In the case of the USEPA method, several age categories of consumers were considered, from 3 years to over 75 years in the acute case, and from 18 years to over 75 years age categories in the chronic case. The results showed that no risks to significant human health were identified. According to the results, it was found that most of the pesticides taken into account do not pose a risk to the population, except for a few cases in which the short-term and long-term evaluation values exceeded the limits at which the pesticides pose a risk to the population represented by children (especially those that have exceeded the maximum allowed residual limit).","PeriodicalId":32445,"journal":{"name":"Annals Series on History and Archaeology Academy of Romanian Scientists","volume":"12 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81858862","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

All this becomes an argument for structuring a coherent concept for harmonising food policy, as well as an issue calling for the integration of food policies. The objective of the study is to raise awareness recently and to propose technical and public policy solutions primarily at local community level, within citizens' groups. The solutions that emerged from the study are those relating to highlighting the elements of principle that provide the framework for the realisation of a Territorial Action Programme in food policy, particularly in densely populated areas. This guide is useful for achieving the necessary synergy between agricultural, environmental and social issues that intersect with the provision of quality food and food aid in a unified concept of Romanian integrated food policy.","PeriodicalId":32445,"journal":{"name":"Annals Series on History and Archaeology Academy of Romanian Scientists","volume":"66 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90789154","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The consumer's electricity and thermal energy needs are controlled by means of a dedicated microgrid system (MG). The optimization strategy was validated by controlling the HVAC system of a building and aims to satisfy two main objectives: i) minimizing the energy absorbed from the traditional electrical network and ii) guaranteeing acceptable thermal comfort conditions. The proposed demand response program is a parameterized feedback control strategy where the parameters depend on the thermal state of the building, but also on the occupancy pattern of the microgrid.","PeriodicalId":32445,"journal":{"name":"Annals Series on History and Archaeology Academy of Romanian Scientists","volume":"40 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86933250","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Our study makes an analysis of the connections that exist between Pyrus pyraster trees and grasslands in terms of floral composition, nutritional and pastoral quality of herbaceous layer, analyzes the amount of nutrients in the soil and necessary for plant development and it also evaluates the production of nutrients per hectare, both under the canopy of Pyrus pyraster trees, as well as in the open field. The number of species found in the herbaceous layer of shady ground is with 22 % larger than in the open field, and the participation of fodder species is 24 % higher under the canopy of trees than in the land in full sun. The most found species under trees is Lolium perenne, it’s participation percentaje being almost 4 times higher than in the open field, this influencing the green mass production which is 14 t/ha. The nutritional value of the feed consumed by the animals grazed is very good being supplemented in the autumn months with ripe forest pear fruits.","PeriodicalId":32445,"journal":{"name":"Annals Series on History and Archaeology Academy of Romanian Scientists","volume":"8 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"84560783","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the current context of the circular economy, we integrated camelina meal, the Mădălina variety, into quail feed. The study was performed on a sample of 200 birds for 14 days in optimal temperature and humidity conditions, thus researching different integration options such as the farmer's simple feed option, mix of camelina meal with farmer's feed, mix of probiotic-enhanced camelina meal and feed used by the farmer. Quails fed camelina meal-enhanced forage and probiotic had 4.06% higher productivity than those fed camelina meal-enhanced forage and 11.30% higher productivity than those fed only forage. No major changes were observed in quail births and deaths.","PeriodicalId":32445,"journal":{"name":"Annals Series on History and Archaeology Academy of Romanian Scientists","volume":"91 5 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87738530","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It should be noted that the political event of 1859 and, above all, the figure of Alexandru Ioan Cuza, had lasting influences well after 1866, both in the lives of ordinary Romanians and in those of the cultural, religious and political elites. The examples provided by us will support the view that has been already established in our country’s ancient and modern historiography, according to which the pre-modern and modern times served as a consistent and sound foundation for the creation of Greater Romania in 1918, from a social, economic, cultural, political and moral perspective.","PeriodicalId":32445,"journal":{"name":"Annals Series on History and Archaeology Academy of Romanian Scientists","volume":"54 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86387342","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Their combination revealed synergistic effects on colon (HCT116), breast (T47D) tumor cells, hepatocellular carcinoma, and periodontal disease. The review also addresses the interaction between these plant extracts with ceramic materials such as hydroxyapatite (HAP) and carotenoids with concrete examples of biomedical applications. Silymarin’s interaction with chemotherapeutic drugs (doxorubicin-DOX, paclitaxel-PCT and 5-Fluorouracil-5-FLU) and gold nanoparticles-GNPs and silver nanoparticles-SNPs is also debated. All these combinations can form composites of major importance in the biomedical field and to contribute significantly to orthopedic surgery where materials are needed for implants that face severe infections. This short review highlights the variety of multifunctional nanoparticles that open new opportunities in cancer treatment and the need to use the Langmuir Blodgett Technique that mimics the biological membrane and provides rich medical information.","PeriodicalId":32445,"journal":{"name":"Annals Series on History and Archaeology Academy of Romanian Scientists","volume":"6 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"76962245","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
