Daien’s documentary story “Chornobyl is a bitter grass” the actualization and dynamics of language signs of the Chornobyl era in the context of the development of a specific “Chornobyl” dictionary is traced. This is in line with the needs of the verbalization of the topic of the technogenic accident at the Chornobyl nuclear power station, relevant to Ukrainian society.\u0000The mechanisms of the expressive development of Chornobyl’s own name are highlighted.\u0000The types of substantive-evaluative transformation of traditional images that fall into the semantic action of the Chornobyl nomination are noted.\u0000The objects of analysis were temporally and thematically marked vocabulary and phraseology, as well as stylistic methods of creating the image of the Chornobyl disaster. In particular, it emphasizes the peculiarities of contextual development of terminological units – zone, atom, radiation, radiation, etc. The types of their semantic-evaluative transformation as they enter the documentary text are clarified.\u0000The journalistic rhetoric of the linguistic description of the Chornobyl events, especially the linguistic portrayal of the liquidators of the consequences of the Chоrnobyl accident, was emphasized.\u0000Thus, the language of L. Daien’s documentary story “Chornobyl is a bitter grass” illustrates the social and psychological situation at the Chornobyl nuclear power station on the night of a man-made disaster. The verbalization of this topic is subordinated to the specific Chоrnobyl vocabulary, which reflects the entry into the common practice of narrowly specialized terms (atom, atomic, radiation, radioactive), and also attests to the expansion of the semantic volume of units, “involved”. Understood in the context of contemporary reading of documentary prose, they are perceived as linguistic signs of the Chоrnobyl era.

It outlines the directions of its deformation in the Soviet period, analyzes the proportionality of the Soviet oekonymycide and the post-Soviet restoration of the oykonymic landscape and emphasizes the main problems on the way to overcoming the colonial legacy in the names of settlements of Ukraine. The changes in the oekonymy of Ukraine during the Soviet times became a mirror reflection of the ideology of that time: the main ideologemes of the regime were fixed in the oekonyms by deforming its motivational base and turning them from a means of individualization into propaganda stamps; the cult of personality that was decisive for the dominant doctrine was manifested in the significant productivity of memorial oekonyms; the government’s focus on the ethnic assimilation resulted in phonetic and grammatical russification of names and destruction of their deep connection with the local community. At the time of independence, some consequences of these processes were eliminated, some of the historical names were restored, and the originaly Soviet names were changed. However, overcoming the consequences, decommunization did not affect the root causes which are the Soviet principles of nomination, so this aspect still needs careful attention. Also, the issue of linguistic examination of the oekonymy of different regions of Ukraine remains urgent as well as acquisition of real validity by the norm of Art. 41 of the Law of Ukraine ‘On Ensuring the Functioning of the Ukrainian Language as the State Language’, which establishes that toponyms must be performed in the state language, and therefore determines the need to eliminate the still numerous oeconyms, wich still keep signs of lingual assimilation.

The basis of the research methodology was the definition of three conceptual lines that represent the ideal of “one’s own – stranger” from the point of view of self-, mutual evaluation of characters. These lines are one of the varieties of textual stylistic paradigms, which are based on associative-figurative and semantic-stylistic principles (microgroups, subgroups), reflect the ideas and motives of the authorʼs language. The stylistic load of common vocabulary – names of persons by affinity, by national and ethnic origin, by occupation, by territorial origin, by color epithets is shown. The semantic-grammatical and stylistic changes in the verb “came down”, in the nouns “mother”, “orphan”, in personal and possessive pronouns are noted. Emphasis is placed on the barbarization, vulgarization of linguistic thinking of the generation of parents and children, on the linguistics of the polarization of family members by linguistic, temporal and spatial features.\u0000The concept of “Me and my world” is such a perspective from which the writer represents the migration of Ukrainians, not only in the world, but also within the internal spiritual, moral and psychological boundaries, as evidenced by the relevant metaphor in reasoning-generalizations\u0000The characters are put by the author in various natural-geographical, linguistic-cultural, economic conditions. But all migrant workers are caught by three associative-semantic lines of the ideal of “one’s own-stranger”, which are verbalized through characteristic nominative, nominally-evaluative complexes. Based on such a stylistic model A. Chapai focuses on the existence of modern Ukrainian, on the transformation of linguistic and cultural consciousness of the generation of “parents and children”.

Embodied in various linguistic forms – lexical-semantic, phrase-forming, syntactic-rhythmic and intonation, Lesia Ukrainka’s poetic texts testify to the change of the traditional dictionary of Ukrainian poetry, filling it with new associative connections, consistent with the needs of a particular historical era.\u0000Emphasis is placed on the connection of the word with music, not only formal, but also concretized in rhythms, syntactic and intonational variation of verse lines. The considered textual variants of the sonnet “Fantasy” convince in dynamism, originality of figurative-associative linguistic thinking of the poetess. The dynamics is traced in the textual representation of concepts фантазія, мрія, сон життя, in the symbolic meaning of the token камінь and вогонь, камінь and байдужість.\u0000Emphasis is placed on various forms of contrast expression – from antonyms, oxymorons, to opposing sentences-judgments. They are representatives of the logical and sensual content of Lesya Ukrainka’s poetic texts. On the example of evaluative significant words to the concept-token WORD as an instrument of poetic creativity, a conclusion about the antithetical thinking of the poetess is made.\u0000The dynamic perception of semantics is fixed вогонь, жар, пожежа, associated with a negative assessment of the destructive element, but in the poetic contexts of the author, these symbols are positively assessed as the ability to be a stimulus to creative inspiration, inflammatory, caring soul of the creator. Poetic phraseology to denote the concept of “indifference”, which acquires the meaning of linguistic and aesthetic sign in the Ukrainian language culture, is recorded.

The activity of a voluntary choice in favor of the Ukrainian language in daily communication has been demonstrated, in particular in the practice of state-makers, high-ranking officials of Ukraine, and public figures. This witnessed a radical change in the understanding of language as a symbol of identity and language as a means of communication.\u0000The lexical and phraseological means of motivating the choice of the Ukrainian language as a priority means of communication are characterized (voluntarily switched, wanted to switch to Ukrainian and did so, made a choice, decided to speak, decided for myself) and reasons for dissociation from the Russian language (I do not want to speak the same language with the occupiers; I don’t want to have anything to do with the occupiers; I don’t want to speak the language in which children are killed; I don’t want to spread the “Russian measure”; I don’t want to be part of the Russian pseudo-culture; to avoid associations with Russia), etc.\u0000Rethinking, recoding linguistic values, realizing that language is one of the fundamental signs of a self-sufficient, self-determined, historically and culturally realized nation is especially significant for state-makers and senior officials of Ukraine.\u0000In the context of the analysis of language as a security code, the nature of lexical shibboleths is considered.

Ways of its verbalization in different poetic texts testify to the dynamics of Ukrainian artistic thinking.\u0000Since the end of the 19th century, the theme of the city in Ukrainian literature has been developing with significant intensity, while the interpretation of the village as a bearer of established ethnocultural stereotypes is gradually losing its relevance.\u0000As a result, a new urban type of worldview and the corresponding urban picture of the world with a nuclear macroconcept of the city are formed. These changes are correlated with the transformation of approaches to the linguistic description of the city, the shift of emphasis from the typical for classical literature depiction of urban landscapes, typical or unique urban topos to large-scale reproduction of multidimensional socio-cultural urban text. At the same time, the problem of the relationship between the city and man (the attitude of man to the city, the influence of the city on man, etc.) remains invariably central.\u0000The world of the city in the poetic discourse of the XXth century is an environment of a new multifaceted human life (geographical / industrial / educational / informational / social / domestic / personal space). And in this world is formed different from the traditional patriarchal, socio-psychological type of personality. The life of this personality can be harmonized with the life of the city or opposed to it.\u0000The interpretation of the city as an artificial space, not harmonized with human life and nature, is a logical continuation of the traditional for Ukrainian literature opposition “village / nature – city”. In the paradigmatic development of the key concepts of this opposition the signs of spiritual – unspiritual, natural – artificial, traditional – modern, national – denationalized are contrasted.\u0000Important realization of the image of the city – its display as a space of immorality, mechanized-pragmatic, destructive environment, where there is a moral degradation and depersonalization of man. The general picture of such a negative display of the city is complemented by poetic descriptions of human existence in urban space, which are dominated by senses ‘indifference’, ‘loneliness’, ‘confusion’ and so on.\u0000The positive aspect of the relationship between man and the city, human life in the city is observed in the context of verbalization of the motive of human integration into city life, when a person feels an organic part of urban space.

Recommendations are developed and specific methods of applying fairy tales texts in the educational process are proposed, which can be used by primary school teachers, defectologists, speech therapists in organizing group and individual classes, parents of children with special educational needs in correctional and developmental work.\u0000The attractiveness of fairy tales as a means of correctional and pedagogical influence is due to their properties: the absence of direct teachings; the events of a fairy tale story are logical, naturally follow each other, which allows children to learn cause and effect relationships and rely on them; through the images of a fairy tale, a child gets acquainted with the experience of many generations. Fairy tale plots deal with situations and problems that everyone experiences. The victory of goodness provides the child with a sense of psychological security. Students learn that trials contribute to the inner improvement of a person. The main character of the fairy tale is a collective image with which the child can identify.\u0000The didactic potential of using fairy tales in the educational process of primary school is realized through creating a favorable atmosphere for students to communicate with the teacher; stimulating students’ cognitive activity; ensuring that learning is connected to the child’s real experience; and developing the ability to solve problems independently. Fairy tales provide inexhaustible opportunities for pedagogical creativity. At the same time, it is necessary to clearly adhere to the set didactic or correctional goal in working with a fairy tale, to avoid oversaturation of classes with fairy tale “atmosphere” and characters in order to ensure maximum efficiency of using this powerful diagnostic and educational tool.

The thematic groups (names of persons to denote military rank and names of persons by military specialization) are singled out, which contributes to the disclosure of the specifics of voyenisms in individual, situational use, their use as a means of artistic depiction of reality. The thematic group of names of persons of the enemy camp and the author’s attitude to the perpetrators of the war are characterized.\u0000It is proved that voyenisms in the poetic works of D. Bilous represent the social picture of the world, act as social markers of the corresponding era, are a means of reflecting the linguistic mentality of representatives of a certain society. It is noted that the author saturates his poetic works with a significant number of voyenisms, as he himself survived the Holodomor, the front, the war.\u0000The definition of “voyenisms” is formulated – the names of people associated with military affairs and hostilities. The linguistic philosophy of mass communication is reflected in various forms of implementation of ways of informing, evaluating and expressing will. Any journalistic text has a clear pragmatic orientation – to convince the addressee of the correctness of the judgment and encourage him to react accordingly by means of various linguistic means (changes at the level of structure, semantic and stylistic transformations). In the article, taking into account the integrative aspect of linguistic stylistics, an interpretation of the linguistics of Ukrainian journalistic texts of the beginning of the 21st century is proposed. Modern models of linguistic representation of existence (lexical, morphological, stylistic) are subject to a new semantic understanding of extra-linguistic reality, taking into account the cultural-historical situation, socio-political challenges, and national values. All changes at the structural level and semantic and stylistic transformations in the modern language and information space are determined by social trends, psychological perception of reality.\u0000The basis of the linguosophy of existence is the nuclear concepts defining the modern national space: “Ukraine” with the establishment of positive (Ukraine: state, Ukraine: people, Ukraine: language) and negative (Ukraine – Russia) semantic correlations; “war – peace” with the formation of a dictionary of low and high language expression. The category of evaluability, textual modality, and social motivation are indicative of the language of mass communication.
