Abstract
Operative medical procedure is a critical task which requires an immediate attention. Every second can determine a future of a patient. This research aims to apply a process mining technique called "Mine with Inductive Visual Miner" with the purpose of detecting potential problems/discrepancies within the collected data and improving the quality of service in the surgical procedure department of a hospital in Thailand. The main objective of the study is to identify the existing problems and make recommendations to resolve the bottlenecks and/or repetition based on the generated process graphs.
