Visokoškolske institucije raste u složenom okruženju koje uključuje uticaj spoljnih faktora, nove tehnologije za nastavu i učenje, globalizaciju i promenu demografije studenata. Upravljanje takvom složenošću i promenama zahteva strategiju liderstva koja je fleksibilna i održiva. Upravljanje promenama zahteva od zaposlenih u organizaciji da usvoje nova znanja, prikupe više informacija, odgovore novim zadacima, poboljšaju svoje veštine, te često menjaju svoje radne navike, vrednosti i stavove. Ovo uključuje promene u ljudima - kod uprave i zaposlenih, njihovih sposobnosti, motivacije, ponašanja i delotvornosti na radu, odnosa, uticaja, stila upravljanja.","PeriodicalId":31648,"journal":{"name":"Ekonomski Signali","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"71213611","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Doing business outside the borders of the national economy implies settlements and payments in different currencies and carries with it the occurrence of risks of changes in exchange rates, interest rates on the international market and the like. Globalization has led to the fact that economic entities are necessarily directed to do business with foreign economic entities, either in the role of buyer or in the role of seller. In both cases, payment is implied, but also settlement in domestic and foreign currency, since in the Republic of Serbia the official currency is the dinar, and most foreign exchange operations are performed in euros and dollars. The problem can arise on several grounds, due to the mismatch between the realization of business and payments, due to the overestimation or underestimation of the domestic currency in relation to the foreign currency, but also due to numerous other reasons. Having in mind the above, the aim of this paper is to point out the need for risk management in foreign exchange operations of economic entities, which significantly affects the stability of the financial and overall economic system of a particular national economy.","PeriodicalId":31648,"journal":{"name":"Ekonomski Signali","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"71213653","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research was conducted on the example of 112 IT companies, using panel data analysis, in such a way that the data was collected from the balance sheet and success of IT companies for the period from 2013 to 2020. The primary goal of the research is to determine the importance and impact of intellectual capital on the performance of IT companies, since this is a sector based on the 5th industrial revolution. An additional goal of the research is to answer the question of which element of intellectual capital has the greatest impact on the success of small and medium IT companies in the Republic of Serbia. The results of the research indicate that intellectual capital has an impact on the business performance of IT companies in human and engaged capital. Research has found that structural capital has a negative impact on business performance.","PeriodicalId":31648,"journal":{"name":"Ekonomski Signali","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"71213367","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

First of all, this paper starts with an explanation of the concept of security, what does it mean, and how is this concept defined in the literature. We also present some of the basic theoretical approaches used in modern security. In the following, we deal with neoliberal economic theory, which we believe has had a massive impact on the economic (in)security not only of Serbia but also for the countries of Southeast Europe, which all experienced a similar outcome with deindustrialization, that is to become dependent countries on the periphery of the world capitalist system. At the end of the paper, we conclude that due to economic uncertainty and in quest of a better standard of living, the countries of Southeast Europe, including Serbia, remained without an immense population, which will be a big problem for them in the future.","PeriodicalId":31648,"journal":{"name":"Ekonomski Signali","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"71213380","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this way, social entrepreneurship strives to identify or recognize problems, but also to overcome them. Although Social Entrepreneurship is associated with change, it does not have to be profound, ie it does not have to include a complete solution to the social problem. It is necessary and necessary to apply adequate research, define the social problem, and then move on to the phase of forming smaller goals and the application of management in the endeavor that would lead to the desired changes. Social entrepreneurship can focus on improving certain social circumstances over a very long peri. The paper will emphasize the importance of social entrepreneurship and management that is related to it, but through a new framework in which the emphasis is placed on women's entrepreneurship.","PeriodicalId":31648,"journal":{"name":"Ekonomski Signali","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"71213837","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We will see the importance of employees within the company, and the attitude of the employer towards them. The correct approach of the employer towards the employees is of great importance for the prosperity of a company, and here we can see that employees are an inexhaustible resource that the company has. In the following, I have commented a lot on the attitude of the employer towards its employees and I believe that there are many omissions that lead to major problems within the company. After a critical attitude, i tried to bring closer through this work the way of doing business of successful companies that have been on an upward path for a long time, which are their thoughts on internal communication, internal marketing, status and approach to their employees. Further work will show that it takes very little culture and patience of the employer towards employees in order to achieve even greater success in a changing market. Here we will notice how important and significant the influence of employees is in building the name of the company.","PeriodicalId":31648,"journal":{"name":"Ekonomski Signali","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"71213622","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Cost benefit analysis enables direct and indirect measurement of all relevant costs and benefits expected in the future based on a given investment project. It enables the justification of investments and the expediency of redirecting capital to investment projects. However, cost benefit analysis is not a method of general optimization because it deals with the comparison of two or more alternatives, neither of which has to be the economic optimum. The goal of cost benefit analysis is the careful selection of alternatives that best meet the set objectives in the field of relevant constraints. The choice of economically rational investments through cost benefit analysis is the topic of this paper.","PeriodicalId":31648,"journal":{"name":"Ekonomski Signali","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"71213724","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Households with low living standards will spend more money to cover basic needs (food, clothing, housing, etc.). As incomes increase, spending is focused on buying goods for their comfort (health, transport, recreation and culture, tourism). The aim of this paper is to examine the value of Engel 's law in household consumption in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the periods from 2004, 2007, 2011 and 2015. Secondary data from the following database were used to interpret household dynamics: I MB, NIS, EUROSTAT and the BiH Agency for Statistics. We investigated the relationship between consumption and income through regression analysis and found that Engel's law is applied in the BiH economy, with specific developments and impacts. In developed economies, the transition to services and consumption is faster. In this paper, a nonlinear double logarithmic regression model will be used to test the validity of Engel's first law of the influence of income on the value spent on the purchase of food and soft drinks. The paper is organized into four parts as follows: after reviewing the literature, the data and methodology of the study are presented, the fourth part is focused on the research results, and the last part is dedicated to the conclusions.","PeriodicalId":31648,"journal":{"name":"Ekonomski Signali","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"71213713","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
