The thinkers of Ancient Greece and Rome studied this issue, however, this area does not stand still, and over time, theories of motivation are developed and supplemented. The author of the article seeks to contribute to the study of motivation, starting from the philosophical concept of hedonism of the 15th century and to the division of motives into internal and external within the framework of motivation theories of the 20th century. The purpose of the article is to synthesize basic theories of motivation, starting with hedonism and ending with the dichotomy of internal and external motivations - the author explores various concepts of motivation and describes their influence on human behavior in the context of three related theories: Jungian orientation, self-determination theory and the theory of internal and external values. The study uses analysis and synthesis of scientific literature, including works on philosophy, psychology and motivation. As a result of the investigation, the author concludes that theoretical frameworks, serving as depictions of various facets in the establishment of human motivation, delineate innate and acquired forms of motivation. Furthermore, a classification of motives into external and internal categories is posited: external motivation is linked to a societal orientation, whereby the individual predominantly self-defines through social integration and is more contingent on one's own social standing. In contrast, the internal type of motivation, geared towards outcomes, exhibits less dependence on society and significantly diminishes its inclination towards social approval.","PeriodicalId":313745,"journal":{"name":"“Educational bulletin “Consciousness”","volume":"187 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139309890","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this regard, the demand for teaching Chinese among Russian students is also increasing. Accordingly, the problem of selecting relevant teaching methods arises. The purpose of the article is to present the “flipped classroom” method, taking into account not only traditional approaches, but also the digitalization of the educational environment. The “flipped classroom” method is one of the methods of inverted (or reverse) teaching, built on a constructivist approach to learning, encouraging student independence and changing the positions of the subject and object of learning. The “flipped class” method is one of the methods of inverted (or reverse) learning based on a constructivist approach to learning that encourages students' independence and changes the positions of the subject and object of learning. The “flipped class” method has recently gained popularity due to the integration of new educational technologies, in particular multimedia and the Internet, in the classroom. The article analyzes and lists the advantages of using the “flipped class” method for foreign language education (using the example of the Chinese language). It is noted that this method contributes to the development of foreign language communicative competence due to a more effective distribution of classroom and independent workload. The study is devoted to the description of the application of the “flipped class” method in the framework of the discipline “Second Foreign Language” in Chinese classes at the UrFU Department of Foreign Languages and Translation. Educational and methodological developments are offered to study the verb “to have” in Chinese as part of independent preparation for the lesson and to test the theoretical knowledge obtained. The results of this research and development for classes presented in it may be useful to methodologists and novice teachers of Chinese as a second foreign language.","PeriodicalId":313745,"journal":{"name":"“Educational bulletin “Consciousness”","volume":"75 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139311063","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of the study was to identify the direction of psychological assistance to patients with the consequences of a stroke in the conditions of rehabilitation in a polyclinic with the participation of a multidisciplinary team (MDB). The study involved 115 patients after a stroke, 63 men, 52 women; aged 38 to 94 years, with self-service disorders of varying severity. Rehabilitation measures were carried out with patients (drug therapy, exercise therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and psychological assistance) in a polyclinic at home. The psychological assistance was aimed at correcting attitudes towards the disease and treatment, at forming a positive therapeutic and life perspective in the mind of the patient, and at forming adherence to treatment. Family counseling was aimed at improving the interaction between relatives and patients. After carrying out rehabilitation measures and a psychological assistance program, there is a positive trend in self-care indicators (Bartel scale), cognitive functions (MMSE scale), and a decrease in anxiety and depression (HADS scale). Our study in a district clinic showed the relevance and extreme importance of including a psychological assistance program in the work of a multidisciplinary team. Directions of psychological assistance in a polyclinic included work with patients and with the micro-society (with relatives of patients).","PeriodicalId":313745,"journal":{"name":"“Educational bulletin “Consciousness”","volume":"17 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139331561","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose of the article is to briefly analyse the state of study of the problem of the influence of digital media on the cognitive development of pre-school and primary school age students. The analysis of foreign and domestic studies revealed the insufficiency, fragmentation and inconsistency of available data on the peculiarities of the cognitive sphere of students using digital media. Noting the impossibility of cancelling the sociocultural evolution of the psyche in the new digital environment, the prospect of systemic research into the child's mental development in the conditions of mixed reality on the basis of the working concept of digital socialisation is emphasised. The analysis of studies of the possible positive and negative effects of school education under conditions of digitalisation has shown the increasing cognitive inefficiency of this largely spontaneous practice. Since the digit itself is not capable of transforming information into knowledge and action, the transition to a properly organised digital education system requires the substantiation of the theory of effective digital learning and the development of digital educational products that offer new ways of organising students' attention, memory, thinking and communication, adequate to their age and psychological characteristics.","PeriodicalId":313745,"journal":{"name":"“Educational bulletin “Consciousness”","volume":"68 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139333481","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The authors substantiate the importance of mastering translation skills for a successful professional career as a translator in the future. The authors also formulate a number of didactic principles for teaching students the skills of translation. It is already difficult to imagine the modern methods of teaching foreign languages in general and translation in particular without the use of modern ICT tools, since their use greatly facilitates and enriches the teaching process and translation work. The effectiveness of using ICT in teaching translation largely depends on how they are used, on how competently the teacher knows the methodology of working with ICT, on the ability of the teacher to solve the difficulties that arise when working with ICT, as well as on the ways of interacting with students. The purpose of this study is to analyze modern ICT used for text translation, as well as to develop methodological recommendations and exercises for teaching translation and interpreting to students of language specialties. The theoretical significance of the study lies in identifying the features of teaching translation and interpreting, taking into accounts the differences between Russian and English. The practical significance, on the one hand, is represented by methodological recommendations proposed by the authors of the study and a set of exercises for developing translation skills in the classroom in a foreign language. On the other hand, it is represented by other linguistic disciplines that are not directly related to translation, but are related to the teaching and learning of foreign languages and foreign language communication.","PeriodicalId":313745,"journal":{"name":"“Educational bulletin “Consciousness”","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129803937","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Students involved in professional and amateur sports during the pandemic faced additional difficulties associated with a completely remote format for mastering the educational program and conducting training. The purpose of the study is to identify the assessment by students involved in professional and amateur sports of the level of formation of their professional and supra-professional competencies in the context of organizing the educational process exclusively with the use of distance learning technologies and e-learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. Materials and methods. The study included 110 students of the KSPU named after. V.P. Astafiev and KrasSMU named after prof. V.F. Voyno-Yasenetsky: 62 professional athletes, and 48 students involving in amateur sports. Instrumental methods of research and electronic questioning Google Forms were used. Statistical analysis was carried out using the Microsoft Office Excel 2017 software package and Google Forms. Research results. More than half of the students noted significant differences in the formation of their professional competencies in the conditions of the pandemic (52.36% of respondents in both groups noted a decrease in the level of academic competencies, in 47.64% the level did not change). Students noted a sharp decrease in the level of formation of supra-professional competences (soft skills). Only emotional intelligence remained unchanged for the majority (53.64% of respondents), 46.36% noted its decline. Conclusions. Empirically obtained data allow us to state that the implementation of the educational process using exclusively e-learning and distance learning, in the opinion of students of educational institutions of higher education involved in professional and amateur sports, negatively affects the effectiveness of the educational process: 52.36% have a decrease in the level of formation of professional competencies and there is a sharp decrease in the level of supra-professional competences (the level of formation of cognitive intelligence, creativity, critical thinking, the level of communication).","PeriodicalId":313745,"journal":{"name":"“Educational bulletin “Consciousness”","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114641023","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
