It is because Muslims are predominantly. They are known to be very religious and even steadfast in applying Islamic values. Most of the educational institutions grow and develop at the initiative of community members (self-help). The distribution of Islamic Religious and Religious Education Institutions in South Kalimantan is 582 institutions. This shows the potential as well as the great responsibility that is carried out in helping the government to realize the goals of National Education. However, it is unfortunate that the diniyah education curriculum experiences stagnation does not up to date. It is not connected to the needs and expectations of the community. It is due to the curriculum tends to focus more on the teacher center. Therefore, the curriculum needs to be adjusted to the needs and expectations of the community. Hence, there is no gap between educational institutions and the community. The research method of this study used Research and Development (R&D). The approach used 2 steps, namely preliminary activities and curriculum improvement (development). The data resources obtained from questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentaries. Participants are ustadz/ustadzah who teach subjects on diniyah curriculum, experts, and graduates. The results of this study indicate that the curriculum for diniyah education especially the wustha level in South Kalimantan is needed to be revised or developed. The curriculum should be adjusted to the aspirations, needs, and expectations of the community.","PeriodicalId":30788,"journal":{"name":"Dinamika Ilmu","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48890108","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study explores and analyzes the problem qualitatively. The method used in collecting data is deep observation of 37 SMA(s) in Bengkulu city. In addition, interviews and surveys were also used by distributing questionnaires to representatives of PAI teachers from 37 SMA/SMK when they were invited to attend a workshop on enhancing literacy culture for PAI teachers. After collecting the data, it was analyzed with the Miles and Huberman style flow model, namely data collection, data reduction: the presentation of data in the form of a percentage of indicators of low reading and percentage of written papers made by PAI teachers; and conclusions. The results showed that literacy culture of PAI teachers, in the context of the habit of reading scientific books and writing scientific papers, was a relatively low. This is influenced by the lack of practice and habit of writing scientific papers such as PTK. The use of digital media such as e-book applications, e-learning, and google shcolar for learning is also low. However, teachers always tell students to visit the library to read books when assignments are given. It was followed that the literacy culture of PAI teachers in Bengkulu city is quite good, but the utilization of digital literacy is still low.","PeriodicalId":30788,"journal":{"name":"Dinamika Ilmu","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"49072017","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research design used is a qualitative approach. The research location is in Ambon, Indonesia. This research was conducted in 2 Islamic boarding schools with 2 pesantren caregivers, and 10 ustadz at the two Islamic boarding schools. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation that focused on three themes, namely the role of Islamic boarding schools, political ideology, and the digital era. The findings in this study reveal that the role of Islamic boarding schools contributes to the strengthening of political ideology in the digital era. The role of the pesantren is carried out through the khalaqoh contained in the pesantren. Khalaqoh is in the form of khalaqoh toriqoh, and also in the form of khalaqoh organization. The perpetrators of the development of political ideology revealed in this study were carried out by the Kyai, as well as the ustadz who was trusted by the Kyai to be badals or substitutes. The development of political ideology through activities in the toriqoh congregation and also the organization's congregation was fairly high. Meanwhile, the weaknesses found in the political ideologicalization by pesantren are not prioritizing the literacy side where the santri and the congregation in the context of ideological politicization tend to be passive. The role of Islamic boarding schools in the digital era continues to contribute to the community to increase their capacity as contributors to the development of political ideology.","PeriodicalId":30788,"journal":{"name":"Dinamika Ilmu","volume":"65 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41283912","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
