The potential to gather 3D inversion results from 2D acquisitioned data is one of many new software options that were not available twenty years ago. Data obtained by ground penetrating radar (GPR) using 500 MHz and 300 MHz frequencies were used to confirm information attained by electrical resistivity tomography, hence the GPR survey was only conducted on a small portion of one profile line. Suitable location of the former communal waste site \"Ada Huja\" and the degree of possible environmental pollution are one of many reasons why it was crucial to reinterpret the 2D inversion data. Two decades after the initial scanning the data was used to solve the eco-geological problem which is a side effect of the decade long disposal and non-aiding of the communal waste dump.","PeriodicalId":31689,"journal":{"name":"Podzemni Radovi","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41527038","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Types of geological formations that can be used for CO2 storage, that are discussed in this paper are: depleted oil and gas reservoirs, saline aquifers and injection CO2 in partially depleted oil reservoirs for enhanced oil recovery (ЕОР–CO2 method). In order to select the most suitable geological storage of CO2, the ranking of these storage options was performed using two models of multi criteria analysis, PROMETHEE and VIKOR. \u0000In this paper are presented an overview of considered criteria (storage capacity, total storage costs, risk assessment costs, storage time dynamics, risk of CO2 leakage from geological formation and risk of CO2 leakage through the well), description of applied multi criteria analysis methods, selection of optimal CO2 storage option and results of their application.","PeriodicalId":31689,"journal":{"name":"Podzemni Radovi","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44767064","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of this research was to determine the required time for construction of all variants and then to reduce it to the time required for construction of 1 m` per facilities. Also the required time for construction of 1000 m' of the same facilities is calculated. Based on analysis, two parametric functional dependents of construction time are determined in relation of uniaxial compressive strength of rock mass and the size of the facilities` cross section.","PeriodicalId":31689,"journal":{"name":"Podzemni Radovi","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46386446","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

GSI classification if often used with numerical modelling and its rounding unit is ±5 as suggested by its creators. In situ stresses are usually estimated in such manner that vertical component is equal to the weight of the rocks above, while horizontal components may vary in wide range, starting with ratio to vertical component of 0.3 and even be several times higher than vertical component. \u0000Influence of estimate error of GSI and horizontal stress is analyzed for the Cukaru Peki location near Bor in Serbia. Zone in the rock mass valued with GSI of 40 at depth 160m is analyzed for the change of GSI value of ±5 and horizontal stress ratio between 0.5-1.5. Change of the unsupported length of decline and shotcrete layer thickness is tracked for different values of input parameters. Finally, best case and worst case scenarios are analyzed with results showing that shotcrete layer thickness could vary in range between 4-33cm, and unsupported lengths between 0.6-2m.","PeriodicalId":31689,"journal":{"name":"Podzemni Radovi","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46458085","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The paper consists of two parts. The first part (Part I) provides a brief literature review concerning the presentation of the backfill method, mostly the paste backfill method, its application, advantages and disadvantages, and materials that can be used to form a paste. The second part (Part II) of the paper presents an overview of possible materials that could be used for the eventual application of this method in Serbia. Flotation tailings from lead-zinc mines and copper mines, fly ash from thermal power plants and metallurgical slag can be potentially used materials for this method. Technological process is very sensitive to so-called \"selectivity\" because loss of individual metals through selective concentrates is present. Copper minerals flotation cycle is especially sensitive to selectivity and sometimes there is a higher content of lead and zinc minerals present in copper concentrate which is penalized. In this paper laboratory research results of lowering galena and zinc content in copper concentrate possibility due to extended time of cleaning are shown. All experiments were carried out on copper concentrate samples taken from the \"Rudnik\" flotation plant. Copper concentrate mineralogical analysis were carried out before flotation experiments.","PeriodicalId":31689,"journal":{"name":"Podzemni Radovi","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"71023716","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
