At important moments in his life, the emperor always returned to these cities. With this work, we tried to contribute to the study of the cities of the Roman provinces during the reign of Emperor Constantine. In his time, the Roman Empire was faced with various trials, however, Emperor Constantine remained attached to Nis, Nicomedia and Constantinople, thereby confirming that both emperors and ordinary people are attached to certain places as the cornerstones of their existencе.","PeriodicalId":321485,"journal":{"name":"Leskovački zbornik","volume":"84 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126011323","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The material was found and given as a present to the museum by the museum’s cooperative Vladimir Aranđelović, and the archaeological site where he has found the cult tables is Kućište, in the village of Čekmin, 15 km away from Leskovac. Fragmented cult tables were presented in the paper, characteristic for the Early Neolithic period, and this type of cult items follows the Neolithic way of life. There are seven different fragments of cult tables that include recipients, legs and basis, as well as their ornaments. Beside the new ones, there is one more published fragmented cult table from the same site kept in the Prehistoric exhibition of the National museum of Leskovac, dated to the Late Neolithic period, too. The cult tables presented here from Čekmin, Kućište are dated to Vinča cultural group, Late Neolithic period, 5700/5500-4700/4500 BC.","PeriodicalId":321485,"journal":{"name":"Leskovački zbornik","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133014519","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These factors, together with the reforms of Maria Theresa and Emperor Joseph II on the one hand and the collapse of the Ottoman order in the Balkans on the other, led to key changes in the integration of the Serbian people. The Russo-Turkish war of 1768-1774 apparently indirectly affected the Serb people. However, during this period, the Habsburg Monarchy prescripted a series of border regulations that were most directly related to the Serb people. Also, the change of priorities in its eastern policy led to the fact that in 1774, as a reward for mediation in peace concluding, the Habsburg Monarchy received Bukovina instead of Belgrade. Russia gained the right to protect Christians in the Ottoman Empire with the Peace of Kuchuk-Kainardji, which gave it the opportunity to influence in Ottoman internal affairs. The mentioned clause turned out to be an important factor in the future development of Russian -Turkish relations, which, despite the change of priorities and reorientation to Italy and the German states, the Habsburg Monarchy had to count on, which significantly reflected on the historical past of the Serbian people. Based on relevant sources and literature, the paper discusses the factors that influenced the integration of the Serbian National Corps in the period before the Serbian Revolution and the change in the aims of the uprising from improving the situation in Belgrade Pashalik to full independence.","PeriodicalId":321485,"journal":{"name":"Leskovački zbornik","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121231176","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The foundation of a new party was triggered by Cvetković–Maček’s Agreement and establishment of Banovina Hrvatska. In its program, Serbian Radical Party did not specify the borders of Serbia but the stood firmly on the position that Serbian interests in Yugoslavia were threatened by this agreement. The party called for unity of all Serbs within Yugoslavia, denying any possibility of division of Bosnia that was considered Serbian. After Stojadinovićʼs arrest activities of the party weaken and completely ceased to exist after the German occupation in the spring 1941.During the Fifties Serbian Radical Party shortly renewed its existence abroad. This was connected with Stojadinović’s actions in Argentina and his negotiations with Ante Pavelić, former leader of the Independent State of Croatia. Both politicians advocated for dissolution of Yugoslavia. There are some sources claiming that the agreement was made about the borders that separate future independent states, Serbia and Croatia. However, this second hand information is more rumor than a fact. In the aftermath of his adventure with Pavelić, and clash with some Serbian politician in exile, Stojadinović lost interest in the party. In 1961 after the death of its founder Serbian Radical Party ceased to exist.","PeriodicalId":321485,"journal":{"name":"Leskovački zbornik","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122268708","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

On the other hand, the USA and Great Britain, through their missions and representatives on the ground, saw the partisans at the beginning of the war as an extended arm of Moscow, then as cooperative guerrillas towards whom a “smart policy” should be conducted, until full recognition and military assistance in the unraveling of civil war in Serbia. During all that time, however, Josip Broz Tito and the leadership of the communist movement maintained a kind of mimicry, which can be seen from their correspondence with the Comintern: even at the time of the greatest rapprochement with the West, their prejudices about those countries as an ideological enemy remained alive. As time went on, and the Red Army was closer to Serbia, these differences became more noticeable and the partisans turned more and more clearly towards their original ideological ally. The victory of the partisans in the civil war was conditioned by the help of both the East and the West, in the military, political and propaganda fields. In this sense, new research shows that the theses presented earlier about the authentic revolution of the Yugoslav partisans are scientifically unsustainable.","PeriodicalId":321485,"journal":{"name":"Leskovački zbornik","volume":"117 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121417290","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The basic question concerns the origin and development of nations in this area, that is, the construction of synthetic identities and nations as agreed nations. Therefore, in the first part, the authors provide an overview of scientific knowledge concerning nations and identities and derive a theoretical model of synthetic nations, as an attempt to comprehensively respond to a complex phenomenon. In the second part of the paper, based on previous scientific knowledge, the authors analyze the process of the creation of the Bosniak nation and its development from the 19th to the end of the 20th century, when it was internationally recognized. Finally, aware of the facts about the process of the creation of the Bosniak nation, that is, the new Bosniakism of Alija Izetbegović, the authors derive security risks for the Republic of Srpska.","PeriodicalId":321485,"journal":{"name":"Leskovački zbornik","volume":"2016 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125727875","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
