The court appoints the expert oftentimes when the parties are unable to reach an agreement on a joint expert. Questions formulated by both parties are answered by an expert appointed by the court. An expert psychologist's opinion as a witness is vital as he provides evidence in a criminal trial. Allows for accurate reflection of the mental state of the person involved under examination to enable the judge to access evidence provided in the trials. Assessing the statutory functions of an expert forensic psychologist became imperative as the prosecutor and/or the judge rarely have satisfactory knowledge of the factors that may determine the reliability and credibility of the testimonies of trial participants [1].","PeriodicalId":309861,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Forensic Research","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127231021","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the present experiment we examined a possible way lie tellers could use to achieve this: Pretending to have a general poor memory. We gave participants the opportunity to reveal this poor memory in a general memory recall test. Participants first saw a video-recorded secret meeting and were led to believe that they would be interviewed about this video. Participants were instructed to recall it either truthfully [truth tellers] or deliberately distort some facts [lie tellers] and were given time to prepare themselves for the forthcoming interview. In the interview we showed participants a video [labelled tricks video] to test their general memory. We asked them to report this tricks video in as much detail and as accurately as possible. We finished the interview after this recall and never asked them to recall the secret meeting video. Half of the participants were asked to sketch while recalling the tricks video. Sketching is known to facilitate recall. As predicted, those who thought they had to lie about the secret meeting video performed worse in recalling the tricks video than those who thought they had to tell the truth about the secret meeting video, particularly in the sketching condition.","PeriodicalId":309861,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Forensic Research","volume":"280 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133974428","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Politically, war may be considered as a tool of the government, and a sensible apparatus of national policy, based on the expenses and advantages of warfare. According to some scholars, war and peace are the ways to achieve a regulatory compromise between manifestations of human mentality, and the influence of the external environment through natural selection. On the other hand, for the past hundred years, medicine and society have shown a growing interest in combat reactions, and the focus has shifted from an organic one towards a psychological and psychiatric perspective. Like many other pacifist scholars, war was the concern of Einstein, who asked Freud regarding any cognitive strategy for protecting manhood from the threat of war, especially when some psychological obstacles and impulses seem to be involved, which may not be easily measurable or manageable by politicians. In the present article, war has been descriptively reevaluated to explore its perceived cultural – historical aspects, disregard to usual political doctrines or rationalizations.","PeriodicalId":309861,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Forensic Research","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128847290","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Among them, the short-term and medium-term and long-term impacts include encouraging companies to improve the flexibility of supply chains by constructing supply chains digital platforms, supply chains diversification systems and supply chains early warning system in the short, medium and long term, the global supply chains layout will change from internationalization to regionalization, and some high-end manufacturing industries will have a backflow trends. The risks associated with global supply chains management have created a discourse among practitioners and academics. Supply chains risk management is an integral function of the supply chains networks. Supply chains risks management have increasingly becoming a more popular research area recently, when COVID-18 appeared regionally, internationally and globally. In the article there are presented different calculation equations beginning from risk assessment during transportation and finishing by risk modeling, there are important factors influencing logistics and mainly supply chains when different types of risks appeared during COVID-22 transportation time.","PeriodicalId":309861,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Forensic Research","volume":"50 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127082924","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The advent of forensic microbiology and metagenomics has been aided by advances in genetic sequencing technologies, which have improved microbiological sample techniques and dramatically evolved bioinformatics pipelines. Humans carry a variety of microbial communities in and on their bodies, which constantly interact with and change their surroundings. Main Body of the Abstract: We reviewed more than 80 papers that detailed various aspects of the Post-Mortem Microbiome in terms of the Microbial Clock to identify such as geolocation, personal identification, trace evidence, manner and cause of death, postmortem interval and Time Since Death. The fact that much of the research is carried out in mouse and swine models, which are often hard to emulate in human and real-time circumstances, is a key challenge for forensic medical and microbiological research Short Conclusion: To fully grasp its promise of individual Post-Mortem microbiome characterization in forensic sciences, we must include technology innovations that are either currently accessible or are being developed. Sophisticated microbial fingerprint and DNA recoverability would allow the detection of both victims and perpetrators, which are all greatly facilitated by a thorough understanding of the decomposition process. The review to address these obstacles is continuing, and microbiome-based evidence would be expected to play a role in crime scene investigations in the soon.","PeriodicalId":309861,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Forensic Research","volume":"54 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117140707","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is often used in palynology (palynology being the study of pollen and spores) to reconstruct past climate and vegetation changes. If the stratigraphic setting is known, the deposition date can be determined by organic matter in the sediment. The primary factors which dictate the abundance of organic matter are changes in climate and vegetation. Modern forensic palynology has made considerable advances in examining environmental samples, with many studies now showing that the \"structure of pollen grains, in particular, provides an indicator of a sample's environmental and occupational history.\" It, therefore, provides \"a way of finding out what happened before and during an environmental exposure.\" The field of forensic palynology concerned with the study and application of plant and soil organic and biotic evidence objectively and scientifically in order to provide evidence of environmental and occupational processes and conditions\".","PeriodicalId":309861,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Forensic Research","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134600555","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A key difference is whether drug crimes committed by criminal groups are included in drug crimes. In fact, drug crimes should include many situations, and criminal judicial procedures should be treated differently. Individual possession and sale of drugs and individual drug-abuse has absolutely inconsistent social harm. The manufacture, possession, transportation and trafficking of drugs by drug criminal groups may cause great social harm and even threaten national security. The legalization of soft drugs seems to show tolerance for drug users, but if these soft drugs are still controlled by criminal organizations, the harm caused by soft drugs may not be as bad as heroin. There is a big gap in the penalty application of drug policies in various countries, but the understanding of organized drug crime should be basically the same. If this kind of mental control and use of drug addicts falls into the hands of criminal organizations, it will cause great harm to national security.","PeriodicalId":309861,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Forensic Research","volume":"75 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130850352","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
