The difficulties faced by students also vary because students have different characteristics. This research aims to: (1) to find out the difficulties of students in the process of learning to read in grade III SDN 1 Bangkelekila’. (2) to find out the role of homeroom teacher in solving the problem of learning difficulties in reading for grade III to 1 students of Bangkelekila. The subject ini this research is the homeroom teacher og class III. This type of research is qualitative research with a case study research design. The informant of this research is the homeroom teacher. Data collection procedures used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, verification, checking the validity of the findings. The research stage includes the pre-field, stage the implementation stage, the data analysis stage the completion stage. The approach used in the research is a qualitative approach and classroom action research (CAR) which consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Research subject are the fifth grade students of SDN 119 Sarira as many as 30 people consisting of 12 boys and 18 girls. The research instrument used was the teacher’s observation sheet and the student observation sheet. II increased with a completeness level of 70% with a good category. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of correlation research and is analyzed using the help of Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS). This research because all members of the population are sampled, namely 33 people. Data collection technique in this study are documentation and questionnaires. Documentation technique is used to obtain data on the value of students’ mathematics learning outcomes and documentation when conducting research. Questionnaire technique is used to obtain data about learning facilities at home for IV grade students. Based on the results of data analysis with the product moment correlation test, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between learning facilities at home and the mathematics learning outcomes of IV grade students at SDN 113 Inpres Tiromanda. This is evidenced by the result of research and analysis of the data obtained, that thitimt 0,631 >tabd 0,344. The aim of this study is to further examine the impact of the cost of education on people with economic limitations in pursuing higher education. The method used is descriptive, with the result being a descriptive form. The data collection technique used a literature study technique. The results of the literature review state that the cost of higher education is very important to ensure the implementation of education. However, given the high public and private costs of higher education in Indonesia, economic constraints are also a barrier to students' willingness to pursue higher education. This results in the community being less able to make many impacts, so it impacts on awareness raising, street children and crime. Therefore, it needs government attention, one of which is to provide opportunities for people who do not have access to the world of education, so that both rich and poor can have equal rights in education. In this study, learning outside the classroom is conducted to complete the assignment of Indonesian subjects with the topic \"Students' Storytelling Ability\". This study aims to determine whether learning outside the classroom is effective in improving students' storytelling ability. The method used in this research is expost-facto by using an instrument for assessing students' storytelling ability. The study was conducted in Elementary School Cluster 2 Iwal in the 5th grade of 24 students. The results showed an increase in the average score of students in terms of storytelling ability after the learning outside the classroom compared to the existing learning (classroom learning) before outside learning activities were carried out.Abstrak:Pembelajaran luar kelas dilakukan guru kelas untuk meningkatkan kompetensi siswa pada suatu mata pelajaran tertentu. Pembelajaran luar kelas pada penelitian ini untuk melengkapi tugas mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dengan materi “Kemampuan Bercerita Siswa”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah pembelajaran di luar kelas efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan bercerita siswa. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah expost-facto dengan menggunakan instrumen penilaian kemampuan bercerita siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD 2 Iwul kelas 5 yang terdiri dari 24 siswa. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach with case study research at the LIPs (Language Intensive Program of Boarding Junior High School of Nurul Jadid) Paiton, Probolinggo. The instruments used were observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation to support the completeness of the data. The data analysis technique was carried out through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion of research results. The findings indicated that the MSH method was applied with the stages of Memorizing new vocabulary and pronunciation, Speak Up, or integrating the use of new vocabulary in speaking activities, and habituation of foreign language activities. This study shows the implication that with the MSH method, LIPs members can master 4 English skills (listening, writing, reading, and speaking) correctly even though it requires high discipline.Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis serta mengkaji penggunaan metode MSH (Memorize-Speak Up-Habituation) terhadap keterampilan penguasaan berbahasa asing, khususnya bahasa Inggris. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus di lembaga LIPs (Language Intensive Program of SMP Nurul Jadid) Paiton, Probolinggo. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini mengunakan observasi dan wawancara mendalam serta dokumentasi untuk mendukung kelengkapan data. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tahap pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penyimpulan hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode MSH diterapkan dengan tahapan Memorize (mengingat) kosakata baru serta pelafalannya; Speak Up (berbicara) atau mengintegrasikan penggunaan kosakata baru dalam kegiatan speaking (berbicara); dan Habituation (pembiasaan) kegiatan berbahasa asing. Penelitian ini adalah nonequivalent control grup design yakni terdapat dua kelompok yang tidak dipilih secara random. Dalam penelitian ini sampel yang diambil adalah kelas V dengan jumlah 39 siswa, terdiri dari laki-laki sebanyak 20 siswa dan perempuan  sebanyak 19 siswa, dengan pertimbangan bahwa kelas V merupakan kelas dengan tingkat kemampuan kerjasama siswa yang kurang baik dibandingkan dengan kelas lain. This study describes the teacher's efforts in overcoming reading difficulties and the difficulties faced by students when reading. This type of research is a qualitative research with a descriptive design. This study focused on analyzing the teacher's efforts in overcoming reading difficulties. Data obtained by: observation, interviews and documentation. After this research was carried out, it was found that there were some children who still had difficulty in reading especially during this covid-19 pandemic, in this case it was influenced by limited learning at school so that when students returned home students became lazy to read, teachers at school tried to find solutions to overcome the problems of students who have difficulty reading by always accompanying students while studying and outside of learning according to the difficulties of the students, paying special attention, creating an atmosphere in the classroom to create a pleasant learning atmosphere.
