This paper seeks to reveal the social reality of religious harmony and inter-religious diversity in Kediri, East Java, Indonesia. This research is based on field data by releasing all the opinions of researchers in revealing facts and reality, the researchers propose a pattern of assumptions according to the developed hypothesis. Informants come from several people who have different religious backgrounds. This paper concludes: First, the model of religious harmony and, the same religion in Kediri City is intertwined by compromising character, culture, the authority like scientific profession. Interaction of religious communities is built through the theological-social concept, namely upholding religious principles. Second, socio-religious analysis confirmed that the phenomenon of religious harmony in the city of Kediri. The informants view that religion is right as a social controller that is dynamic and tolerant. Religion is outside the social layer as a fundamental value, that is, as the principle that God wants peace and humans are the same. The interpretation of the words shahid, jihad, and qital turned into a holy warrior who was then suggested as terrorists. This research is based on a literature study approach using library research. This study explains the doctrine of terrorism on hatred of infidels, Westerns, freedom, and mini clothes. This makes terrorism perspectives in terms of hatred change neuroscience from the nervous system to an emotion that culminates in an increase in psychopathy so that increasing dendritic polymorphisms make it easier for synapses to choose the path of tragedy. The growth of Islamophobia (fear of Islam) is a result of tahrif (deviating the meaning of a word) from outsiders’ understanding, including terrorists who alter the core truth of Islam. This diversion of meaning is a way to ease the reacting and maneuvering emotions into brutal and sadistic actions. They prioritized their interpretation of dyspraxia (carelessness), incoordination (loss of control), dysphasia (loss of polite communication skills), and hemianopia (blindness). Syukur, Moh Muhtador","doi":"10.21043/addin.v16i2.16646","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.21043/addin.v16i2.16646","url":null,"abstract":"This article examines the shift in the meaning of religious texts that transform from exclusive to inclusive in the book Abyan al-Hawāij by K.H. Ahmad Rifa’i. This reinterpretation of the text is given that the conflicts that occurred between the Rifa’iyah group and non-Rifa’iyah residents were mostly caused by the Rifa’iyah group’s textual reading of religious texts that were exclusive. This article reviews exclusive religious texts by showing their historicity (historical function), meaning development (meaning function), and implicative function (implicative function) in order to show a more proportional new meaning. The approach used in this study is hermeneutics of Gracia, critical discourse analysis of Fairclough, and intertextual of Kristeva. The analysis is focused on looking back at the structure of the text (textual analysis), the discourse built by the author (discursive analysis), and the socio-cultural practices surrounding the text. Hermeneutically, the text is then seen in terms of its historical function, the function of developing its meaning, and the function of its implications within the framework of the cultural function of the text. The results of the research show that the exclusive religious text in Abyan al-Hawāij is an oppositional and confrontational text built by the author as a response to the Dutch colonial socio-cultural and political realities in the archipelago at that time. Therefore, reading these texts must also see the discourse of the text. These texts actually have many meanings (multi-vocality). In principle, these meanings are equally acceptable in line with their respective discourses. The problem is limited to the following: (1) What are the views (regarding the definition, characteristics, and statements of agreeing or disagreeing) of Muhammadiyah leaders in Bojonegoro towards the Islamic radicalism movement? (2) What efforts can be taken by Muhammadiyah in Bojonegoro in stemming the spread of Islamic radicalism in society, especially in Bojonegoro? (3) In the field of da’wah, what strategies are used to minimize the possibility of spreading Islamic radicalism in society? The results of this study are: First, regarding the definition of radicalism according to figures and leaders of Muhammadiyah Bojonegoro, it is understood as a movement that wants to completely change the social order in unconstitutional ways. Among Muhammadiyah figures in Bojonegoro considers that radicalism is a product of conspiracy, so that in this context the meaning of radicalism is biased. However, all Bojonegoro Muhammadiyah leaders agreed that Muhammadiyah refused and would fight radicalism. Second, among the efforts/contributions of the Bojonegoro Muhammadiyah Regional Leaders in overcoming radicalism are manifested in various work programs such as implementing the policies of the Muhammadiyah Central Leadership to enlighten the community by showing the face of Islam that is rahmatan li al-‘alamin. Third, Muhammadiyah Bojonegoro does not use a special strategy either in the field of da’wah and in other fields related to combating radicalism, because in general the Muhammadiyah movement from the central level to the lowest level is a movement that shows the spirit of wasathiyah/moderate, inclusive, and promotes tolerance. But the most tangible contribution made by Muhammadiyah Bojonegoro is to instill moderate religious understanding in the community in a structured and systematic manner. In response to this, people often experience cultural shock. University also, as an institution that is required to be able to translate the situation almost stuttering. Some of them were forced to close and no longer operate. This study is qualitative with a phenomenological approach using the literature review method. Field data was obtained from various books and other documents. Finally, the researcher synthesizes various existing data and then makes an interpretation (analysis) so that this research produces a comprehensive and accurate result. The study results explain, Islamic universities as an entity can develop a Knowledge-Based Society. Through production activities, dissemination, and effective utilization of knowledge, of course, there will be an increase in aspects of social development, even economics. The approach method used in this research was sociological juridical. The results of this study indicated that the implementation of the <em>I</em><em>jarah </em><em>M</em><em>untahiya bi a</em><em>t</em><em>-</em><em>T</em><em>amlik</em><em> </em>contract at Bank Syariah Indonesia (Indonesian Sharia Bank, BSI) Semarang Branch Office in the concept of <em>L</em><em>uzumu al-</em><em>‘A</em><em>qdi</em> actually shows the occurrence of legal uncertainty. This is because the implementation of the <em>I</em><em>jarah </em><em>M</em><em>untahiya bi a</em><em>t</em><em>-</em><em>T</em><em>amlik</em> contract should only be carried out through buying and selling, not grants. The implementation of the <em>I</em><em>jarah </em><em>M</em><em>untahiya bi a</em><em>t</em><em>-</em><em>T</em><em>amlik</em> contract can only use a sale and purchase contract because this contract is part of the <em>ijarah</em> contract which aims to obtain profit or profit, while the grant contract is one of the <em>tabarru’</em> contracts which aims to help each other and seek the pleasure of Allah alone. Besides that, implementation of the <em>I</em><em>jarah </em><em>M</em><em>untahiya bi a</em><em>t</em><em>-</em><em>T</em><em>amlik</em> contract settlement through the sale of the <em>I</em><em>jarah </em><em>M</em><em>untahiya bi a</em><em>t</em><em>-</em><em>T</em><em>amlik</em> object results in legal uncertainty, so that this has the potential to harm the <em>musta’jir</em> or the debtor in the event of bad credit or default. Researchers use the field method (field research). This research is qualitative research, then the data is described, analyzed, and discussed to answer these problems. So from the results of the study, it was found that the implementation of the Snack Video application business during the Covid-19 pandemic in Bukittinggi had there aspects, how to use the Snack Video application, how to exchange coins and become money from the Snack Video application and the motivation to use the Snack Video application was in accordance with the provisions. The Snack Video application and in accordance with the provisions of Islamic economy, which is not contrary to Islamic economy, as for cashing out the coins generated from the Snack Video application, it can be disbursed through the application. Money accepted by users is sourced from the company Joyo Technology, Pte. Ltd. and this is mutually beneficial for both parties. According to Islamic law, the contract on Snack Video application consisted of ijarah contract and juala contract which includes 4 missions to get coins that can be exchanged in the form of money. The data were collected from various sources from Nasr’s writings, books, and journals that wrote about Nasr and his thoughts, as well as other sources that had relevance for analysis purposes. Abu Zaid tries to reveal the meaning and significance (magza) which then brings out the meaning of “the ineffable”. In this case, the meaning is represented by the text or in the sense that it lets the text speak about itself. Then, from that meaning, there is a dialogue with the conditions or contexts that surround a reader. This study uses a qualitative approach. Qualitative approach is the process of solving the problem under study by describing the object of research in detail. The data collection technique in this study uses library research in the form of documentation studies, namely books that are relevant to hadith texts. The analysis technique used is through three paths, namely: first, data reduction, which is defined as the process of selecting data; secondly, presenting data; thirdly, drawing conclusions. As for the results of this study, the opinion which says that respecting the flag as a shirk behavior does not have a strong argument. They consider that respecting the flag is not included in worship. so respecting the flag means respecting inanimate objects, respecting inanimate objects is including shirk. The implications of the results of this study can at least provide input to policy makers that normatively, mainly based on hadith, that respecting the flag as a symbol of the state is permissible. The research method used in this study is qualitative descriptive research with techniques for collecting indepth interview data, participant observation, and FGD, as well as documentation. The results of this article research study show that NU’s Kyai plays a significant role in carrying out social changes in the Lamongan coastal community. The role of social change in NU and environmental conservation is expressed through green fatwas on the preservation of marine ecosystems by banning destructive fishing gear. NU’s Kyai who are considered authoritative patrons of the Lamongan coastal community base their social construction on priority jurisprudence considerations, namely by prioritizing general and long-term benefits, rather than special benefits and benefits that are short-term.
