Permainan ini dapat dilakukan pada saat pembelajaran di sekolah terutama dalam pembelajaran fisika. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji etnofisika konsep gerak parabola pada permainan tradisional Aceh geulengkue teu peu poe. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian eksperimen. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dengan sudut sama dari kayu pengungkit jarak terbesar 2,08 m dan terkecil 1,2 m dengan masing-masing waktu 0,57 s dan 0,4 s. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dengan jarak sama dari kayu pengungkit sudut terbesar 60° dan terkecil 20° dengan masing-masing waktu 0,72 s dan 0,37 s. hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dengan sudut sama dari kayu pengungkit tinggi maksimum terbesar 0,28 m dan 0,17 m dengan masing-masing jarak maksimum 1,93 m dan 1,19 m. Penggunaan model discovery learning mampu meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains. Kemampuan literasi sains dapat dikembangkan atau dimunculkan pada diri siswa saat proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan berbagai model dan strategi pembelajaran yang memungkinkan untuk hal tersebut. Salah satu  model yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains siswa adalah model discovery learning. Model discovery learning sesuai tujuan penggunaannya diharapkan dapat membantu siswa melatih kemampuan berbagi pengetahuan yang dimiliki dan menggunakan idenya untuk memecahkan masalah yang dipelajari. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Halmahera Utara pada siswa kelas XI IPA-1 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 27 siswa. Jenis penelitiannya adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data kemampuan literasi sains adalah soal-soal tes yang sesuai dengan materi atau konsep yang diajarkan dan disesuaikan dengan indikator literasi sains. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis deskriptif dan inferensial. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh kemampuan literasi sains siswa kelas XI  pada aspek konten meningkat sebesar 22,22 %, aspek proses atau kompetensi meningkat sebesar 29,63%,  dan aspek konteks meningkat sebesar 25,93%. Hasil analisis dengan menggunakan N-Gain untuk melihat peningkatan kemampuan literasi sains siswa menunjukkan bahwa secara rata-rata kemampuan literasi sains siswa berada pada kategori sedang yaitu sebanyak 81,48 %, kategori tinggi 11,11% dan kategori rendah 7,41 %. Teknologi dapat menjadi alat dalam proses pembelajaran jarak jauh. Namun materi yang disampaikan masih berupa media elektronik tanpa penjelasan langsung dari pendidik. Sehingga dikembangkan sebuah media pembelajaran mobile learning berbasis android untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran jarak jauh. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan tahapan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validitas yang diisi oleh 3 validator dan lembar kepraktisan yang diisi oleh satu orang pendidik dan 37 siswa. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah media yang dikembangkan dikategorikan sangat valid dengan persentase 88. 05% berdasarkan aspek rekayasa perangkat lunak, aspek desain pembelajaran dan aspek komunikasi visual. Metode yang digunakan penelitian ini yaitu quasi experiment dengan desain one group pretest-posttest design. Instrumen pada penelitian ini berupa tes hasil belajar siswa dengan format pilihan ganda, dari data hasil tes tersebut dilakukan analisis n-gain. Hasil yang didapat yaitu dengan nilai rata-rata pretest siswa yaitu 47,61 nilai rata-rata posttest siswa yaitu 80,97. Hasil analisis n-gain yaitu 0,629 dengan kategori keefektifan sedang. Hasil data angket gaya belajar  menggunakan uji korelasi dan didapatkan hasil siswa memiliki gaya belajar visual 43 siswa, audiotorial 16 siswa dan kinestetik sebanyak 8 siswa dengan koefisien korelasi 0,412 dengan kategori korelasi cukup. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan materi ajar pada pokok bahasan usaha energi dengan bermuatan authentic learning yang layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah, berdasarkan aspek validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektivan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model ASSURE. Subjek uji coba penelitian ini adalah 23 orang peserta didik kelas X MIPA 1 SMAN 12 Banjarmasin. Data diperoleh melalui lembar validitas materi ajar, lembar pengamatan keterlaksanaan RPP, dan tes hasil belajar peserta didik yang memuat indikator keterampilan pemecahan masalah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) validitas materi ajar yang dikembangkan memperoleh skor sebesar 3,09 dengan kategori valid; (2) kepraktisan materi ajar yang dikembangkan memperoleh skor sebesar 3,72 dengan kategori sangat praktis; dan (3) efektivitas materi ajar yang dikembangkan memperoleh skor n-gain sebesar 0,52 dengan kategori sedang. The research is a quasi-experimental study. The independent variable is the learning model and the dependent variable is the critical thinking skills of students in learning physics. The population in this study were all students of class XI MIPA. Taken by using purposive sampling technique, class of XI MIPA I was the experimental class and XI MIPA II was the control class. Based on descriptive statistical analysis, it was found that (1) the average pretest and post-test scores of critical thinking skills in the experimental class are both in the high category, while the pretest and post-test scores in the control class was the sufficient category and the high category, respectively (2) there is an increase in students’ critical thinking skills in using an environment based students’ worksheets strategy at SMAN 3 Enrekang, (3) there is an increase in students’ critical thinking skills using conventional students’ worksheets, (4) there are differences in the use of environment based student worksheets where the  obtained is 0,15 smaller than α 0,05. One of the ways teachers should guide students to face the challenges of the 21st century is by updating the learning resources used. However, in reality schools still use printed teaching materials, have not integrated STEM well, and students' knowledge and literacy are still low. One solution to this problem is to develop STEM-integrated electronic teaching materials (ETMS) to increase new literacy for class XI high school students. This research uses RD method with the Ploom development model. The research carried out is only limited to the development and prototype stages. The analytical technique used is the use of Aiken's V formula. The results of the first study were in the form of an ETMS design. The results of the second study are valid ETMS with an average value of 0.94. Based on the results of the study, two conclusions can be drawn. First, ETMS contains STEM development activities related to the facts of real world problems, technology and working principles, as well as mathematical concepts of physics. Second, the results of the prototype stage consist of self-evaluation and expert review. ETMS is valid based on five indicators of validity assessment, namely material substance, visual communication display, learning design, software utilization, and STEM assessment. This research is a quantitative descriptive research employing survey design. Data collection were carried out by distributing online learning style questionnaires using google forms and giving cognitive tests in the form of multiple choice to 124 students. To help determine the influence of learning styles toward learning outcomes of physics, inferential analysis in the form of Pearson product moment correlation analysis was used. The results showed thatthe most of the students in class X science at MAN 1 Polewali Mandar had visual learning styles, and only few of them had kinesthetic learning styles and auditory learning styles. Some students were not categorized in one specific learning style as they are not dominant in any of the three.In addition, majority of the female students had a visual learning style, while majority of the male students had kinesthetic learning style. Furthermore, the students’ physics learning outcomes were in medium category. {"title":"Development of A Prototype Book Based on The Study of The Al-Quran as Teaching Material For Physics","authors":"Azmar Azmar, Lalu Usman Ali","doi":"10.26618/jpf.v10i3.8331","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.26618/jpf.v10i3.8331","url":null,"abstract":"Integration of the spiritual values and knowledge of students which are summarized into a learning outcome becomes the focus in the development of physics teaching materials based on Al-Qur'an studies with the main objectives: (1) to design a valid physics teaching materials based on Al-Qur'an studies at Madrasah Aliah, (2) to analyze the practicality of physics teaching materials based on Al-Qur'an studies at Madrasah Aliah, and (3) to analyze the effectiveness of physics teaching materials based on Al-Qur'an studies at Madrasah Aliah. The research design used was 4D Model (Definition, Design, Development and Deployment). The sample in its implementation was at MAN 3 Mataram. The technique analysis used were Validity Analysis, Practicality Analysis, and Effectiveness Analysis. The percentage of classical mastery of the students was 76.92% which was categorized as good. Thus, according to the theory put forward by J. Van Den Akker, that the teaching materials have been operationally effective to provide learning outcomes as expected. The results of these tests indicate that the development of teaching materials based on the study of the Qur'anic science is very effective in achieving students’ learning outcomes as a form of mastery in learning. Educational institutions are required to realize human resources who have creative thinking, critical thinking and problem solving, communicating, and collaborating called 4C. This study aims to get an overview of the implementation of interactive conceptual instruction with multi-representation to optimize the achievement of students' scientific communication skills on momentum and impulse concepts. Employing a descriptive research design with an observation method, this research was conducted at a senior high school in the 2020/2021 academic year. This study involved 20 students in the tenth grade which were selected by using cluster random sampling technique. The scientific communication skills were reflected in three sub-skills, namely scientific writing, group discussion, and knowledge presentation. The results of the study showed that the average values of student scientific communication skills (SCS) from the first to the fourth meeting are 53.3, 66.1, 89.3, and 97.8, respectively. The average value is the result of the average value of scientific communication skills of all respondents in each session.
