There is a large and diverse number of topics and problems elaborated by D. Jovanović within the mentioned question. The paper will discuss Jovanović's views on the village and the city, i.e. differences and interdependence between these two types of settlements. We have tried to see Jovanović's understanding of the relationship between the village and the town at several levels, bearing in mind that in his papers the town almost always appears in the service of a better understanding of the village and the peasant. The paper is based on the analysis of Dragoljub Jovanović's available papers, as well as the literature that deals with the author's life and work. Where necessary, we have also considered other relevant literature related to the topic of the paper. Taking into account the fact that D. Jovanović's work is insufficiently known in the field of sociology, the aim of the research was to find relevant sociological insights of this author into the relationship between the village and the town. The school is expected to adapt its way of working with students to new needs, in order to develop certain segments from a number of individual and social abilities as a capacity for social success - social competence. The aim of this study is to determine the degree of empowerment of women farmers in South-eastern Serbia. The initial assumption is that the degree of empowerment of women farmers in this part of Serbia is low. The empirical study, conducted using a specially designed questionnaire, encompassed 132 women farmers in the Municipality of Svrljig. The results indicate a low degree of empowerment among women who participate in agricultural production, because a low percentage of the women own agricultural resources and make independent decisions about agricultural production. This paper analyses the transfer of power from societies to tech companies and algorithms with the aim of examining whether recommender algorithms can be considered a public good. Deployed methods include content analysis and literature reviews. The study has found that control exercised over public opinion, decisions and moods of online users is unprecedented to such a high degree in human history. The above-mentioned control is based on the impact of both tech companies and algorithms. The limitation of this research is the lack of quantitative analysis. In the societies with stagnating income, epidemics have had a tendency of decreasing inequalities, and that is why they are defined as malign forces leading to the fall in inequalities. On the other hand, in the societies with increasing income, their authority was omitted under the supposition that they can no longer be an active factor of the increase or decrease in inequalities. The merging of art, architecture, politics, and ecology into one utopian concept oriented towards the future positioned Hundertwasser not only an architectural experimenter but also as a specific visionary of ecological architecture. Throughout his lifetime, Hundertwasser opposed the so-called \"mainstream\" culture and materialism, which later contributed to his popularity. This popularity is certainly limited just as for those circles of social activists who believed that architecture must possess a \"human figure\". He was a man who, through art, knowledge of nature and its processes, created a new chapter in various fields, such as painting and design, all the way to architecture and the fight to preserve nature. This paper deals with the contribution of an unconventional artist to architecture and ecology. The introductory discussion approximates the significance of sustainable architecture, while the first part of the paper presents a brief biographical overview of Hundertwasser's character and oeuvre, as well as his understanding of life.
