Jenis penelitian adalah research and development (RD) dengan model planning production and evaluation (PPE). Perancangan dan simulasi dilakukan dengan bantuan software Solidworks. Simulasi dalam penelitian menggunakan material fiber karbon atau carbon fiber. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan pengujian simulasi menggunakan software Solidworks. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh velocity yang baik dalam mengatur kecepatan udara, dapat menerima pressure dengan baik, dan mendapatkan nilai coefficient drag (Cd) atau gaya hambat yang rendah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa nilai yang diperoleh dari pengembangan bodi kendaraan hemat energi Prototype Arrow Concept sudah memenuhi standar dan layak diproduksi sebagai media dalam pembelajaran mata kuliah Konstruksi Badan Kendaraan. AbstractThe research aimed to develop an energy efficient vehicle body Prototype Arrow Concept in learning Vehicle Body Construction. This type of research was research and development (RD) with a planning production and evaluation (PPE) model. Design and simulation were done with the help of Solidworks software. Simulations in research used carbon fiber materials. Data collection techniques used observation and simulation testing used Solidworks software. Data analysis technique used descriptive analysis. Based on the research results, good velocity was obtained in adjusting airspeed, can receive pressure well, and gets a drag coefficient (Cd) or low drag. Neil Postman menekankan bahwa pendidikan moral harus menjadi bagian integral dari kurikulum dan diintegrasikan ke setiap pelajaran. Azyumardi Azra menekankan bahwa pendidikan moral harus berdasarkan pada kearifan lokal, nilai-nilai budaya, dan spiritualitas yang dianut oleh masyarakat setempat. Azyumardi Azra also emphasized that moral education must develop critical thinking skills and empathy so that students can understand and appreciate different cultures and views. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian survei. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 4.156 terdiri dari seluruh siswa SMK negeri di Kota Pontianak. Teknik sampel yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 320 siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik komunikasi langsung dan dokumen dengan alat pengumpul data berupa angket dan dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa harga diri (self-esteem) dan efikasi diri (self-efficacy) memberikan pengaruh yang positif terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa, baik secara mandiri maupun bersama-sama. Semakin besar tingkat harga diri dan efikasi diri, maka semakin besar tingkat kesiapan kerja siswa SMK negeri di Kota Pontianak. AbstractThe research aimed to analyze work readiness in terms of self-esteem and self-efficacy of state vocational high school (SMK) students in Pontianak City. The research method used descriptive research in the form of survey research. The research population was 4,156 consisting of all state vocational high school students in Pontianak City. The sampling technique used simple random sampling with a total sample of 320 students. Data analysis techniques used direct communication techniques and documents with data collection tools in the form of questionnaires and documents. The results showed that self-esteem and self-efficacy have a positive influence on students' work readiness, both individually and collectively. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah praeksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 60 mahasiswa STIE Dwi Sakti Baturaja. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel jenuh sehingga keseluruhan populasi dalam penelitian dijadikan sampel penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes berupa pretest dan posttest. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan perhitungan uji-t dengan bantuan program aplikasi SPSS 20. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan PBW efektif terhadap keterampilan menulis akademik mahasiswa. Nilai rata-rata posttest mengalami peningkatan dari nilai pretest. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka disimpulkan bahwa penerapan PBW efektif meningkatkan keterampilan menulis akademik mahasiswa Manajemen pada mata kuliah wajib kurikulum Bahasa Indonesia. AbstractThe research aimed to measure the effectiveness of project-based writing (PBW) on students' academic writing skills. The research method used pre-experimental with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research population consisted of 60 students of STIE Dwi Sakti Baturaja. The sampling technique used a saturated sample so that the entire population in the research was used as the research sample. Data collection techniques used tests in the form of pretest and posttest. Data processing was carried out by calculating the t-test with the help of the SPSS 20 application program. The results showed that the application of PBW was effective on students' academic writing skills. The average value of the posttest has increased from the pretest value. However, the results of learning English for most students, including university students, are still very poor. This article aims to analyze students’ learning achievement, and provide an overview of the problems they faced in learning English. This study is qualitative research. This is focused on the English learning achievement of 1st semester students of the Islamic Early Childhood Education (PIAUD) Study Program of STAI Auliaurrasyidin. Data were collected using in-depth interview and documentation. They were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model which consists of data reduction, data display, and conclusions. The results showed that the students’ low English learning achievement were caused by the English sentence and grammatical structure that often confusing, poor of vocabulary knowledge that impacts on the difficulty in translating English sentences. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Penjaskesrek Universitas Islam Indragiri yang berjumlah 17 mahasiswa sedangkan sampel penelitian diambil berdasarkan teknik total sampling dimana seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel penleitian. Instrument dan Teknik analisis data yang digunakan berdasarkan metode statistik yaitu menggunakan rumus korelasi product moment dan korelasi ganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa korfisien korelasi rxy = 0,930 > r table = 0,482 (hipotesis penelitian diterima) dan signifikan korelasi distribusi t menunjukkan (thitung = 9,782) > (ttable = 1,753) dengan demikian maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima (signifikan). The results of this study are the Batobo rhyme songs of the people of Seberang Pantai Village, and the Batobo rhyme songs contain the following forms of educational values. (1) educational values related to the form of the values of responsibility, with indicators of attitude and behavior of being disciplined, tenacious, and willing to take risks. (2) educational values related to forms of social care, with indicators of attitudes and behavior of affection, politeness, friendship/communicativeness, social care, and love of family. (3) educational values related to the form of values of honesty, with indicators of responsible attitude and behavior, fulfilling obligations, being generous, keeping promises, speaking as it is, and being democratic. The researcher become curious about the students experiences in using online dictionary. Thus, this study aims to investigate about students perception on the use of online dictionary by using quantitative method. The sample in this study were 35 students of class XI MIPA 5 SMAN 1 Tembilahan Hulu. Sampling was carried out using cluster sampling technique. In collecting data, researchers used a questionnaire as a research tool. This questionnaire is used to find out how students perception of the Use of Online English Dictionary. The questionnaire used in the study was presented in 5 (five) alternatives, commonly known as the Likert Scale. The results showed that students' perception of the Use of Online English Dictionary fall into the high category. It proved that 35 students got that category as the highest average score was in indicator selection with a score 140, followed by indicator organization with a score 139. And then the average value of indicator interpretation with a score 148. So, the researcher can conclude that the use of online dictionary can increase students’ interest in learning English. The researcher chose SMAN 2 Tembilahan as the research location because the researcher saw that during PPL, the students’ ability in speaking was good and only a few students were somewhat low in speaking. The design of this research is descriptive research. The population of this study is English teachers at SMAN 2 Tembilahan. The sample for this study are two English teachers. To obtain data, researcher used interview and questionnaire as instruments, for interviews 5 question and for questionnaire 13 questionnaire. The researcher found strategies that are often used by teachers in teaching speaking.
