In Indian power sector various network users are based on a regional postage stamp method for wheeling prices. But due to changed scenario, postage stamp method does not satisfy Indian electricity policy. It is because of non linear power flow plays an important role to decide wheeling prices across transmission lines. So flow based MW-mile method for real power and MVA-mile method for real and reactive power wheeling price assessment is used now on national level. To increase efficiency of both flow based methods different optimization techniques are to be used. In this paper wheeling prices are allocated for Indian utility 62 bus system by using MVA-mile and MW-mile method based on genetic algorithm approach for optimum power flow calculation.","PeriodicalId":322442,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Emerging Trends in Electrical Electronics & Sustainable Energy Systems (ICETEESES)","volume":"48 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-03-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134396169","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Now a day, many computer vision techniques have been proposed to characterize the facial activities in the three levels (from local to global). First level is the bottom level, in which the facial feature tracking focuses on detecting and tracking of the prominent local landmarks surrounding facial components (e.g. mouth, eyebrow, etc), in second level the facial action units (AUs) characterize the specific behaviors of these local facial components (e.g. mouth open, eyebrow raiser, etc) and the third level is facial expression level, which represents subjects emotions (e.g. Surprise, Happy, Anger, etc.) and controls the global muscular movement of the whole face. Most of the existing methods focus on one or two levels of facial activities, and track (or recognize) them separately. In this paper, various facial action tracking models and techniques are compared in different conditions such as the performance of Active Facial Tracking for Fatigue Detection, Real Time 3D Face Pose Tracking from an Uncalibrated Camera, Simultaneous facial action tracking and expression recognition using a particle filter and Simultaneous Tracking and Facial Expression Recognition using Multiperson and Multiclass Autoregressive Models.","PeriodicalId":322442,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Emerging Trends in Electrical Electronics & Sustainable Energy Systems (ICETEESES)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-03-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130268656","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The MIMO antenna system consists of two monopoles of meander-line structure. The separation between two antenna elements is 20 mm which is approximately 0.33λ0 at 5 GHz. Two U-shaped slots are used to produce defective ground structure (DGSs) to reduce the mutual coupling between two monopoles. In this way, the return loss and isolation of the MIMO system can be improved. The designed antenna has coupling isolation of higher than 22 dB in operating band. The bandwidth of 25% with |S11|≤ -10 dB is achieved from 4.9 to 6.3 GHz frequency range. It covers the Wi-Fi band from 5.2 to 5.8 GHz. The directive efficiency of developed antenna is higher than 89% for operating band. The lower efficiency loss shows the effectiveness of designed antenna.","PeriodicalId":322442,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Emerging Trends in Electrical Electronics & Sustainable Energy Systems (ICETEESES)","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-03-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130271584","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Implementation of various standards and guidelines such as IEEE-519 gradually encouraged both utility and customers to share their responsibilities and to maintain PQ within the acceptable limits. Harmonic distortions are considered one of the most significant reasons for PQ problems due to massive increase of nonlinear and power electronics loads. This paper presents a preliminary survey to determine the harmonics injected by the different commonly used loads that are existed in the low voltage secondary distribution system. The effect of harmonics distortion is also outlined. The experimental results reveal the importance of harmonics related appropriate regulation and policy to be recommended by the concern power authority to maintain harmonics within the permissible limit.","PeriodicalId":322442,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Emerging Trends in Electrical Electronics & Sustainable Energy Systems (ICETEESES)","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-03-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114871307","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The flow of fuel into chamber of furnace, basically limits the gas pressure inside furnace. So, proper relation between fuel flow rate and gas pressure inside furnace is essential to ensure a proper utilization of heat with minimum settling time and minimum overshoot, so that safety is not compromised. This paper enlightens design of a proper integer order model (IOM) of heating furnace which is further converted into a fractional order model (FOM). This fractional order model is used with PID controllers in closed loop. For enhancing the performance of PID controller, fractional elements are used. Therefore, PIλDμ controller is optimized properly for a smooth, low overshoot response with a very low settling time. These proposed results may be implemented properly in small scale furnaces or large scale industrial furnaces.","PeriodicalId":322442,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Emerging Trends in Electrical Electronics & Sustainable Energy Systems (ICETEESES)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-03-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121442413","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Designed antenna can serve 5G cellular network as well as advance device-to-device (D2D) network which is special feature of 5G communication system to reduce end-to-end latency and to implement Mission Critical Push-To-Talk Communication (MCPTT) and Vehicle-to-Anything (V2X) Communication. Designed antenna has peakgain of 9 dB and very high efficiency. Return loss for given bands at their resonant frequencies are as low as -35dB and total bandwidth of 9.57 GHz. Silicon is used under feeding network to enhance the bandwidth and reduce the size of feeding network and low dielectric material under patch to reduce dielectric loss thus maintaining the efficiency. Symmetrical parallel feeding network is used to enhance gain. Inset fed with quarter wave transformers are used for feeding and matching, along with maintaining the conformity. It reflects the state of heart and is very much useful in disease diagnosis. Since, ECG signal contains high frequency noise which is well known as power line interference hence, it must be removed for the further processing This paper presents an algorithm, developed for denoising high frequency noise from ECG signal which is based on moving average filter. The filtering process is followed by an algorithm for smoothing the ECG signal using polynomial curve fitting. Its denoising performance is implemented, smoothened and compared in C++ environment.
