This study aims to analyze differences in knowledge of waste management in Jalan Letjend Sarbini Margajaya, South Bekasi in 2022. This study uses a cross-sectional quantitative research type, namely data related to the independent variable and the dependent variable, collected at the same time. Primary data collection was obtained from questionnaires and secondary data collection was the name of the residents from the head of RT 002. Respondents in this study were 30 people. Data analysis was carried out univariate and bivariate using the normality test and then continued with the Wilcoxon test because there was an abnormal data distribution. The results of this study indicate that there is a difference in knowledge before and after counseling about waste management. With a p-value in the normality test of 0.01/data not normally distributed, it was continued with the Wilcoxon test and obtained a p-value of 0.00 <0.05 then it was stated that there was a difference in knowledge before and after the waste management counseling in RT002 RW 001 Margajaya, South Bekasi.","PeriodicalId":319324,"journal":{"name":"Health Publica","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128779609","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose of this study was to describe the risk of mental health disorders in midwives at the Putra Medika Group Cikarang Clinic in 2022. This type of research is quantitative and descriptive in nature. The research sample was all midwives at the Putra Medika Group Clinic, totaling 37 midwives. The sampling technique uses Total Sampling. Data analysis using univariate analysis. The data collection method is in the form of primary data using the Depression Anxiety Stress Scales questionnaire (DASS-42). The variables of this study are stress levels, anxiety levels, stress levels, age characteristics, marital status and years of service. The results showed that more than half of the 37 midwives in the sample, namely 30 midwives (81.1%) had normal stress. The results of anxiety showed that 14 midwives (37.8%) had normal anxiety, 10 midwives (27.0%) had severe anxiety. More than half of the sample, namely 30 midwives (81.1%), had depression in the normal category. As for the characteristics of the respondents, they included: 37 midwives (100%) aged <35 years, 29 midwives (78.4%) were single, and 34 midwives (91.9%) had a working period of <5 years. In an effort to maintain the mental well-being of midwives, it is expected that the clinic routinely conducts evaluations every 1 month to find out the obstacles experienced by midwives and how to solve them so as to prevent or reduce the risk of mental health disorders in midwives.","PeriodicalId":319324,"journal":{"name":"Health Publica","volume":"102 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124732468","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are various factors that can affect the quantity and quality of a person's sleep, namely physiological factors, psychological factors, environmental factors and lifestyle. In addition, there are other factors that can affect sleep quality, namely age, fatigue, and caffeine consumption. The results of a preliminary study based on the PSQI questionnaire conducted by the author on 11 regular students of the Public Health study program found that 10 students had poor sleep quality (90.9%). As many as 6 students admitted that over the past month, students rated sleep quality as quite bad (54 .5%) and 2 students rated the quality of sleep as very bad (18.2%). This study aims to determine the factors associated with sleep quality in students of the Public Health Study Program in 2022. This research was conducted from September 2022 to February 2023. This type of research is quantitative with a cross-sectional study design. The sampling technique used the quota sampling technique with a sample of 103 students. The univariate results showed the highest proportion, namely poor sleep quality (90.3%), age ≥ 20 years (62.1%), stress (57.3%), poor screen time (88.3%), moderate consumption of caffeine (94.2%), and active physical activity (81.6%). Based on the statistical test results, it is known that the variables related to sleep quality are stress (p-value = 0.017), while the variables that are not related to sleep quality are age (p-value = 1.000), screen time (p-value = 0.091), caffeine consumption (p-value = 0.467), and physical activity (p-value = 1.000). It can be concluded that there is a relationship between stress and sleep quality in students of the public health study program at Esa Unggul University. It is hoped that students of the public health study program can reduce the occurrence of poor sleep quality.","PeriodicalId":319324,"journal":{"name":"Health Publica","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132525052","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research found a problem related to clean water in Sungai Merdeka Village, Samboja District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan Province. The problem experienced by the surrounding community is that the clean water that comes out of the house connection faucet cannot be used directly for cooking and drinking, but is only used for washing clothes, bathing and washing cutlery. People have consumed this water, but what happens is an uncomfortable feeling in the throat (inflammation) and when it use for bathing, it makes skin sometimes feels dry and tight. This is the reason to develop our research activities to find out how the condition of the water used by the community to fulfill their daily activities, to test the content of tap water in one of the residents' house. The efforts made to improve the quality of the Merdeka River community's tap water are by using Simple Filtration with the Slow Sand Filter principle, which is a filtering method that flows from the bottom up using several natural filter media without using chemicals. The media used include filter foam, silica sand, zeolite stone, activated carbon, palm fiber, and gauze nets. When compared to the pH value in the raw water source, namely the Merdeka River, it is even better, ranging from 5.6 to 6.4. The simple tool design was made, which namely Filtration with an upflow flow system (from bottom to top). The result is that after the residents' tap water is filtered through simple filtration, the air pH value becomes normal around 6.9 – 7.4.
