Indonesia is supported by geographical conditions that have two seasons, namely summer and rainy season. This condition causes fruits and vegetables to flourish in Indonesia. Fruit is a healthy food source for humans. Fruit is very beneficial for humans and contains lots of vitamins. The introduction of fruit benefits must be started early on from children. From the results of the pre-test, it found that there were still 32% of elementary school students who knew of the vitamins contained in the fruit. To overcome this, researchers made an educational game application for the introduction of fruit and vitamins based on Android. From the results of the post-test, 72% of students understood the type of vitamin on the fruit. From the results of this post-test, the application developed can help improve children's abilities by 39% from the prior state. In terms of application usability, get an average rating of 82%. This tool has visual imagery similar to colorful hats, with a specific point of view. The white hat acts as an information source, black hat identifies threats, the red hat represents emotion and intuition, the yellow hat identifies support and strength, the green hat stimulates creative ideas, and the blue hat becomes the leader of the discussion. This is a one-group post-test only experiment. The data is analyzed descriptively and interpreted qualitatively. The instrument is rubrics for analysis, also documentation and interview. The result shows that the average of the analysis scored 27,5 (out of 57) in a \"moderate\" level. This means students give short analysis with less-detailed description and the reasoning is less clear. The order from the lowest to the highest score is: yellow (scored 1,1)- white (1,2)-green (1,3)-red (1,5)-black (2,0). Although the result is still in the middle level, it still can be seen that this method is very potential to assist students to think critically, with a step by step development.","PeriodicalId":32068,"journal":{"name":"Journal of EST Educational Science And Technology","volume":"22 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-04-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"75131057","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study uses research and development methods. The development procedure adopts the Lee and Owens model with four stages, namely: analysis stage, design stage, developing and implementation stage, and evaluation stage. At the evaluation stage several stages are carried out, namely: Alpha test to determine the validity of product feasibility conducted by material experts and design expert. Then proceed with a beta test carried out to one group. The research subjects were students of class X majoring in Multimedia. The instrument used in this research is a validation sheet and questionnaire sheet. The results of the qualitative data will be converted into quantitative data using a scale from 1 to 4, then the rating scale is converted to determine the feasibility of the project based learning e-module PBL. The results show that the appraisal of the feasibility of the product gets a decent feasibility from the design expert and is very feasible from the material expert. Evaluation on beta tests found that 8.6% considered quite feasible, 71.4% said it was feasible, and 20% said it was very feasible.","PeriodicalId":32068,"journal":{"name":"Journal of EST Educational Science And Technology","volume":"11 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90982603","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
