Various parameters like, adiabatic compressibility acoustic impedance and intermolecular free length have been calculated at different temperatures and at 0.50% concentration. This study helps to understand the physio-chemical behavior of macro molecules with change in temperature and concentration.","PeriodicalId":31687,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Mountain Area Research","volume":"69 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81199215","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Plankton and benthos showed identical pattern at all the centers investigated. Peak production of plankton was observed during summer months and their minimum number was recorded in monsoon months. Abundance of chironomids, bivalves and gastropods were recorded. Maximum values of phytoplankton were recorded 1413 units.l-1 and benthos 464 units.m-1 in the Ganga River System. Possible detrimental factors responsible for biota fluctuations are also discussed.","PeriodicalId":31687,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Mountain Area Research","volume":"117 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79303169","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
