Cilj je rada analizom sekundarnih izvora istražitipovijesni razvoj turizma grada Poreča, jedne od danas najpoznatijihturističkih destinacija u Hrvatskoj. Prvi dio rada posvećen je analizi ranihputopisa i putnika koji su, od kasnoga srednjeg vijeka i renesanse pa sve do19. stoljeća, posjetili i opisali grad Poreč. Glavni dio rada detaljno analizirapovijesni razvoj turizma na području grada Poreča od polovice 19. stoljećado Drugoga svjetskog rata. To je period koji označava početak modernogaturističkog razvoja grada; objavu prvih turističkih vodiča, organiziraneposjete grada te razvoj moderne turističke infrastrukture. Namely, the band’s current and former\u0000members have been vocal about their stance on animal cruelty and human\u0000impact on the environment, also reflected in the band’s lyrics and imagery.\u0000Their positions are supported by, to use the terms coined by Keith KahnHarris, the utilization of discursive, bodily, as well as sonic transgressions.\u0000With that in mind, the goal of this paper is to examine the ways in which\u0000these transgressions, or rather, forms of “extremism,” collaborate, reinforce,\u0000and strengthen each other. {"title":"The Goat-God Motif in Heavy Metal Music","authors":"Bernard Špoljarić","doi":"10.32728/studpol/2021.10.01.06","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.32728/studpol/2021.10.01.06","url":null,"abstract":"Since its emergence as a recognizable artistic endeavor, heavy metal\u0000has brought and enabled an authentic aesthetics in the wider culture: not\u0000only has it shaped its own unmistakable sonic “landscape”, but it has also\u0000shaped forms of visual presentation. Taken together, heavy metal has an\u0000adequate language for the communication of the ideas and motifs that are\u0000in its foundations. As art is one of the ways in which human beings gain\u0000an understanding of the self and the world (the other ways are philosophy,\u0000science, mythology, etc.) it is no surprise the art engages with various ways\u0000of perceiving. It is not only that these different ways correspond with each\u0000other, but are often the subject of one another as well. Heavy metal music is\u0000no exception as it also relies and draws its content from the phenomena of\u0000the world at large, and from introspection as well: the realms of the psyche.\u0000The mythical motif of the goat-like god Pan is a motif relating to both the\u0000outside world and the psyche: it expresses many things: divinity, humanity,\u0000nature, animalism, horror, psychosis, sexuality, countermovement and\u0000contrast as well as the cultivation of the individual and the community\u0000in the arts of dance and music. Claiming that Pan as motif has attained a\u0000significant place in the art of heavy metal as a symbol is an understatement,\u0000given that the discursive approximation and the exegesis of the Pan Mythos can indeed clarify the overall aesthetic and form of heavy metal and some\u0000of its numerous subgenres specifically. {"title":"Destinacijski menadžment u funkciji razvoja kulturnog turizma kontinentalne Hrvatske - primjer destinacije Križevci","authors":"Tea Golja, Romana Lekić","doi":"10.32728/studpol/2020.09.01.06","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.32728/studpol/2020.09.01.06","url":null,"abstract":"Konkurentnost turističke destinacije definira se kao njezina sposobnost da kreira i sustavno integrira turističke proizvode, odnosno usluge i doživljaje više dodane vrijednosti. Razvoj destinacijskog menadžmenta i strateško pozicioniranje kroz odabrane turističke proizvode, odnosno doživljaje te upravljanje kako lancem vrijednosti s jedne strane, tako i iskustvom posjetitelja s druge, su uvjeti bez kojih se niti jedna destinacija ne može razviti. Turistički proizvod se formira prvenstveno na destinacijskoj, a dijelom i na regionalno razini, čime regije i (u novije vrijeme) destinacije postaju sredstvo razmjene, odnosno ono što se na turističkom tržištu nudi i prodaje. Stoga proces upravljanja turističkim destinacijama, iako u velikoj mjeri virtualan i nestandardiziran, danas postaje ne samo važnim nego i nužnim poslom i pretpostavkom za konkurentski i održivi rast turizma destinacije – bez obzira na njenu veličinu.\u0000Svrha ovog istraživanja je utvrditi mogućnosti i prilike za razvoj proizvoda kulturnog turizma u Križevcima. Provedena su istraživanja u destinaciji i to fokus grupe i anketno ispitivanje. Cilj je dvojaki. Primarno želi se potaknuti osmišljavanje inovativnih proizvoda kulturnog turizma temeljeno na resursnoj osnovi Križevaca. Sekundarno, želi se ukazati na prilike za unapređenje, posebice na važnost i ulogu destinacijskog menadžmenta u razvoju faktora atraktivnosti koji snažno utječu na destinacijsku konkurentnost. U radu se uspostavlja poveznica između teorijskog određenja koncepta kulturnog turizma i destinacijskog menadžmenta te rezultata empirijskih istraživanja. Rezultati ukazuju da lokalno stanovništvo prepoznaju resursnu osnovu Križevaca kao snažan potencijal za razvoj proizvoda kulturnog turizma. No, evidentan je jaz između sadašnje ponude doživljaja kulturnog turizma i mogućnosti koje destinacija ima s obzirom na svoju resursnu osnovu. Zbog toga autori predlažu nekoliko inovativnih proizvoda kulturnog turizma kojima se može obogatiti ponuda ove turističke destinacije. {"title":"Emigrazione artigiana stagionale dalle montagne del bellunese ai paesi dell’Europa centro-orientale tra fine ottocento e inizi novecento","authors":"Laura Campanale","doi":"10.32728/studpol/2020.09.01.07","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.32728/studpol/2020.09.01.07","url":null,"abstract":"Il presente contributo tratta dei flussi migratori stagionali che tra fine Ottocento e inizi Novecento si diressero dalla montagna veneta verso i territori dell’Europa centro-orientale. Soprattutto il Bellunese fu interessato a partire dalla metà dell’Ottocento da una considerevole migrazione stagionale verso l’Europa centro-orientale, che, in inverno, trovò impiego nella ristrutturazione stradale e ferroviaria o nei lavori connessi al taglio delle piante. Nei mesi estivi se ne aggiunse, tuttavia, un’altra di venditori ambulanti di dolciumi, a cui subentrò in seguito la vendita del gelato. Tracce di entrambi i flussi si rinvengono nei racconti orali del mio campione che riferisce di una forma singolare e tuttora attiva di emigrazione stagionale. Praticata dal lontano 1880 da intere vallate dell’Alto Veneto, essa si rivolse inizialmente a Vienna e ai territori limitrofi dell’Impero asburgico e, subito dopo la II guerra mondiale, soprattutto alla Germania. Il materiale qui proposto, desunto dalla mia tesi di dottorato dal titolo I gelatieri veneti in Germania. Un’indagine sociolinguistica, pubblicata nel 2006 dalla Peter Lang di Francoforte sul Meno, si fonda su un’indagine quantitativa e qualitativa. In Ungheria, gli anni Venti e Trenta furono contrassegnati da profonde trasformazioni geopolitiche e instabilità economica, il che portò vaste fasce della popolazione all’orlo di una crisi esistenziale: per il proletariato dell’epoca, e non solo per esso, oppressione e miseria erano all’ordine del giorno. Facendo riferimento\u0000al documento originale, una relazione anonima trasmessa al Conte e\u0000Provveditore della città istriana, custodito nell’archivio della biblioteca\u0000Universitaria di Pola, si riporta il tragitto della comitiva austro-ungarica\u0000e, più dettagliatamente, l’incontro del gruppo con l’anonimo informatore\u0000dell’allora Reggitore della città istriana, Angelo Maria Orio, neanch’egli\u0000nominato nella relazione. Il documento, accanto all’interesse odeporico-\u0000culturale dello scritto, rileva pure interessanti notizie di carattere storico-\u0000politico, quali le nascoste motivazioni che hanno portato gli illustri\u0000personaggi a ricercare quante più informazioni sulla città, sul porto e\u0000sulle vie di comunicazione di Pola; il loro interessamento in merito alle\u0000politiche economiche e di difesa della Serenissima in queste terre, a meno\u0000di dieci anni dalla caduta della stessa. {"title":"DUBROVNIK BY TADIJANOVIĆ - A SPACE OF INTIMATE IN THE SERVICE OF THE ETERNAL","authors":"Tonći Lazibat","doi":"10.32728/studpol/2019.08.01.04","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.32728/studpol/2019.08.01.04","url":null,"abstract":"From the very beginnings of its founding, the city has had a great\u0000significance: started as the center of social life, in a diachronic sense it\u0000has become a place of gathering of different centers of power, the public\u0000space, as well as the space of the private - by weaving collective and\u0000individual memory into it. The latter is recognized in Tadijanović’s Poems\u0000of Dubrovnik, a collection of fourteen poems for which the poet finds\u0000inspiration in the Town of Poets, over and over again, during the seventy-\u0000years time span. It is the city he loved from the very first moment, but\u0000in which he was loved as well, thus he often comes back in his thoughts,\u0000linking past, present and future. We have highlighted the four phases of\u0000his writing inspired by the Eternal City and have related the theme-motive\u0000background with the poet’s age. It is noticed that, in relation to the youthful\u0000and playful first love, the worries, the enthusiasm and the exhilaration, his\u0000later lyric is pervaded by philosophical concerns about the meaning of life,\u0000death, transience and the life’s drab, but he does not therefor diminish the\u0000importance of Dubrovnik. {"title":"THE ENVIRONMENT OF THE PHLEGRAEAN FIELDS BETWEEN BIBLIOGRAPHIC AND ICONOGRAPHIC SOURCES","authors":"Matteo Borriello","doi":"10.32728/studpol/2019.08.01.08","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.32728/studpol/2019.08.01.08","url":null,"abstract":"Since ancient times, the Phlegraean Fields were one of the most\u0000popular travel destinations.\u0000For the particular geological characteristics of the territory, the\u0000nobility of ancient Rome built numerous pleasure villas, especially in\u0000the area between Pozzuoli, Baia and Bacoli, and later, in the modern and\u0000contemporary age, the travellers of the Grand Tour made the Phlegraean\u0000fields a real centre of tourism known all over the world. Over the centuries,\u0000through their travels, local and foreign scholars described the environment\u0000of the Phlegraean fields in their travel notebooks, often accompanied by\u0000sketches and drawings. In addition to these precious proofs, of particular\u0000interest are the articles published in the architecture and engineering\u0000periodicals within which projects of buildings are reported to be placed\u0000along the coastal strip, changing its original appearance.\u0000Through the analysis of bibliographic, documentary and\u0000iconographic sources, such as the guides of monsignor Pompeo Sarnelli,\u0000“La Guida de’ forestieri, curiosi di vedere, e di riconoscere le cose più\u0000memorabili di Pozzuoli, Baja, Cuma, Miseno, Gaeta. Ed altri luoghi\u0000circonvicini”, and canon Andrea de Jorio, “Guida di Pozzuoli e contorno”,\u0000the drawings of the French architect Prosper Barbot and the periodical\u0000“Bollettino del Collegio degli Ingegneri e Architetti in Napoli”, this paper\u0000intends to illustrate the environment of the Phlegraean fields during the\u0000XVIII and XIX centuries, making a comparison with the environment of\u0000the contemporary urban context. From the comparison of the sources it\u0000emerged how the image of the Phlegrean landscape has rapidly changed\u0000over the centuries.
