The event log contains information of patient, date/time of the treatment, medical procedures, responsible staff, and case IDs. The goal of this research to verify the conformity of the desinated process workflow using Mine Transition Systems by comparing it with the actual activities recorded in the log file. By using a generated model (Petri Net), a guideline can be developed and used to improve the overall performance of the medical process. The inconsistency between the anticipated workflow and the extracted one from the log file history were found in this study. The main issue was an extensive delay in waiting time for treatment and for payment (prior to medication dispense). These results and findings can be presented to the people that are in charge and hence be used to solve this issue towards better service performance of the hospital.","PeriodicalId":321584,"journal":{"name":"2016 14th International Conference on ICT and Knowledge Engineering (ICT&KE)","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134374129","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Conway's renowned evolutionary problem Game of Life attracts researchers for its capability to transfer the deputized patterns from a generation to its next. In this paper, we propose an efficient solution to this Game problem. In the implementation of the proposed solution a higher abstraction has been used to partition the program into serial and parallel regions. This abstraction improves the performances of the proposed scheme over the existing conventional schemes for all possible design approaches. The paper also illustrates the possible enhancements of the proposed solution to solve the complex combinatorial and biological problems of the real world.","PeriodicalId":321584,"journal":{"name":"2016 14th International Conference on ICT and Knowledge Engineering (ICT&KE)","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115336754","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They may be asymptomatic or may give rise to undifferentiated fever, dengue fever (DF), dengue haemorrhagic fever (DHF), or dengue shock syndrome (DSS). The number of dengue cases at Jember reported increased from 77 in 2011 to 923 in 2015 and case fatality rate exceeded 1.3 in 2011 and over 1.6 in 2015. The main obstacles of dengue surveillance are occurred due to lack of public response to the onset of dengue viral infections cases in the surrounding environment, reporting cases from the hospitals, clinics, or community health centre have been delayed because of accessibility factor and manual written report. Without the validity of the information from dengue patient data, epidemiological investigation can't provide valuable information to control ongoing outbreaks. To overcome these problems, the development of prevention information system of dengue viral infections plays crucial role in the identifying cases and obtaining information from them to decide what actions must be taken by Health Department of Jember to control and eliminate outbreaks. To build robust prevention information system is used the hybrid model to combine both Waterfall and Agile. Leveraging both the Waterfall and Agile approach ensures the success of the project. It removes the disadvantages of both the models while bringing together the advantages of both. The objective of this paper is to highlight the importance of the hybrid model to successfully develop and implement prevention information system of dengue viral infections at Jember to restrict mosquito-borne spreading.","PeriodicalId":321584,"journal":{"name":"2016 14th International Conference on ICT and Knowledge Engineering (ICT&KE)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114964852","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Supermarket purchasing-data is often dynamic and can significantly fluctuate via seasonal, bargain-sale, and regular-sale trends. When data are analyzed inclusive of such trends, it is usually necessary to account for these trends within the acquired statistical sets to prevent biasing of results. For this subject evaluation, time-series data were evaluated for each day during a two-year period; however, data trends were ultimately extensively modified during the subject collection period. In addition, detection of outliers (representing a higher day's sales)was successfully carried out at any given time during the data acquisition interval. In this analysis, a two-step process was ultimately employed that converted non-stationary data into stationary data. Firstly, a period of data was contracted; secondly, trend-removal of data was performed through component decomposition (via the use of a state-space model). As the study team applied these two approaches, outliers were regularly detected. Identification of a product sale date, however, could not be adequately represented within the estimated component of a state-space model.","PeriodicalId":321584,"journal":{"name":"2016 14th International Conference on ICT and Knowledge Engineering (ICT&KE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128667375","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
