Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan produksi bawang merah yaitu memperhatikan cara tanam dan pupuk yang diberikan. Pemotongan umbi bibit dapat memacu fase vegetatif yang bertujuan menumbuhkan tunas umbi yang ditanam dengan cepat. Pemupukan perlu dilakukan untuk menambah unsur hara ke dalam media tanam, karena keterbatasan tanah dalam menyediakan unsur hara yang cukup. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah perlakuan terhadap umbi bibit bawang merah (K) yang terdiri dari dua taraf yaitu, tanpa pemotongan umbi bibit (K1) dan pemotongan umbi bibit (K2). Faktorial kedua adalah pemberian pupuk NPK yang terdiri dari 100% (N1), 150% (N2), 200% (N3), 250% (N4). Data yang telah diperoleh di analisis menggunakan analisis ragam (uji F). Apabila terdapat pengaruh yang nyata, maka akan dilanjutkan menggunakan uji BNT (Beda Nyata Terkecil) dengan taraf 5%. Penelitian ini menunjukkan perlakuan kombinasi pemotongan umbi bawang dan dosis pemupukan memberikan pengaruh nyata pada semua parameter pertumbuhan dan hasil. Akan tetapi populasi tanaman aren semakin berkurang dan semakin langka karena hanya dapat diperbanyak secara generatif (biji) dan membutuhkan waktu yang lama untuk perkecambahan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perlakuan pematahan dormansi terhadap kemampuan perkecambahan biji aren. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) faktor tunggal dengan 5 ulangan yang terdiri dari 5 perlakuan yaitu tanpa perlakuan (kontrol) (K0), Skarifikasi Mekanis (K1), skarifikasi mekanis + NaOCl 1% selama 10 menit (K2), skarifikasi mekanis + GA3 100 ppm selama 20 menit (K3) dan skarifikasi mekanis + Asam Sulfat 85% selama 50 menit (K4). Terdapat 25 unit percobaan dengan setiap unit percobaan terdiri dari 5 biji aren sehingga diperoleh 125 biji aren. Data yang didapatkan dianalisis dengan Analysis of variance (ANOVA) dengan taraf 5% dan apabila ada perbedaan dilakukan uji lanjut dengan Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) dengan taraf 5%. C. gloesporiodes is a cosmopolitan pathogen so it is important to know which fruits can be infected as a basis for prevention. This study aimed to determine the host range and virulence level of C. gloesporiodes in several postharvest fruits. The research was conducted at the Agrotechnology Intermediate Laboratory, Gunadarma University from March 2022 to April 2022. This study used a completely randomized design consisting of 4 types of fruit (mango, chili, papaya, and tomato) as treatment. Each treatment consisted of 4 units and then repeated 3 times so that there were a total of 48 experimental units. C. gloesporiodes isolate was obtained from mango fruit with anthracnose symptoms. The isolates obtained were inoculated to tomatoes, chilies, papayas, and mangoes as controls. Anthracnose symptoms and lesin diameter were observed at 7 days after inoculation. The diameter of the lesin was measured to determine the level of virulence. The results showed that C. gloesporiodes was able to colonize and infect chilies, papayas, and mangoes as hosts, but there was no inoculated to tomatoes. The ability to colonize and infect is indicated by symptoms in the form of yellow to black spots, sunken, and watery. The virulence category showed different levels in each fruit with a range from very low to moderate. Eggplant growth and production can be increased by using biofertilizers, such as bioboost biofertilizer. The purpose of this study was to obtain the best concentration of bioboost biofertilizer for the growth and production of eggplant. This research was carried at UIN Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau and Laboratory of Agronomy and Agrostology, Faculty of Agriculture and Animal Science, from March to June 2022. The study was carried out using a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments (P0 = positive control, P1 = 20 ml L-1 water, P2 = 40 ml L-1 water, P3 = 60 ml L-1 water, and P4 = 80 ml L-1 l water), which repeated 10 times to obtain 50 experimental units. The results showed that there was a significant effect of giving bioboost biofertilizer on the number of fruits, fruit weight, fresh weight, and plant dry weight. Merr.) umumnya sensitif terhadap salinitas, terhambat pertumbuhannya dan rendah produksinya. Aplikasi bahan pembenah tanah, biochar sekam padi, di tanah salin dapat mengatasai permasalahan budidaya kedelai di tanah tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh biochar sekam padi terhadap beberapa sifat tanah, pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kedelai di lahan salin. Penelitian dilakukan di Greenhouse, Kebun Percobaan Agroteknologi Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Trunojoyo Madura dari Desember 2018 hingga Maret 2019. Percobaan terdiri atas dua faktor, disusun dalam Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Faktor pertama adalah tingkat salinitas, terdiri atas: A0 (0 dS/m), A1 (1 dS/m), A2 (2 dS/m), A3 (4 dS/m) dan A4 (6 dS/m). Sedangkan faktor kedua adalah dosis pemberian biochar sekam padi: B0 (0 ton/ha) dan B1 (10 ton/ha). Dari kombinasi kedua faktor tersebut diperoleh 10 kombinasi perlakuan, yang masing-masing diulang sebanyak 3 kali.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian biochar sekam padi di tanah salin memperbaiki beberapa karakteristik tanah, yaitumeningkatkan kandungan C-organik sebesar 46,77%, KTK dan kandungan K tesediasecara berurutan 46,8%, 4,5% dan 17,2%. The use of vegetable insecticides is effective in controlling pests and has potential as a plant insecticide such as citronella, neem and cloves. This study aims to determine daily mortality and obtain the most effective botanical insecticides in controlling mealybug pests on papaya plants. The study consisted of two stages: (1) assessing the percentage of daily mortality, (2) the effectiveness of citronella oil, neem extract and clove oil vegetable insecticides on papaya seedlings. Daily mortality data were calculated using the daily mortality formula and data on the effectiveness of vegetable insecticides were analyzed using analysis of variance. The results showed that the highest percentage of mortality by giving citronella oil had a 24-hour daily mortality percentage and clove oil at a 48-hour daily mortality percentage. Beberapa faktor yang perlu diperhatikan dalam upaya peningkatan produksi jagung adalah penggunaan varietas unggul baru, pemupukan dan pengaturan populasi tanam. Salah satu komponen teknologi yang paling mudah diadopsi oleh petani adalah Varietas Unggul Baru (VUB) yang memiliki daya hasil yang tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan calon varietas jagung hibrida yang memiliki hasil yang lebih baik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan PT Mulya Agro Sarana, Desa Wonokerto, Kecamatan Plemahan, Kabupaten Kediri, Jawa Timur pada April sampai Agustus 2018. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok yang terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan meliputi 4 calon varietas jagung hibrida MASB1, MASB2, MASB3, MASB4, dan satu varietas jagung hibrida sebagai standar yaitu varietas Bima 20 Uri. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan sidik ragam, jika berbeda nyata akan dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) α = 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa calon varietas jagung hibrida yang prospektif dikembangkan lebih lanjut yaitu MASB3 dan MASB4, hal ini terlihat pada bobot 1000 butir dan produktivitas ton/ha. Penyakit hawar daun bakteri yang disebabkan oleh Xanthomonas oryzae merupakan salah satu penyakit pada tanaman padi. Untuk mengatasi penyakit hawar daun bakteri pada padi umumnya menggunakan bakterisida kimiawi, agens hayati, kitosan dan penggunaan varietas tahan, tetapi penggunaan bakterisida kimiawi yang terus menerus dapat mencemari lingkungan. Pemanfaatan tanaman yang berpotensi sebagai baterisida ramah lingkungan seperti daun sirih dan lengkuas dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu alternatif pengendalian penyakit hawar daun bakteri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui interaksi antara pengaruh jenis ekstrak dan frekuensi aplikasi terhadap komponen patosistem dan komponen pertumbuhan terhadap penyakit hawar daun bakteri pada padi. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari 2 faktor. Faktor pertama yaitu jenis perlakuan (P) yang terdiri dari aquadest (kontrol) (P0), ekstrak daun sirih (P1), dan ekstrak lengkuas (P2), dan faktor kedua adalah frekuensi aplikasi terdiri dari 1 kali/minggu (F1), 2 kali/minggu (F2), dan 3 kali/minggu (F3). Terdapat 9 kombinasi perlakuan dengan 3 kali ulangan, setiap petak percobaan terdiri dari 3 tanaman, sehingga jumlah keseluruhan sampel yang diamati pada penelitian sebanyak 81 unit percobaan. There have been numerous studies conducted on the cultivation and breeding of long beans. However, further research is required to obtain more data on preparation of stomata imprint and morphology. This study aims to examine the optimization and modification of stomatal printing methods on long bean plants to produce imprint in a short time with clear quality. The experiment was carried out from April to June 2021 at the Plant Physiology Laboratory, Department of Agronomy, Faculty of Agriculture, Andalas University, using stomatal printing method on long bean plant leaves. The experiment consisted of two stages: first, the removal of cuticle and trichome; and second, the method of application of the printing material and the drying time of the imprint. Based on the experimental results, it was found that stomatal imprint of long bean plants could be obtained without having to remove the cuticle or trichomes. Applying a thin layer of nail polish for at least 20 minutes can produce 100% imprinted stomata, while using a thin layer of adhesive glue takes at least 10 minutes. Adhesive glue can be used as an alternative to nail polish with faster drying time and clearer imprint results in the stomatal printing method. The stomata number of long bean plants is enormous, with a density of 184-237 per mm2. Permasalahan dari lahan kering tersebut adalah gulma. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan dalam mengontrol gulma adalah olah tanah dan pemberian herbisida. Penelitian ini bertujuan memperoleh sistem pengendalian gulma dan teknik olah tanah terbaik untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil padi gogo di lahan kering Indramayu, Jawa Barat.Percobaan dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2016 sampai bulan April 2017.Variabel pengamatan yang dilakukan meliputi data komponen hasil dan data hasil panen.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pengaruh interaksi antara sistem olah tanah dan teknik pengendalian gulma terhadap jumlah anakan berumur 60 hari setelah tanam (HST), tinggi tanaman pada saat panen, berat 1000 butir dan jumlah malai per rumpun. Pengendalian gulma menunjukkan pengaruh nyata terhadap tinggitanaman pada umur 30 HST dan 60 HST. Gabah per malai dan gabah giling. Perlakuan olah tanah minimum menghasilkan gabah kering tertinggi sebesar 3.69 kg/plot dan tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan dengan perlakuan sistem olah tanah sempurna (3.45 kg/petak).
