitu musim. Bahan penelitian menggunakan kultivar Adas Duku yang buahnya dipanen pada musim penghujan dan kemarau. Pengamatan lingkungan dilakukan pada suhu, relative humidity (RH) dan curah hujan. Peubah yang diamati meliputi diameter buah panen secara membujur dan melintang (cm), bobot buah panen (g), tebal kulit buah (cm), jumlah biji (biji), bagian dapat dimakan (BDD) (%), padatan terlarut total (PTT) dalam satuan ºBrix, asam tertitrasi total (ATT) dalam satuan %, rasio PTT/ATT, Vitamin C mg/100 mL dan IC50 dalam %. Brangkasan ini dapat digunakan sebagai bahan pembuatan pupuk organik bokashi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dosis bokashi yang terbaik untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bawang merah. Percobaan dilaksanakan di UPTD Balai Benih Padi dan Palawija Satuan Pelayanan Plumbon, Dinas Tanaman Pangan dan Hortikultura Provinsi Jawa Barat yang berlokasi di Plumbon, Cirebon, mulai dari bulan Maret sampai Mei 2020. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) dengan perlakuan yang diuji adalah dosis bokashi brangkasan kedelai. Dalam penelitian ini ada tujuh taraf perlakuan yang diuji, yaitu: 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, dan 30 ton/ha Masing-masing perlakuan diulang empat kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa bokashi brangkasan kedelai berpengaruh nyata pada rata-rata tinggi tanaman, rata-rata jumlah daun, rata-rata jumlah anakan, diameter umbi, serta bobot umbi segar per rumpun dan per petak, juga bobot umbi kering per rumpun dan per petak.
