Seperti dalam film Pria yang menyajikan gambaran atas kehidupan sosok lelaki dengan orientasi seksual yang berbeda, di mana sang tokoh utama merasakan pergolakan batin atas sesuatu yang dirasakan terkait ketertarikan terhadap sesama jenis. Untuk itu penelitian ini disusun dengan tujuan menganalisis representasi gay dalam film pendek Pria melalui kajian semiotik Pierce. Penelitian ini disusun dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif yang dipadu dengan penggunaan teori Pierce, di mana tersusun analisis antara simbol dan lambang yang hadir untuk memunculkan makna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setiap adegan yang muncul dalam film Pria menjadi simbol atas pemaknaan “keberbedaan” orientasi seksual yang dirasakan oleh Aris. Kehadiran kaos yang digunakan di atas rambut hingga ekor kuda menjadi lambang atas petanda yang menghadirkan makna baru mengenai kehadiran gay dalam konteks masyarakat tradisional. Wijayanti","doi":"10.21831/jc.v20i1.60162","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.21831/jc.v20i1.60162","url":null,"abstract":"This paper describes an attempt to integrate Islamic and scientific values into social studies education with the aim of developing prophetic social science theory to explain social problems from this perspective. The study focuses on the implementation of this theory at Baitusalam Islamic School in Yogyakarta, using qualitative research methods such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings suggest that social studies learning Islamic values that develop boarding power, with the learning process incorporating these values into planning, implementation, and assessment. However, the study also identifies challenges in the integration process, such as the lack of student textbook references that integrate values into Islamic language for each material, insufficient learning media, and inadequate infrastructure in schools. Ecotourism is an environmentally conscious tourism activity that prioritizes the preservation of nature, and empowerment of the local community in terms of social, cultural, and economic aspects, as well as learning and education. In the village of Poncokusumo, the local cultural tradition known as Hari Raya Karo is still preserved to this day. Hari Raya Karo, or Yadnya Karo, is the second major festival after Kasada. This research adopts a qualitative descriptive methodology. The findings from field research encompass the entire series of Hari Raya Karo ceremonies, which can be sequentially described as follows: (1) opening ceremony, (2) sodoran, (3) puja sesanti, (4) andon mangan, and (5) sadranan and tari ojung. On the other hand, the Selamatan Desa ceremony follows the following order: (1) visiting graves, (2) ater tumpeng, (3) tandakan, (4) entertainment, and (5) sadranan. Observing the transition from Hari Raya Karo to Selamatan Desa, ritual changes have occurred. Hari Raya Karo is conducted by the entire Tengger community in the Bromo Mountain region, including those practicing Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Christianity, both in Brang Wetan (Probolinggo and Lumajang Regencies) and Brang Kulon (Malang and Pasuruan Regencies). This pandemic has disrupted the economic and societal order, including the governance aspect, which encompasses the electoral process for selecting local leaders to continue the previous simultaneous local elections held in the preceding year. The Indonesian government has decided to proceed with the local elections that were initially postponed. Several other countries worldwide have also chosen to hold general elections, although some countries have opted to delay them. This study adopts an ex post facto research design with a qualitative approach. The research object is implementing the simultaneous continuation of local elections in Bantul Regency, DIY Province, in 2020, with the selection of research subjects conducted purposively. Data collection is carried out through interviews and documentation. Understanding the narrow and limited meaning of Pancasila has resulted in polemics in the life of the nation and state, especially in Pancasila education. This study aims to analyze the debate and dynamics of Pancasila education from the aspects of legitimacy, recognition, and institutionalization. This research is philosophical research, using qualitative research methods through literature review. The analysis in this study used critical discourse analysis. The research process includes data inventory, data categorization, and data analysis. The results of this study indicate that the debate about Pancasila education since the post occurred from the framework of the legitimacy of power, there has been a dualism of legitimacy between the executive and the legislature. Based on the recognition aspect, Pancasila education has not yet received adequate recognition from the state and educational institutions.
